The location is FANTASTIC! The best part of Chaweng Beach(clean and easy to get in). Is in the Center of Chaweng Beach and so close to Samui Cemtral Mall and central night market(less than 10mins walking distance).The hotel is near to all the facilities that you need (step out of the hotel and you’ll find lots of of good restaurants,with better prices than the hotel’s restaurant.) Is a clean hotel and daily cleaning service in rooms. The breakfast was almost the same for all 18days,but the food is tasty and delicious (you have options and you’ll get super full). Is near to the ARKBAR,so easily to get there to enjoy their night club(the fire show is spectacular)but in the same time is not disturbed by their music. Were enough sun beds for everyone on the beach and as well near the pool area. The restaurant team is amazing,everyone is supportive (bringing your coffee and drinks to your table),everyone is polite and friendly.

The resort is located in a very central area with a lot of shops and restaurants but once you enter the resort you don’t notice any of that. I’ve never once heard any music or sounds from outside. The resort is very clean and well taken care of, so are the pool and beach area. I loved staying here so much I extended my stay! I would say the real star of this place is the excellent staff. They really go above and beyond to help you with everything you need. Special thanks to Jeed from the reception, who helped me make a dream come true by riding horseback on the beach! 🥰

Good location. Quiet (as it gets since you get blasted with the music from ArkBar anywhere in Chaweng) and still near everything you want in Chaweng. It is roundabout in the middle of the Chaweng Road where all the restaurants and shops are. Great pool Good Internet. Netflix in your room if you have your own account. AC was working fine Room was always cleaned to full satisfaction While Chaweng is really busy, this hotel is an oasis. You feel like you are in a Tropical retreat. All amentities are in the vicinity aswell as good restaurants. The big Central mall is around 5-10 minutes walk away. I would stay at Baan Samui anytime again if I will be in Chaweng. Since it was that good, I stayed more than 30 days at Baan Samui

I could only list small and nitpicky things like missing handsoap. But that none of that had any impact on my stay - so there is nothing noteworthy that I did not like.

- location is perfect. 3 min walk to Central Samui mall and many shops and restaurants. - They don’t have a fitness center but there are two big gyms across the street you can access for a small fee. - Staff are very friendly and helpful with special thanks to May at the reception for finding me a quiet room. Beach bar is swarming with staff who look after your needs. Please be generous with tips many staff get to travel back to mainland every 3 months to see their families if they make enough money!

smoking is allowed on sun loungers at pool and beach area. It gets very uncomfortable if you have many smokers around.

We really liked Baan Samui. The location is excellent - close enough (10 mins) to the great nightlife and lovely restaurants in Chaweng but tucked away, quiet, right on a lovely part of the beach. The staff were exceptional, friendly, couldn’t do enough for you - particularly Tan who runs the restaurant. Pool is nice. Restaurant good. Drinks very good. Chilled atmosphere. We enjoyed the Thai cookery course ! Really good value all round.

Breakfast was pretty average. Generally poor selection and finished too early (10am) so the kids missed it every day. Other than that - nothing at all.

Totally loved it here, not the biggest of resorts but everything about it gives you a good feeling. The staff are the best I've experienced. The room was so nice, and insulated, couldn't hear a thing outside your room at night (no club music) Pool and dining area was right on the beach front, and the beach area is the best part of Chewang Beach. Breaky buffet was excellent, food served during the day was so good as well. Baan will be my first choice whenever I visit Koh Samui 🫶🏼

Everything at Baan Samui was spot on. It’s an upper mid priced hotel and compared with other in the price range very good. Firstly the location is excellent. The hotel is right on best part of Chaweng beach. It’s also far enough away from the lively nightlife area so it’s incredibly quiet but still only a 10 minute leisurely stroll into the heart of Chaweng. The hotel is very clean and all the staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel bar / restaurant was lovely - it’s a little pricey compared with the other local restaurants but well worth the money as the quality is very high and you do have the direct sea view. The rooms are large and in very good condition. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend The Baan Samui resort.

In our opinion there are no negatives.

Went rogue on a trip to the Island and decided to stay, looked at a few places and found this, one room left. Delightful small hotel. Lovely pool, beach beautiful, next to the pool. Perfectly located on the Main Street but at the quieter end. Perfect for all types of guests. We came as a couple, would happily bring the children. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, didn’t want to leave. Really good value for money.

Rooms not big if that’s on your list, very nice though.
