The room was wheelchair accessible, as promised. The rooms were large. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of linen was provided, with thanks. The bathroom had been recently remodeled by the looks of it, it was very clean. The rail in the shower was useful. The only negative was that the current shower stool needed to face sideways to the shower due to the fall of the floor. This was able to be worked around. Definitely not a big deal for a short stay. The only other negative from my viewpoint was that the dishes needed to be washed in the bathroom sink as there was no sink in the kitchenette. The sink didn’t really hold water and was of course low. I’m a tall woman so it made it difficult but not impossible. I was a bit disgusted at having to use a bathroom sink for dishes as well tbh. The unit had a carport to the side which was handy. There were coin operated washing machines available ($4 a load) but I couldn’t see anywhere to hang any washing and there was no dryer. I’m sure there was a laundromat nearby if I’d needed it desperately. I’d happily stay here again, especially if I needed a wheelchair accessible room. It was lovely and quiet and the motel units were spread out around the property so it felt quite private. Thankyou Sue.

I booked an apartment, which was one of the double story rooms at the front of the property. IT WAS MASSIVE! It would easily fit a family of 4-5 people comfortably and with plenty of space for all. Both bedrooms are surprisingly large. There were 2 large bathrooms both with toilet and decent sized showers (with great water pressure) and the upstairs one had a large spa bath also. Towels were fluffy and a good size, bedding was soft and clean. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, with reasonably modern gas cooking facilities. The lady in reception, Sue, was absolutely lovely, her customer service was outstanding and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice stay. Over all I would highly recommend staying here.

Not so much something I didn't like and more something that requires some attention but a few light globes on the staircase needed to be replaced.

Size of the room was perfect with an extra bed if we needed it. We always had clean fresh towels plus extras which we used as we were attending a dance weekend; and it was lovely not to have to reuse damp towels. There was a Coles within walking distance and so we used the microwave for instant meals. Great fish & chip shop outside of Coles which we would highly recommend. Location was perfect for us, and traffic noise was not heard.

Nothing we didn't like

Great value for money - spacious rooms, spotless and seamless check in/out process. The staff were really accomodating to us arriving very late after a long drive. The rooms felt like a little lodge and were private and comfortable - each had a car port and also addition of outdoor seating which would be lovely in better weather.

Be aware that the property is located off a slip lane - Google maps took us for a loop (although no fault of the property and they did give us a heads up about this! )

We had a lovely comfortable stay. A highlight for us was the size of the room. We had plenty of space to unpack our bags and not feel confined to a small hotel room. The bed was also pleasantly comfortable and spacious.

The room was not as clean as it could have been, particularly the bathroom and fridge. Some small changes would go a long way, such as having a coloured / decorative toilet brush and giving the fridge a good clean.

I was so surprised when I arrived here. It was so much more than I expected. I had a sore leg and the owner was incredibly kind to me and gave me her mobile and told me to call her any time of the night if I needed her. She made sure the heater is on in my room and that I was comfortable. The room was so comfortable and cozy and they had Netflix and other channels on the TV. Thank you so much and considering the price I paid it was by far the best experience I've had in a long time.

It was perfect.

Great spot. We wrapped up the great ocean road trip here. The beds were fantastic and the facilities such as the bathroom also brilliant. Had a great yarn with the lady who ran the place and told her about some wifi issues and it sounded like she was keen to get straight onto it which was hugely appreciated.

Wifi signal wasn’t that strong in the evening when the weather was bad had to sit outside the reception in the cold to call family. Worked great the morning after

Room was very spacious and comfortable but we were be able to tell it’s not vacuumed properly, and stairs which were carpeted had lots of dust. Kitchen and bathrooms were kept clean but the dark blanket for the bed had lots of white bits which were not dusted off properly. Facilities was old and could use a bit of colors or mending ( lots of scuffing ), but over all it was great for one night.

- The room was completely clean. - The bed was very comfortable. - The water pressure was solid in both shower and bath. - We visited on a pair of 36 degree+ days and the aircon was more than powerful enough to keep cool.

The only thing I can even think to mention is that the blinds in the room were quite light, letting lots of light into the room even when closed. Not the worst thing, it just means light sleepers might get an early wake up (although we didn't mind and spent the morning at the beach).

We liked that the room was newly renovated, particularly the spa bath! It was very convenient that the room came with a microwave and the motel was within walking distance to a shopping village with Coles, laundromat, Chemist Warehouse and a bakery.

The walls were a little thin. I could hear our neighbours next door talking while they were relaxing outside.
