I loved the self serve breakfast. I also loved the convenience of the beach and my kids loved the pool. I travel with my kids age 6 and 10 and they loved the ocean view room that we had. We went through the week so it was really quiet at night but it was a little loud on Friday being that it was the weekend but my kids are heavy sleepers and it didn’t bother me at all. I loved the sizes of the rooms and I loved that I was able to charge items from the store (on 2nd floor)to my room. I also used the laundry room being that I didnt want to travel back with dirty laundry. Overall I enjoyed my stay! Would definitely book again if I went back.

I didn’t like that the menu didn’t have more food choices for the restaurant located in the hotel.

I love the inside view of the beachfront. The room was clean, and the outside of the hotel was clean.

When I requested a late check-out, I was denied because the front desk staff informed me that the housekeepers had 90 other rooms to clean, so I couldn't stay two hours later. I did not understand what their room cleaning had to do with my staying two hours later. The alarm in the hotel when off about 5:00am and everyone in the hotel got woke up out of there sleep and I did not complain. That was the only thing I didn't like about staying late.

Brand new, lovely sized king size bed with small suite that was spacious for 2, would be tight for 3 or 4 it had sleeper sofa, nice amenities, spacious lobby with views of pool and ocean, on site restaurant was oceanfront with large open windows.

We did not know that parking on premises was an extra daily charge, it was not noted at reservation time. Valets explained that it was $30 for every 24 hours. We saw a sign that they offered daily parking for others at $15. When we checked out I asked about price difference and was told it was a special rate for a charity event that participants were not staying at hotel. Really??? Then we were told that since we had a large truck there was a surcharge of $8 per 24 hours. This small detail soured our stay.

Great location with fabulous views. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.

Pool area was lovely with comfy sun loungers but was missing sun umbrellas which meant it wasn’t possible to enjoy the sunshine or the pool area for more than fifteen minutes. It’s possible that this is the intention of the hotel to minimise the time spent there but I’d say that’s unlikely. More likely is it’s an oversight, but a rather large one in my opinion.

Location was great, overall facility was amazing, the food was so yummy!

I was not a fan of the room layout. The bathroom was in middle of room, with no separate sink/toilet area. This did make it hard to logistically get ready. Also, may have just been our luck but the balcony door wouldn't lock which caused are AC to not work correctly one of the nights. And, our luck, the noise level from the local bars was very loud into 2am.

SpringHill suites has a clean, luxury stay. The staff was very nice. The pool and bar was really nice with great staff. The veiw is amazing. The location is near lots of local restaurants on Jacksonville beach.

The breakfast food was good but more variety would be better. There could have been lids for the drinks on the breakfast bar to carry out. There could have been breakfast grits for the breakfast bar.

The location was perfect; access to the beach and local restaurants and souvenir shops; food was excellent at the hotel restaurant; pier is nearby and a must visit

The parking outside the hotel is public parking and hard to find a parking spot in the evenings; very noisy outside the hotel

Beds were comfortable. Location is nice and can be for all walks of life. Bar and food alley .

The elevator ! With only two elevators (that's housekeeping also uses) is kind of a hassle . The elevators should be on the backup generator as the hotel lost power and my wheelchair bound husband was stuck upstairs . That's a huge scare. Nasty garbage stains in front of most doors from people leaving their garbage.

Easy checkin- used the valet service which was EXCELLENT. Matt at the front desk got us a great room- so good that we extended our stay for 2 more days!

Wonderful staff (friendly and helpful) with spacious comfortable rooms. Great for working or families. Easy access to the beach and close to many restaurants.

The elevators are a bit slow. Housekeeping comes early, but they are very accommodating. The fridge is a bit small for a longer stay (don’t expect to keep anything frozen).
