It was definitely better than I expected from the previous reviews! It is a typical French auberge, very big and well organised. Only 4 beds in our spacious ensuite female dorm, even a table with chairs and enough storage space. Every bed had an individual light, a socket and a USB socket. Location was not far from the historical centre, and definitely not a dangerous neighbourhood as some reviews try to suggest! It's just a Muslim neighbourhood, fine by me, lots of tasty food! It was quiet at night. I don't get the complaints about breakfast either, plenty of options to choose from, even plant-based milk. Maybe just some sweet pastries would be nice. There is also a vending machine for drinks and snacks, which accepts both cash and cards. Oh and there is a kitchen too, I haven't been there but it's downstairs just next to the dining room, you need your room key to enter.

The automatic taps in the bathroom and shower are a bit of a pain, nothing serious though. Shower could have some soap. Some hooks in the shower to hang up your clothes would be nice, there is nowhere to put them.

You get what you pay for. We had a very warm reception and got a free upgrade from the economy room (bunk beds) to a twin room. The beds were very comfortable. Free maps given at reception and they are happy to answer any questions. You can also store your luggage if you wish, but we didn't given the distance from the centre and we didn't have much luggage. Facilities - towels were provided in our room. You have to put your own bed sheets on and take them off at check out. There were soap dispensers at sink and shower. You can borrow board games at reception if you give id/a deposit which is returned - we liked this. Room very basic (no tv etc) but more than adequate. We stayed during a very cold period but there was a radiator in our room which kept us more than warm enough. If staying during very hot periods, there was a fan in the room but might be a bit stuffy? Location - it is a 20 min walk from the centre which didn't bother us, but the neighbourhood where the hostel is situated might not be the best to be alone at night. Breakfast - breakfast was basic, but good. Buffet continental style - bread, cheese, cold meats, fruit, lots of jams and spreads, yoghurt, boiled eggs, orange juice, tea/coffee machine. The breakfast room closes at 9.30 so you need to be out by then. You bring your own dishes up and stack them in racks.

We stayed in the hostel for 4 nights. Everything was as described. The room was fine for two people. There was a small foldable desk, a chair, and a private bathroom. They gave us towels and sheets for the bed. We had breakfast included, which was buffet style and had many options, including fruit, cereals, toast, juice and coffee. There is also a bar with cheap beer. The staff is really nice and they are willing to help anytime.Special thanks to Gabriel from the reception and Valeria from the kitchen for being extra kind and helping us. We totally recommend this hostel.

It is located in a neighborhood where you need to take extra care and try to get back in daylight.

Breakfast is nice, good choice, but no vegetables. Spacious big room, clean and well equipped with big lockers. Very good and stylish common area.

Unfortunately, the lockers are extra paid, you need to buy it from vending machine for 5 Euros, or have your own. Towels are extra charge, there was no information about it while booking.

Very good equipment. Seprate room for toliet and bathroom, both are nice and clean. Balanced bed of softness and back-support. With a satisfying garden to sit and chat outside.

No covers are provided for the quilt; Instead, a sheet is provided as a layer between you and your quilt. It's OK if the quiltis properly cleaned. However, as someone who is allergic to dust mites, I have two bad nights trying to sleep with the quilt. The only solution for my endless sneezing is using only the sheet, and put away the quilt. That's why I suppose the quilt is not as clean as it should be. Why not consider just provide a laundrable covering for the quilt?

Nice (but very cold) breakfast. It would be nice to have a microwave there, but overall I liked everything. They even had tiny St. Nicolas Day gifts for everyone:3 The location is okay since the city is not very big. So you can calmly walk 30 minutes to be in the historical center. The room and the beds were very clean.

The noise from the water/heating system. It was a repeating sound on the lower frequencies. But it was not that loud. The front desk manager said that it was related to the turning on of the heating system. The shower was cold. I still had to use it somehow, and at the end of the process I noticed that water started to become warmer. It seems that to get really warm water you have to waste a lot of it, and it is completely not eco-friendly. Please work on it

The room itself was really decent for the price you pay, which was relative low budget. The Breakfast in the dinery was included for the room price. Good basic all in all good breakfast, cereals, musli, youghurt, fruits, boiled eggs, juice, coffee etc.

I booked the room for two nights, and on the first afternoon, the cleaner said, she needs to clean the room and demanded to get out for the room. (Room for 4). Which felt odd, considering you pay for the whole time, so you should be allowed to stay in your room whenever you want to. I had two roommates during my stay, one guy was sleeping during the daytimes. Plus they said that the other two guys are leaving after the first night (which didn't happened) and they said they need to clean the room for the next one. The whole situation was confusing. Well at the end no harm done, but still. Other than that the place and staff was 8/10. 32€ per night, is consider cheap/low payment.

The reception staff is very kind. In general, the hostel is quiet; you only notice the people at breakfast after 9a.m. Nice bedrooms and breakfast.

The location is a bit far from the city center, about a 30-minute walk. While there are storage lockers available in the rooms, they can’t be locked, which meant I had to carry my backpack with me every day. If you’ve ever stayed in a hostel, you know how essential it is to have a secure locker for your belongings.

The dorm rooms are spacious for four people. Each of the dorms has own bathroom and separate toilet room. The locker boxes are big. If you don't have a lock, there is a vending machine at the lobby (6€ per lock, good quality) The breakfast that is included fits different tastes ( bread and butter, a variety of cheese and meat, boiled eggs, a variety of bred spreads from sweet to salty, muesli, fresh fruits, tea, coffee, juices, water) Enclosed parking space are available. There is a bus stop in close proximity. Metro a few meters more. Into city center it's a 20min walk. The area is safe. WiFi works properly.

Showers are a bit low in pressure.

The location and the quiet environment The staff is helpful they even gave me a room by myself when they mistaken my room by giving the mixed room not female as I wearing Hijab So he changed the room and I stayed alone in the room The breakfast was good not perfect but good, there was not too many options But the value for the price was perfect The room has everything there was a private bathroom All in all it was very comfortable and I enjoyed it

The bathroom was separated, no basin inside the toilet, the cleanliness wasn’t perfect, but acceptable The breakfast has no variety
