We went here for octoberfest, when it is most expensive and there is a lot of noise outside. The room windows can open all the way but it might be some noise outside. The location is central and close to everything. It is a bit of a walk to the beer tents, but it is fine. There are stores and restaurants nearby. It is a great location. The beds are soft and comfortable. The room is okay, nothing extraordinary, but it is clean and decent.

There is no airconditioning, so if you travel during summer it might get hot. Rooms are a bit dated, so dont expect so much. Check in is a bit late.

The property was well located - walkable for most attractions and close to public transportation. The actual accommodation was very clean, felt safe and secure and fresh. We checked in around the corner at the sister hotel - but the process was seamless and we were met with a friendly and helpful manner! The staff went above and beyond in helping us extend our stay when a family member became ill. However, even before this - we were already super pleased with everything. We stayed both in the 6 bed room and the studio (4 people). Both accommodations would be ideal for families. The mini fridge in the hotel room worked really well - including the small freezer if you’re on a road trip or need to freeze ice packs. The studio apartment was also very nice - complete with kitchen. A longer stay for business or traveling with kids would be ideal. Overall- a very, very price worthy and more than pleasant experience. Thanks so much!!!!

There is nothing negative about this hotel - for the price I found it exceptional.

The room was great for a family and the kitchenette was well stocked to allow us to cook breakfast/lunch/dinner, which saved us quite a bit of money. The location was excellent; it's about 10 minutes walk to Marienplatz. I didn't use public transport too much, but Sendlinger Tor stop for the trains was easily accessed too.

The only downside is that the streets are noisy through the evenings, and the room gets quite warm even in winter, so you can't really sleep with the windows open unless you bring a noise machine. The fan helps if the windows are closed, and it adds some white noise too,

We did not take part in the breakfast but I did see some eating there it actually looked pretty good. The location was fantastic easy to get to from the main train station one stop on the u bon. Close to all the main attractions. I'm almost 60 and it was easy to walk to all of them good places to eat right around the hotel quiet neighborhood and if you get lost you just look for the sendlinger tor on map and you're home. The hotel was kept very clean and the staff was very very nice at the check-in we have an elevator and the bathroom had a bathtub good size rooms I would definitely choose them again!

The front desk staff was terrific - very accomodating and helpful. Spacious top floor apartment - room to relax and get over jet lag with no upstairs neighbors to disturb us. Kitchen was well-equipped. Plenty of clothes storage. Comfortable furniture. And, very important during a June heat wave, fans and an movable air conditioner unit!!

Maybe a dishwasher - though we mainly ate out. The shower would be a little tight for larger people.

Great location. Very low key hotel, but it gets the job done. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Beds were standard European firm very comfy, with earplugs and eye masks we got fantastic sleep.

Don’t forget ear plugs! It can definitely get loud outside the building at night from party people and early morning from trash trucks and such. Also, beware that outlets are sparse and poorly located so unless you bring a SUPER long cord, don’t count on charging anything on the nightstand.

It was very good, the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. Location was pretty close to the main center, between the bus station and the big clock, that for some reason, It was underwhelming, draws a crowd.

The street noise all night long was terrible. While I know the hotel cannot control this, just be aware, our room was like in a canyon with lots of echos. A hot kettle would have been nice, since there was no coffee offered.

This is a beautiful room at a low budget price. It is really well maintained and immaculately clean. I liked the decor and the bathroom is modern and pristine. Lots of towels. Your view from the large windows is lovely and window can be opened wide. Trees everywhere. The walk to the city centre is just 500m along Herzog-Wilhelm-Strasse and to Sendlinger Straße (another important shopping area) is just 3 minutes walk. There's a coffee shop over the road that sells delicious coffee. In fact all of the coffee in Munich is wonderful. The hotel has a lift which is a delight after walking all day! NOTE: You check in around the corner (30m) at the Hotel du Train on Herzog-Wilhelm-Strasse so just go there first. Nearest train S8 from airport stops at Karlsplatz in the city centre takes about 35 minutes. Then 800m walk via Herzog-Wilhelm-Strasse to Hotel du Train. You are close to everything and just walking around this city is breath-taking.

I expected a kettle in the room. This was hugely problematic for me. I don't usually do a thing till have had 2 coffees! Having to shower and get ready for the day on water was bad for me. Ditto for evening cups of tea. I didnt see a mini-mart/supermarket/sweet shop/7-11 where you can buy maybe a sandwich/snacks/cold drinks anywhere and I walked around for 4 days. That is NOT the fault of hotel and I stand by my 5 star review. But being able to make hot drinks would have alleviated that.

It is a great spot everything is very close to it and the room is big and clean. We are very happy with the service and the accommodation.

The beds are very very soft and it was not so comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom was not very strong even when we adjust it. And it get pretty noise in the evening so take your earplugs with you.

Fantastic location, comfortable large rooms and the helpful reception staff were available 24/7 and the room was easily accessible including a lift (unusual in our trip thus far).

Th instructions on how to find the reception space were a little unclear in the Booking.Com information, so when we arrived we had to call the reception for directions to help us find the door on the opposite side of the block to our room address.
