The overall look and feel of the place is amazing . So much history and character but also with all the mod cons you would expect The courtyard is a relaxing place for drinks with the option of the seated huts for say a more intimate gathering of friends or family. The rooms( we had the gold room) was clean, beautifully decorated ,spacious, enormous luxury bed. The bathroom was beautifully modern well stocked with toiletries and plenty of towels. With tea, coffee, bottled water all of a superior quality to what I would expect . The food inthe restaurant was delicious and good value for money and would fully recommend the breakfast The staff were all friendly and nothing was to much for them to accommodate us,especially a.j who went above and beyond her duties. Overall I cannot find fault with our stay and would like to thank Aiden and his team for a lovely weekend break ,I'm sure we shall return.

Staff was very friendly, room was nicely decorated & comfortable and the location was nicely situated for easy access to the courounding area and RAF MIldenhall and RAF Lakenheath.
The only soap provided was hand soap in the sink and a few bottles of shampoo, not a problem as long as you are prepaired as a lot of UK hotels dont provide soaps. Additionally, twice the staff forgot about me when i ordered dinner. Took over 2-hours to get my dinner one night due to lost order.

Rambling old pub, very nicely done up, spotlessly clean and nice people. Super convenient location on the road East
Little things: The pub closed at 10pm on a Friday, not good for the late traveller, but they kindly let us sit a while longer. Room 10 (“best room”) had a lovely looking bathroom with great shower, (which needs some instruction) but no place at all to put more than a toothbrush, really not practical. Many decorative lights, but bedside lamp on the dark side of room was missing. Super comfy bed, high quality linens, and quite large space but a bit difficult for more than one person We had a better room on a previous stay

Staff ery friendly and helpful. The hotel its self is very quirky and rustic it has a lovely atmosphere about it. We found it very quiet and relaxing. It was perfect for what we required. Would definitely stay there again.
It has a family feel about it, but doest have anything for children. It would be nice to have a children's area to play in so that parents could relax and they could all enjoy a nice meal.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean bathroom! Good location for travelling to the nearby Snetterton rave circuit.
No fan in bedroom as mentioned there would be, had to ask for one. No bathmat, ask to provide one. Sink mixer tap in bedroom was loose. Water pressure in bedroom was very low. Bfast not included in bedroom rate, Small portion of 1 sausage, 1 egg and 1 rasher of bacon, no baked beans on day 2... £11.50 for a full English!! £102 per night should include bfast.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, breakfast was one of the best I have experienced in a long time, and I travel / stay away a lot. Will definitely be booking to stay again when i am next back in the area. The bathroom had a double shower unit, so had the choice of a fierce or waterfall shower, which I have not come across before.
I did not find anything that I was disappointed with at the location, with the staff or the facilities available for my use.

Staff were happy, helpful and well organised. No fumbling around with paperwork or mistaking which rooms you were in etc. Seemed very much like they wanted to be there and were more than happy to help with any queries. 10/10
The only thing we didn't like was that the bath tap wasn't secured to the wall properly which poured into the ginormous tub. Held it in place so water could flow properly. I think this must have been due to people pushing on it to hoist themselves up. Other than this it was a very enjoyable night's stay.

Hotel was chosen because of location/proximity to Center Parcs. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. Enioyed a drink in the pretty courtyard.
We knew the room was a compact double but it was much smaller than expected. Bed was pushed against a wall so difficult for one of us to get in and out. Room was very hot but couldn't open the window due to road noise from the A11 which was constant.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was clean with a lovely en suite and a very comfortable bed. I didn't eat in the Inn.
I know the age of the building but the crooked and uneven stairs were a real concern for me as an elderly lady on her own. My family actually told me to stay in my room until they could come and help me downstairs. The carpet on the stairs was also very worn and torn in one place.

I loved ambiance, good food and ales and oddly the weird loud noises in the night... The bar and reception staff were lovely.
Breakfast not available. I asked the very professional and pleasant receptionist (Juan I believe) for the earliest continental breakfast and was told the earliest was at 7, Was then advised the cook who is in about 6, should be able to accommodate you at about 06:30 and made a note on the PC to the cook to ask if she could oblige. I was down and ready for the off at 06:15 when I met the cook and asked what I do with the room key? She took it off me said it will be fine on the reception desk and said "I'm so busy and got so much to do". I did not have an opportunity to ask for a cup of Coffey and a slice of toast as she practically run towards what I believed o be the kitchen. I said goodbye and left hungry...
