Clean, no fuss place. Breakfast is simple but does the job. The location is great as it is next to a piazza.

Being a small city I did not realise that getting a taxi transfer to the train station was near impossible. I think perhaps next time, help out travelers by emphasing that taxis are not readily available and to book private transfers.

+ Good location + A balcony in my room, with a nice view over the surroundings of Orvieto. + Quiet, good sleep quality. + Breakfast is simple but good. + Value for money. + You can leave your bag before/after check-in/out.

It was rather chilly in the room in the evening, but not a big problem. Just bear in mind that it's quite a simple accommodation. If you want more luxury o romance, there are probably better (but more expensive) options (However, the balcony is very romantic!:)

Large room with a balcony, great location, the front desk lady was very responsive, a peaceful environment and our room faced away from the street. Lots of closet space. There’s an elevator, yeah!

The door of the bathroom is frosted glass and in the middle of the night, if someone turned on the light, it blazed across the bed. A suggestion..what about a coffee maker or little kettle with coffee/ tea and a little fridge. We were out of season and breakfast was not included. A few of our adopters didn’t fit. The pin holes in plug are slightly further apart.

The room had a wonderfull view, and the staff was incredibly helpful in guiding us to the location. The institute has both a back entry which is very useful for parking easily, and also a front entrance directly in the center, which is great then for walking. The room had an awesome view, is quite spacious, clean and confortable. The bathroom is ok, and also the breakfast is ok. Moreover the price is very reasonable

Cannot point to any real weakness, just some things are not perfect given that the place is a little old, but it has no real problem nether.

Orvieto is at the top of a hill, so you will need to take the funicular up to the top from the train station (if that is how you are arriving), then a shuttle bus to the Duomo (combined cost of 1,30 euros). From there it is only a 10 minute walk to SS Salvatore. Just follow the signs to Piazza del Popolo. The room was very clean and kept so with daily housekeeping. The bed was comfortable and neighbours were (mostly) not heard. Great view from the small balcony. The bathroom was large and clean, but the hot water took a while to come through.

WiFi kept cutting out. Apparently as my room was at the end of the corridor.

This was a very unique experience. Getting straight to it: PROs: -the view from the balcony (must book room with balcony) -location -staying somewhere unique -quiet guests -staff is very helpful CONs: -shower water doesn't stay hot for too long -breakfast is pretty mediocre, just pastry and coffee and some cold cuts -no daily towel change -can feel like you are walking on eggshells. Would happily stay here again for the view alone.

This location exudes a wonderful spiritual energy, very quiet, peaceful, serene. The garden is wonderful, and the views from our balcony room were stunning. A couple of times we came in and nuns were singing or playing guitar in the chapel, very calming. It was just what we were looking for.

There was no breakfast. This may have been a misunderstanding on my part, I think a simple breakfast has been included in the past, but not now. Also, the front desk is not staffed in the morning.

Wonderful place to stay, loved staying in a sisters' community. Room was small, but clean and totally fine for my stay. Very close to everything. The weather wasn't so great when I arrived, but cleared up beautifully the next day! Staff was very nice.

I didn't know that breakfast wasn't offered, would have been nice if it was, though I understand that they don't begin offering it until the next month.

Very quiet and the front desk was very helpful. The location at the corner of Piazza del Popolo was excellent and I had a very nice dinner at very reasonable price in one of the restaurants on the square. great location to walk to all of Orvieto. Easy to get to. I took the funicular from the train station and the free bus from there to the Duomo and walked a few blocks thought the wonderful Orvieto to the hotel.

The wifi in the hallway was strong so probably most rooms were very good. My room was in a far corner and so it was weak but I had a strong cell signal so everything was great as I have an Italian SIM.

The Instituto is an absolute Gem! Wonderful BIG rooms! Very clean and comfortable! The absolute bonus is the wonderful Nuns that manage the Instituto. They are so kind and considerate! One of the Nuns came With me to park my park in their parking area because it’s a bit difficult to give directions to the lot. Breakfast was wonderful! The views from the rooms are Spectacular! The location is supreme! Right smack in the middle of it all!
