Facilty was so amazing! It was one of the best hostels that I’ve ever stayed. everything was brand new even though the rooms were eight people each bed was large and the design of the room was perfect. Also, in the upper bad there was enough space to feel comfortable. Everything was so clean the staff was amazingly friendly. Showers were common but it was always so clean!!

The location was so central you could walk everywhere you want BUT it was in kind of a getto where lots of foreigners and refugees live and the way, which directs to the hostel was amazingly chaotic and dirty. There were people who were trading something on the street BUT maybe you can avoid them by not using the main road (tram street) but using the back routes. MAYBE it was special for the day I come, but this was my experience. Even though I’m coming from a country where I’m used to these kind people and things I didn’t felt safe at all . But when I arrived the hostel, I always felt safe.

I’ll start by the staff, because they’re really nice, helpful and smily! And that is not very common in hostels in France 😅 Special Thanks to Miryam (hope I spelled it correctly) who was extremely helpful to me The location is in a calm neighborhood, but just a walk (3mn) to tram and metro! With many shops and restaurants around, and the river side not far, I think it is super well located The room was not super spacious but very sufficient for 8 people with luggage and all! Every bed has a drawer to store the bags (enough for two hand luggage) It was super clean, common toilets and baths too! The room had a view on the street but no noise

Breakfast was limited Only one fan for the whole room isn’t enough as it could be direct only to one bunk bed

Location wasn’t pretty nice. It’s better to get in fast at night because the neighborhood feels unsafe

Comfortable beds, exceptionally polite and helpful staff - I got pickpocketed and the receptionist helped me manage my online banking which I will forever be grateful for. The next day the other receptionist was also super helpful giving me directions where I could report the theft which happened at the train station as soon as I arrived in Lyon - so future travelers, beware of that. There’s a cozy space where you can charge your electronic devices and refill refreshing water after you check out and before you check in. The luggage storage is free of charge which is also very nice.

There was no AC in the room.

- very good location, nearby tram station (great connection with Gare Lyon Perrache or Lyon Part Dieu-tram to the airport) - walking distance from the main touristic attractions (if you like to walk a lot)! - great, helpful staff (girls and guys equally), - cafe downstairs/social space really cosy and nice, - room relatively big and luckily with windows to ventilate it - relatively comfortable beds with curtains and lockers inside, - very close to the open swimming pool (which was great btw)

- It should be more bathrooms or toilets for the amount of guests, -there is no air conditioning but someone was upset after opening the windows… - the rest was really good 👍🏼

The staff were friendly on arrival. If you needed anything, they were more than willing to help. The bar / cafe was a nice spot to have a beer and watch the world go by. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures with nice little French windows overlooking the street. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were excellent. I personally had no problem with the wifi, but I was on the first floor. The location was close to both the metro and tram. It seemed sketchy at times with dodgy things happening, but always felt safe enough. There are also a couple of nice cafes within walking distance.

Not much really.

We stayed in a private 2 person bedroom, was really clean, had enough room and the blinds were blackout. Comfy beds. Room wasn’t too warm, windows opened properly and had a fan. About 30 minute walk to the train station. And 20/30 minute walk into Lyon centre itself, so right in the middle between them both. Shops nearby eg Lidl was 5 mins away.

The area it was in wasn’t the nicest, a few streets surrounding were heavily male dominated which we found intimidating and threatening as two young females however, getting a taxi, this could be avoided.

I like the location and the fact that the hostel provides the best ambiance with breakfast 🥞🍳. Staff are super friendly they show you around the hostel. The check in was really fast with a friendly smile. Beds are huge and comfortable I forgot to put the quilt inside the duvet because I didn't see the sign inside the room. They need curtains for bed and privacy. The bathroom is really clean with hot water. Shower gel is there and a towel. It's really a good place to stay. I will recommend this place to friends.

Really good location. Hostel was warm and friendly and people working there were always happy to help with anything. Lots of different languages spoken and easy, chilled environment.

There was no kitchen so couldn't make food so the trip was more expensive as had to eat out a lot. The bar was pretty expensive and happy hour could have had more drinks for cheaper not just beer, to bring people staying in the hostel together a bit more...like teas and coffee, they had good teas, and cocktails and soft drinks...

Very clean! It’s a refurbished old building so the outside looks a little old but the inside was very nice. It has a nice eating area inside and a small one outside. The staff were super friendly and helpful!

No kitchen. However they do have a microwave and Picard is only 10 minutes walk. They have some really nice upgrade microwave food at reasonable prices. The area looks a little sketchy but I think it’s safe. I walked around at 10:30 pm and I had no problem. Is not in old town but it’s only 15 minutes away by tram or Subway.
