Great facilities for the extended family. Catered for all our needs including travel cot. Loved the outdoor entertaining area with BBQ and lovely views. The house was clean. Kitchen had all and more than we needed. Communication with Gillian was good - we had a couple of questions and she answered them quickly. It made our stay for our sons wedding in Lovedale super convenient.

Coming down the stairs from the carpark to the back entrance to the house was a little tricky for my elderly Mum but she managed. This may have been listed in the description of the property but it didn’t register with me.

It was in a beautiful setting. Even with the amount of rain we had it was just beautiful. Was very accommodating for the group we had. Very easy to deal with and very prompt with replies to questions. Shirt drive to absolutely everywhere.

The location of the cottage was perfect for an adventure in the Hunter Valley. It was also very private and comfortable, plus we were surrounded by wildlife e.g. Kangaroos, Horses. It was overall a great family experience, the kids loved it. So much better than staying in a boring hotel. It was a true country getaway.

Private and cosy, we really enjoyed looking over the property and beyond in the morning from the deck.

Only a personal preference but I'm quite afraid of the dark, I had to sit on the couch where I couldn't see the kitchen window, as it didn't have blinds. Blinds on those windows would feel a little safer at night :)

It was the perfect location. So peaceful and tranquil. As a group of 10 it slept us all comfortably. We were provided with firewood for the firepit and skewers to toast some marshmallows.

There are only 2 showers, as a group of 10 it was a bit tricky and we ran out if hot water the first day. There were a couple of small stains on the decorative cushions.

Gill was great assisting with info for around the area. House was clean and cool aircon thankfully!!

The cottage was quaint, clean and just what we needed. We loved the locals (kangaroos and horses) that greeted us everytime we went outside. Beautiful location

I didn’t realise there was a cabin on the property also? I must have missed that in the fine print?! When I arrived at 10:30pm the guests in the cabin were playing loud music and were quite rowdy until about 1am, think the neighbours mistook it for my and two of my guests who were chatting outside?

The cottage had beautiful views and it was great it was stocked with coffee, tea, salt and pepper and mosquito spray and coils. Gillian was very helpful. It was nice waking up to the sunrise and bird song. The fridge, cooker and bbq were great and there were DVDs and games if needed, even a fire pit.

The only thing I'd suggest is having a clearer path to the cottage entrance.
