Minn Juso is a lovely place to stay, in a very convenient location only a 5 mins walk from Juso station, with direct connections to Kyoto and Osaka-Umeda from Juso. The beds were comfortable, the room was exceptionally spacious, with a nice view outside. The bathroom and toilet were very clean, and provided all the facilities we needed. We didn't use the kitchen as there's ample places to eat very nearby, but cutlery, glasses, crockery and everything you'd need to cook is generously provided for you. I would definitely stay here again; the location can be a little busier at night time with bars close by, but this can be easily avoided by just going a slightly different route to the hotel from Juso station.

This place was a very pleasant surprise. I was nervous when booking it because the area is considered "rough" for Japanese standards however, this was our favourite stay in our one month Japan trip. The pictures online are very accurate with modern furniture/decor and spacious but it is also well kept and extremely clean. No weird musty smells which we found in multiple other places we've stayed in Japan. Very clean sheets, towels, kitchen, bathroom, and washing machine. Instructions of the stay, including room cleaning schedule and check-in/check-out on the ipad, were clear, although, we noticed there was usually very friendly staff at the front desk! Wifi was fast, functional aircon, washer, and microwave. Dishes and cooking utensils were new and they even provided a new dish sponge along with dish soap! This place is also very conveniently located especially a short walk to Juso station so there were lots of shopping and food options, including many Japanese fast food chains and even a Don Quijote that wasn't as busy as most we've visited! It was also nice that this was only one stop away from Osaka/Umeda station.

The beds were a little hard, squeaky, and sunk in where people sleep lol but it wasn't overly uncomfortable. The walls were thin so we heard other guests with kids running around a few times in the early morning but it wasn't too bothersome. It was a tad uncomfortable with the host bar/club staff standing outside the main entrance as those type of places were just across the street but you can quickly get used to it...it seems they actually don't bother foreigners but one could worry about safety with drunk folks around. But overall, I would definitely highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay!

A good room at an excellent price for 2 adults and 2 older teens to explore Osaka from. It is a little further from the main areas, but easily accessed by train. The cost saving by staying in Juso was considerably more than the fares for all of us. Good space in the room for 4 people and luggage, with separate toilet to the bath and vanity area being appreciated. Traditional bath/shower was very good. Kitchenette was well appointed and useful. Beds were long enough for 6'7" husband.

The bunk beds were comfortable but a little noisy when turning over in the night. Working out how to control the sensor lights took a bit of time.

The accomodation itself was really good. It had all the facilities you need, more than enough space for luggages whilst being able to move freely and relatively clean bedding. It was extremely cost effective.

The staff. Arriving in Osaka airport at 10am, and leisurely travelling to the accomodation, arriving at 12pm. We were forced to wait in the 30 degree lobby with no staff to speak with until 3pm. I'm not entirely sure why we weren't allowed to check in earlier than 3pm, however, the lack of staff made it unconvincing that they were "preparing the room" for us. There was also no baggage storage. Thus, without sleeping for 25 hours and luggages broken wheels, exploring Juso was not an option.

Everything is clean and comfortable. You can check-in and self-check-out by scanning the QR code. At first the Internet in my room didn’t work but I messaged the staff through LINE and they supported me quickly. It is near the station and many combinis, Donki, restaurants. I expected the surrounding area to be loud and noisy at first but on the night I went it was quiet to sleep.

This apartment was exceptional. We were 4 and the room was big enough for us. Very clean, check in/out easy. The location was great and although it seemed to be in a nightlife area we heard nothing at night. Air conditioning was great as were the shower and bath. Beds were comfortable

My only point for this would be that the sofa beds are quite short and only suitable for children. This was not an issue for us.

Most things - except for payment. YOU = BOOKING.COM messed up my payment to Minn Juso by removing my payment to them three (3) times from my Australian bank each one for A$468.84 +A$14.07 for exchange fees. This equals A$1448.73. Then on leaving I had to pay Minn Juso - as you had not payed them!! The Booking. com agent told me he had initiated a REFUND to me of A$1448.73 = BUT to date I have NOT received a penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booking.com's actions as the Minn Juso people BLAMED ME for not paying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love how spacious the room is. I like how clean. Just 1 minute walk to Don Quijote. A lot of restaurant around.

No storage for luggage for those coming earlier than check-in time. I really thought there was based on their review. Sadly the review was during pre-pandemic. We had no choice but to bring our 50kg luggage to osaka-umeda station via train which is about 300m plus the up and down stair coz our bus from tokyo arrived 7am to osaka. No coin locker near the hotel even the nearest to the train station. Also, location wise for budget tourist, not practical since they have different train company from the one near the station and those of most tourist spots in osaka, which is the MetroStation. Paying ¥420/person and 1.5km walking round trip going to the metro station.

Big family rooms, safe and secure with unique digital coded locks. All of the facilities you will need for a short stay.

If you are on level 2 then prepare for late night noise. Sounds like we were above someone playing a game of Jumanji.

The room was clean. All appliances were functional. English translations were on charts to help us understand how to use them. Our room had everything we needed during our stay, including some dishwashing soap and a scrub pad to wash our dishes. Our hotel was close to several convenience stores, restaurants, and local shops so it was easy to find food, toiletries, and other necessities. Walking to and from the train station was easy to navigate. Because my hotel room resembled an apartment, I felt like I was actually living in Japan.

We couldn't access the balcony but we understood that the stopper on the sliding door was there for our safety. We didn't mind not being able to use the balcony since our view outside the hotel was relatively small. I wished the hotel had a water station, or that the kitchen had a water filter system so we didn't have to purchase bottles of water.
