I was impressed by the size of the room, and the enormous shower in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable after travelling from St Leonards. Staying overnight at Mid City Motel meant that I could travel fully rested for the next day's journey. Rick, the night staff made me feel welcome, even though I was very tired. He was understanding when he had to repeat things for me so that I understood. The morning receptionist Jackie and one of the other staff Amanda, made me feel like I was an important celebrity. Breakfast in the ELEMENTS Restaurant was equivalent to a Truckies Meal at the truckstops. I had Scrambled Eggs on Sour dough slice of bread, Bacon, Mushrooms, and 2 Hash Browns, with a lovely mug of Mocha to top off my meal. There was also a bottle of water and a glass too. The breakfast staff were pleasant and accomadating for my needs. I will definitely be staying here again, and Highly recommend this Motel for any travellers passing through Warnambool. The Motel was centrally located and my GPS found it easily.

Everything was exceptional.

Perfect for a short stay. Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, walking distance from Warnambool station with easy access to a lot of the nearby attractions. Staff at the front desk were lovely and helpful. I did not use any of the amenities. Bathroom in my room looked very recently refurbished and was clean.

Only minor issues: Took a while to figure out the shower settings - the water gets either very hot or very cold. Room can get somewhat gloomy and dark.

The room was really clean and had everything you need for a short stay. Great location proximity wise to the town centre and other areas of interest in Warrnambool. The bed was extremely comfortable!

There were a couple of things that could have been fixed quite easily. The two lamp shades in the room are visibly worn and need to be replaced, as well as a fly screen hanging off the window and not secured properly.

Easy to book. Member of staff called to double check our booking and asked for ETA. Very pleasant gentleman at the desk. Bed very comfortable! Enjoyed the small toiletries (body wash, shampoo etc) handy as was last minute booking as we was travelling the great Ocean road. Handy that it was next to a few restaurants, takeaway so we could grab some food when we landed as it was nearly 9pm before we landed and settled.

Car parking very small. And when most vehicles are 4x4 and trucks not so easy to park up. Next door think someone had been locked out of their room and they kept banging on the door next door and shouting let me in. Not ideal when your trying to relax and sleep at 11pm. Noticed there was no milk to go with teas and coffees. So I didn't use the facilities. Only like 5 channels to choose from on TV which was a shame.

Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. High end linen. Could have done with a few extra tea bags and mugs, kettle was rusty. Convenient location. Its on the main road, but we didnt notice any traffic noise and generally was quiet. Pool looked good, but we stayed during winter and it rained the whole weekend. Overall - good

When we went to the initial room, we found it interconnected with the neighbouring room via an internal door. Experience of noise transfer has made us dislike those type of rooms. We asked for a change and this was given happily and smoothly.

Lacked good lighting in the external stairwells. This makes it a little dangerous, particularly for older people. Those stairwells could do with reflective yellow highlighting of the front edge of the stair treads.

The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, and very polite. It is located very centrally in Warrnambool, and is close to all facilities.

The occupants of the near by rooms liked to talk (loudly) outside, and that was a bit disturbing. But, that is not the fauilt of the motel.

stains on the floor, it didn't bother me more, but they have to let us know before, and also there is a chance that they can put on me while checking out, so I mentioned them immediately when I entered the room, and a couple of flies disturbed me the whole night

Very comfortable beds. Plenty of space in the room. Didn't hear much road noise. Within walking distance to town and the park. Friendly staff. Short drive to whale watching platform.

The shower with the water saver was absolutely terrible. Hard to get a reasonable amount of water to wash. TV reception was bad. Only able to get one channel. Ceiling light was extremely bright, could be less intense.
