The size of the room is above average. It is one of the best motel rooms we have stayed. It has sound proof walls which makes it very quiet. It even has a separate toilet from the bathroom! being attached to the local hotel is such a bonus. The meals at the hotel are very nice and great prices. Very close to a very nice artisan bakery for lunch and coffee. Very close to Whale watching area. This is our second stay in this gem and hopefully not our last.

No cutlery is provided, although there is tea/coffee, kettle and toaster. I found this the last time as well. Perhaps it may be just a policy due to the fact that they will provide continental breakfast at an extra cost. No big deal.

The hotel really exceeded our expectations (given the price point!). Check in was really smooth and fast, great staff! The room has parking right outside the door, makes it so easier to access. Room has everything you may need, spacious, clean and comfortable, with all facilities etc. provided. Laundromat just nearby if needed, and a general store right accross the road for a coffee or snacks. Allansford seemed like a nice town and the town and hotel had really good charming feel. Great option to stay near Warrnambool.

Wonderful motel ! The rooms were lovely, super clean great amenities. They thought of everything. When I checked in, they gave me a bottle of fresh milk. The lady at check-in gave me a lot of local knowledge. The food at the hotel was next level amazing great value. Everyone that worked they had outstanding customer service. They have set the bar for what a motel should be if everywhere I say was like this I would be very happy.

We were able to check in really late after a long drive. The room was very spacious and immaculately clean. When we checked in they gave us a bottle of fresh milk for our morning coffee and they had little cookies to go with it in the room. The bed was very comfortable.

Renovated room was a very pleasant surprise - tastefully done with reasonably good quality fittings. Good quality linens. Room was a generous size. Food at the connected pub was 'icing on the cake' (the fact that it was almost full on a Tuesday night says enough). Country motels get little better than this - and certainly not at the price.

The room was exceptionally large, and very clean, and extremely nice linen. The bathroom had a separate toilet which was handy. Parking was very easy, we parked outside our door. There was a small pub with restaurant as part of the complex, but we didn't eat in although it looked nice. We did order pizzas though, and they have a good deal with $25 for two medium sized looking pizzas. We also went sight seeing at Childers Cove which was great, and there is a goat dairy right near that where we bought awesome cheese. We also visited the Cheese Factory (weekdays only), which is in Allansford, and got some discounted cheese, and their coffee was good.

Pizzas could be a little bit more authentic, but they were very cheap so all is forgiven .... Also, I read another reviewer's notes, and agree that there could be cutlery and plates/bowls provided (there are none), but maybe they are trying to encourage patrons to order from their restaurant for dinner or from the breakfast menu ....

Nice motel on our way to Mount Gambier. I needed to wash laundry so I got coins from the hotel reception / restaurant as I didn't have any cash and they put it in the hotel bill. Good food in the pub.

An immaculate room - quiet, clean, modern and comfortable. Excellent laundry facilities. Pub was right next door - friendly staff and delicious meals! Short drive to Warrnambool! Can highly recommend this accommodation when travelling to and from Great Ocean Road!

The place was beautiful. So clean! And had everything we could have needed. We spilled some wine on the sheets and felt absolutely mortified but the staff were incredibly understanding. Gorgeous little place so full of charm with the pub right next to it. Every aspect of our stay was 10/10. Thank you!

Fantastic accommodation, very spacious. Separate toilet and bathroom. Owners and staff were amazing. Super easy check in at the pub next door. Great meal at the pub. 16M and 13F were both very impressed. So close to Warrnambool. Will be sure to recommend to family and friends.
