We were over from the UK for our son's wedding at Lovedale Chapel which was a 2 minute drive away. Cessnock is 15 minutes away, which has all the shops you need. The location was stunning, and waking up every morning to dozens of Kangaroos at the bottom of the garden was magical. The property was very spacious and comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfortable and clean, as was the whole house. Everything was provided toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, cloths, and bin bags, although we had brought our own. Even fresh milk in the fridge. Mike, the owner, was at the end of a text message if we had any questions and to make sure we were happy with everything. Would highly recommend.

Our group had a great time at Englewood Ridge. Mike was easy to deal with and made us feel right at home over the 5 day stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, ample living and dining space and a very capable Weber BBQ. The pool is awesome - set against some open acreage and treated with pool salt which we preferred. We particular enjoyed walking over to Wandin estate and found their wine and hospitality some of the best in the Hunter. We had an issue with the fridge however Mike worked with us to find a solution and they have since replaced the fridge. We look forward to returning to Englewood Ridge in the future.

As it's not ducted air con - the bedrooms can get a bit stuffy on hot still days.

Absolutely amazing house to stay at in Lovedale. The property had everything you needed to be comfortable. Hosts were fantastic and the little touches definitely made you feel very welcome. The pool was amazing and had lots of use, we found lots of amazing places to visit with the help of the hosts with restaurant ideas. We are already planning our next trip. You will not be disappointed with this accommodation.

We had a fantastic stay at Englewood Estate for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Mike was an excellent host and communicated clearly through out the whole journey. The nature and wildlife around the property gave us such a surreal setting for a relaxing escape from city life. We (including our fur baby) walked around to cafes, eatery's and wineries and explored all the area had to share. Thanks Mike and Louise for your hospitality, we had a fabulous time.

Absolutely beautiful property, nothing was missed everything was top notch. Even washing liquid, body wash just everything was included. Beds comfortable, lovely scenery. Spacious living areas, loved everything about Englewood Ridge. The owners were so very helpful. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this place 👍👍

The location was great and it was wonderful to see the kangaroos in the back yard and hear the birds and frogs. It was beautifully quiet and dark. The house itself was very well equipped and the owner was helpful and responsive.

Some things in the house were a bit the worse for wear. Problems were reported to the owner who is dealing with them.

The size of the property was perfect. We loved the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of living space to spread out.

Fans with short plugs in the bedrooms. Ceiling fans would be better.

Spotless, beautiful property with ample room to relax in - all 3 generations plus a dog loved our stay! For those with dogs, the outdoor area was perfect and had good fencing (unless you have a notorious escapee). Perfect location- a short drive to nearby wineries /attractions but far enough away it felt like an escape. The host (Mike) was great with communicating and super flexible.

Main bed and pillows and linen was very comfortable, towels lovely kitchen, dining and living room great all being in one, loved the wood fire place. Great area for where we needed to be. Thank you.

The only thing would be the fry pans as they are a well used. But the rest of the home and facilities are fabulous.
