The room and grounds were clean and well kept. Management was very helpful and keen to please. Free breakfast was available and a good start to the day. Free trolley into the harbor was available nearby. Also grocery store nearby

Property had experienced a destructive fire nearly a year ago. They were still in the recovery process. Pool area was open and very clean. Hot tub was still in need of repair but should be ready next season

The location is great, a 5 minute drive to downtown. The room was really clean and the beds were comfortable. Grounds were well kept with plenty of outside seating.

Though not their fault, the pool was out of order due to a fire. It would have been nice to know beforehand. Also, breakfast was not great. There weren't any plates to put the pastries on, or tongs to pick anything up. I used a napkin, but others were using their hands, not sanitary. Also, I work at a hotel and when I check someone in, I explain breakfast hours, pool hours etc. That would have been helpful.

We loved the heated pool! The beds were also very comfortable. I would recommend others to stay here. I do really wish their breakfast was longer than just two hours though. Overall we are very happy with out stay.

We were not happy that breakfast was only 7AM to 9AM. We never got a chance to even see it. The chair in the room had a bunch of stains on it, which was gross. The paint is peeling pretty badly in the bathroom too and looks unclean. For over $200 a night, I would say that stuff should have been taken care of.

The remote for the tv was so slow to respond that I almost gave up, thinking it was not working. Maybe it needed new batteries? I didn't like that the included breakfast was not a quick 'grab and go' option next door, but instead they gave us a voucher for a place downtown. While the restaurant in town was very good, it also seemed popular and crowded, and my seating was hot and uncomfortable. I wish I'd known this prior to booking.

Doris (?) at the front desk called and checked in about our arrival ahead of time because of bad weather that day. She was very friendly and helpful upon our arrival with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The continental breakfast included hot items, and the server was friendly and helpful. We found the location ideal for getting to local sites of interest.

The room was surface, clean, but there was sand in the tub and on the bathroom floor. The towel racks were heavily rusted, which added to the dated feel of the space.

No one greeted us upon our arrival which was about 7:30 pm. By chance, we found our keys outside in the mailbox. The office was supposed to be open until 8pm. Also, there was no instruction on the continental breakfast. Went to the office the next morning and it was still closed . We were not informed that the breakfast was moved to the building next door until the office opened and we had to ask. Other than that, it was fine. Enough towels for the number in our party, room was clean. Someone was smoking pot outside close to the building near our room though. Not sure what the laws are on that in Maine.

The hotel was quiet. Check-in desk attendant was friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was very good and plentiful, and the staff member preparing the breakfast was friendly and helpful. I liked the heated pool and hot tub outside the Flagship Inn. There are many services nearby - a restaurant, grocery store, gas station, and an ice cream shop to name a few. And it's only a few minutes by car to scenic Boothbay Harbor.

The freezer in our room refrigerator needed to be defrosted. It had too much ice build up which made cooling less efficient. The air conditioning worked well, and the hotel and room amenities were fine. The hot tub had a lot of foam and the water should be treated with product.

Beautiful spot. Backs up to penny lake preserve. A beautiful hiking trail. 6 minutes from downtown boothbay and all attractions ect that are there! Breakfast was great. Pool and hot tub were lovely. Restaurant on sight if you choose to eat dinner there as well. Plenty of parking. It was quiet and just far enough away from all the loud tourist hustle,bustle and crowds!! Also has pic nic tables, and bbqs available for use. We stayed in 257 in the back which had a lovely view of penny lake trail.

Everything was great. We had no issue here. They did not have green tea.. so, we picked some up. I usually bring my own anyway but, forgot to pack it!

Nice pool, clean, comfortable room, thick towels, light breakfast offered next door. Good location. Only a short drive to harbor area. A pizza restaurant and ice cream shop are across the street,which was convenient after a long trip

Reception staff at check-in were not welcoming. No place to hang clothes, in room. Installing a rod with hangers would be helpful for dresses/suits.

Breakfast location was great in a closed restaurant next door to the property....lots of space. Breakfast was ok....would have been nice to have toast available.. . And the orange juice was not that cold...just sitting in a glass carafe. But our room was very good....very clean and well cared for. Bed was comfortable. Microwave and fridge in room although fridge didn't have freezer for our ice packs but staff allowed us to put them in a freezer near the lobby. Nice quiet location, short drive to the waterfront/downtown area.
