All members of staff were really helpful, even went to the trouble of calling us once we had checked out to let us know we had left some belongings in the room… luckily we hadn’t travelled back down south at that point!

Breakfast ended too early. 9:30 is a bit ridiculous in my opinion, especially as a couple having a relaxing weekend away. The first day we had a really nice breakfast, but was told we had missed it on the Sunday when we checked out at 09:35 That being said, we have already booked to return for our next visit to immingham, we just won’t bother with the breakfast.

The garden room was beautiful for a christening Room was clean Nice location

Breakfast was undercooked and poorly stocked Overheard staff complaining about guests on multiple occasions one of them being our table in the restaurant For ordering desserts as they wanted to go home A few staff members came across as quite rude The room was tiny and up in the rafters so even with both windows open at the end of october it was too hot too sleep .. the bed was so uncomfortable and small Bath in the room was tiny I'm 5ft 4 and could only sit up in it Shower was to powerful for the clip it was on so kept flying off around the bathroom .. made showering difficult The meal in the restaurant wasn't the best quality burger was over cooked and dry !

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, free parking, easy to get to. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, staff were extremely helpful, polite, and professional. We were given an early check-in which was a real bonus to be able to change for a nearby wedding. Really good value for the money

Only slight downside the bathroom could do with a bit of updating and water pressure wasn't the best. Apart from that everything else was good and would definitely stay here again, it made our weekend

Lovely setting and a grand old mansion retaining its history but with modern facilities . The staff are so friendly and helpful - having visited before they were prepared for my requirements and delivered so well - carried the bags , room near the stairs , quiet table in the restaurant , accommodated my dinner guests . Plenty of parking., and daily newspapers if requested .

Very little , they do not service the room each day , but will if requested .

The hotel is in a good location, just on the outskirts of Grimsby. It was easy to find, with plenty of parking. We were able to get into our room earlier than the stated check-in time. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was just right. The ensuite bathroom was very clean. Tea/coffee making facilities were provided in the room. Breakfast was partly self-serve (toast, coffee/tea, cereal) and cooked to order. The service was quick and efficient.

You either need a car or be prepared to pay for a taxi to get to and from the hotel as it is on the outskirts of Grimsby.

most of. the hotel staff were lovely and really friendly and very welcoming. the room was very clean. Breakfast the first day was a little disapointing it was not explained very well and we didnt really read the menu properly so the choice of buffet was not up to much but maybe our fault for not reading properly. breakfast the second morning was so much better the staff sorted a table for ten of us so that we could all sit together. They explained everything to us that If we wanted fruit and meat platters or anything that was not out on the breakfast bar were made to order and i must say what a difference to our first day breakfast. the food was 100%.

The location was perfect for us, it was peaceful, plenty of parking, the staff were very welcoming and polite, the room was warm and comfortable and the hotel itself is set in beautiful gardens. Breakfast was lovely too.

Our only criticism was that the large wall mirror and dressing table mirror could do with a light above them for us ladies that have to put a face on to look presentable, but apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

The room we booked had a large comfortable bed. The room was large with plenty of storage. The only downside of the room was the shower did not have much power The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good

We were disappointed in the grounds of the hotel as the description implied you could walk around them Although it was possible to do so there were no trails or paths and the ground was very uneven

Very friendly and helpful - was made very welcome and helped when asked to carry the bags and any any special requests were not a problem eg changing some of the items on the menu .

No longer offer daily room service , but will provide anything that you my need such as extra towels or changing the rubbish bins - did miss the usual daily room service , but responded when I asked for the bin to be emptiednte

The staff were brilliant and would make special mention of the Receptionist when we arrived. This was a late booking and she looked after us and made sure we got a meal even though the hotel was very busy with a wedding. The staff in the evening who looked after us were also brilliant, especially our waiter, Harrison, and the Superviser. All were friendly but professional and efficient.
