The hotel is beautiful and newly renovated. The room is very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Breakfast also has loads of options, good spread. Staff are very courteous and helpful and they offer contacts for guided tours around Albania should you need one.

The breakfast food was left uncovered so it was all cold, they should close the lids. Hotel staff gave wrong information on bus to Berat - this is actually from a different bus terminal away from the city centre (you need to take a public bus to get there).

A charming boutique hotel — highly recommended! We stayed as a family of four and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, with clean, comfortable rooms and cozy beds. Breakfast was excellent; despite being a small hotel, the selection was impressive, especially the pastries and desserts (the owner also runs a nearby café, which explains the quality!). The staff were warm and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better — right on the main road in the city centre, close to tourist attractions, and just a short walk to the promenade. You won’t regret booking a stay here! 😊

Breakfast was absolutely AMAZING! So much variety of everything - sweet, savouries, more variations of tea than I've seen, juices etc😻 The Pistachio croissant was scrumptious! I wanted to eat EVERYTHING, but sadly I don't have enough tummy space 🥲 Definitely worth staying here! I stayed for 1 night only, though i wish i could have extended it, but i had my flight the next day. Location is central, near to all the shops and nicer cafes. I think there is also parking right next to the building, but i didn't use it as i walked there. Easy to find location overall. Super friendly staff who helped me store my luggage for the day as i was out sightseeing. My room was beyond lovely! - I felt like it was a 5* hotel because it was super clean, spacious, had all the necessities e.g bathrobes, slippers, toothbrush, comb, shampoo, towels, a mini fridge with drinks (paid for separately). My room even had a small balcony type that i used to stand outside to breathe fresh air and room temperature is also controlled by the system. Wifi was very fast too! I streamed a couple of movies. I would come here again! ❤️

Absolutely nothing bad about it!

The hotel was very beautiful and modern but with a vintage style. The rooms were well equipped, the bathroom was spacious and clean. There were a lot of needed amenities provided like a hairdryer, slippers, beach towels or basic body care products. However, what was the best about the hotel was the service in it. The breakfast was a 9/10 experience, a lot of tasty food options to choose from, someone who wants sweets or keto is going to find something. The hotel staff was very helpful and nice, and genuinely helped us a few times in difficult situations.

The view from the window was extremely ugly. It’s surrounded by an abandoned building, another hotel and a car parking, so no matter which room you have, the view is going to be very dissapointing, no wonder they don’t show what’s behind the window on booking pictures. Another issue is the location if you’re looking mostly to get tanned. It’s near the city square, however, the nearest nice beach with sunbeds is over 20minutes away.

The location was excellent just being 1 minute away from the attractive boulevard that had many cafes and dining places. It is close to the historical centre and a couple of minutes away from the beaches, although the local beaches are not great in terms of sand quality and space. The staff were super friendly and helpful with their level of English being excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and of a very high standard offering hot and cold dishes. I found the hotel peaceful, clean and a very pleasant place to stay. I would stay there again as it was value for money.

all was good but some people who had cars may have found parking difficult.

We were absolutely delighted, the hotel has exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive, the facilities were great (shoutout to the fantastic aircon braving 37 degree summer, great wifi and the little individual displays at the door which allowed us to signal to the staff whether we‘d like to have our room cleaned) and our absolute highlight was the breakfast with excellent freshly made coffee til 11.

Very beautiful hotel and also very beautiful decorated. Excellent breakfast and nice dining area. Very friendly staff. The location is in the center of Durres which we liked but it is a couple of kilometers to the beach.

When we ordered a taxi, a private driver came instead. He overcharged us and did also take a detour. And he wasn’t professional.

It was in a great location, central to everything and close to the beach yet away from the noise. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. It was clean and offered a good breakfast

The breakfast was largely the same everyday so some variation would have been good. Also the bathroom was very small. It could also have some storage added like hooks for us to hang some things. The hotel was clean but on one day the bed wasn’t made. However when feedback was given to reception they apologised.

Giulia Albérgo Hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It is a stylish hotel and a beautiful building (both seen from the street and inside the room). Located in a small and quiet side street of the busier Bulevardi Epidamn in the old historical centre close to the sea. Within walking distance are the Durrës Amphitheatre, the Great Mosque, the Venetian Tower, the Column monument and the Durrës Balcony. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in this area. The Durrës Central Bus Station (for buses to Tirana and Shkodër) can be reached on foot from the hotel via the Rruga Egnatia (20 minutes along this large avenue with wide sidewalks). For more southern locations in Albania you have to go to another bus station. The old part of Durrës is very atmopheric and feels pleasant. (However, I wasn’t really much impressed by the Roman amphitheatre) The room and bathroom were very clean, sufficiently large and comfortable. Large breakfast buffet with many choices. Friendly and helpful staff. A hotel where you feel at home.

The room and hotel was SO CUTE, like actually beautiful! Everything was well appointed and designed, I loved my little balcony off my room and the view of the surrounding area and that it was set back on a little side street but still so central. I loved everything about my stay. The lighting options in the room, comfy bed, clean and nicely designed. just the whole vibe was really expansive and upscale, boutique. The staff was wonderful great breakfast. There is an elevator so great for luggage, parking close by. Honestly have so many great things to say about my stay here.
