We loved how central the accommodation was to everything we came to see, Eg, Hunter Valley Gardens & Hunter Valley Wildlife Park - both were amazing ! Also, there were plenty of wineries and restaurants to choose from nearby. They had a small grocer, deli along with a bottle shop etc at the front of the accommodation which I found very convenient. Our accommodation got upgraded from a Small to a Large 2 Bedroom and it was a lucky surprise !! When we arrived, to our amazement, it was our very own private, spacious, and cozy cottage, tucked away and surrounded by nature with beautiful views! We had a patio that wrapped around the cottage, complete with an outdoor setting, BBQ and a firepitt! Our first morning there, we had little furry visitors outside (kangaroo's) my daughter's had a really great time, and got to play tennis, which was not far from the property. Thank you for a lovely weekend away! We definitely will be back! 😃

The houses were lovely and great spaces, Had lots of great things , lots of bathrooms to accomodate all the guests, Hotel staff at the front desk were lovely.

We had 13 guests and asked for some beds to split to accomodate this many people which it did ( 5 beds split to single making 10 and 3 to stay double) however one of the rooms was really small and had the 2 beds and the room next to it was huge with onsuite but had a double bed. I personally would have put the double bed togeter in the small room as that guest would have gotten the big bed to compensate the tiny room and would then only be one persons stuff in there and the big room to have the 2 beds to compensate sharing and more room for 2 people. I had 2 guests share the double bed and one stay in the smaller room.

The location is good as there's a general store for food, groceries, a cheese shop, wine shop forming part of the Village. The King deluxe room had a lounge room separate from the bedroom so it was very spacious. This unit was very well equipped with plates, cutlery, cups, glasses, a microwave, toaster and a fridge and a freezer. The aircon/heater worked and there's a small balcony outside which gets the morning sun. The room rate was good value. Everything was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and there's a selection of pillows to choose from. Within a 5 minute walk, there's the Blaxland Inn restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant. Most of the many wineries are less than a 15 minute drive away.

Great place for a big group. We booked the 8 bedroom house but it was more like a 5 bedroom and a 3 bedroom which are separated by a car port. When we were there the hot water in the couple of bathrooms wasn’t working and once I notified them, they fixed it within an hour or so (just needed to change over the gas bottle). Very responsive & accomodating. My friend also left her AirPods there & they were very good to find them & post them back. We had a friends wedding in the hunter valley & it was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed there. Plenty of room & communal space, as well as lots of bathrooms for everyone getting ready

The cottage was perfect for a short 2 night stay in the beautiful Hunter Valley. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom/kitchen, plenty of towels and everything we needed to make a couple of meals. We loved how quiet the setting was and enjoyed watching the kangaroos early in the morning! Liked that we could drive right up to/park in front of the cottage, and the use of the pool was an added bonus. It's the perfect location to explore the area from, and it was great to have a few shops/facilities at the front of the estate too.

We arrived in the dark and signage to our cottage was a little unclear, so it took some time to find it, but otherwise no complaints.

It's a very good place to stay. Cozy and quiet. The reception staff are very smiling and cheerful people. We were very satisfied with the whole room. There is a pool and barbecue in front of the room. It's a very practical and convenient place in every way. There is a shop next to the room where you can buy all kinds of products. There is a restaurant nearby where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend this location to everyone to come and relax. I'm sure you will all be satisfied.

Everything is at the highest level. Many thanks to the entire hotel team.

Pokolbin Village is the perfect location in the Hunter Valley. It has wineries all around it. The Gardens are just up from where we stayed, and they are great for the kids with the theme parks. It also has a lovely pool and a BBQ area. Our room was just right for all our needs and very spacious. Loved our bed it to was perfect too. We loved seeing the kangaroos early in the morning feeding in the top near the car park.

I honestly cannot write down a negative for the village. I am sure when others stay there they will agree with us.

Good sized room with seperate area for sleeping, so no need to worry about the white noise from the fridge keeping me awake at night. Room 218 was the end property, so was lovely and quiet as was the location set back from the road. Had a great selection of wines in the property 4 varieties which was a nice surprise!

Fridge placement was low to the ground, so a tad hard to bend down that far. I'm fit enough for it not to be an issue, but it would be better on a platform for those less fit or they would have to go down on their knees. Could do with an extra shelf in the bathroom, as when you try to wash your dishes there is no where to place them once you've washed them out in the sink. Also there is no plug in the sink, so made it hard for hubby to do wet shave or for me to wash dishes.

Great location close to a number of wineries and places to eat, some that you can walk to. The deluxe king room had a separate lounge area which was great as we stayed in a bit because of the rainy weather. There was plenty of tea/coffee facilities. And the fridge also had a separate freezer section, so we had ice cubes (it's the simple little things that we like!) The pool was clean, but we did not use it as it was rainy when we stayed. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful when we checked in. They gave us lots of information on where we could eat, places to visit etc.

The windows had curtains but net/sheer curtains to use for privacy during the day would have be good. The windows opened onto the pool area and the car park area.

Great location but not central in wine lands - cottage was excellent- clean and neat and had everything needed. Pokolbin Village Estate has a brilliant coffee shop for breakfast, general store and bottle shop. Can also get cheeses and antipasti plates to takeaway. We walked to 2 restaurants close by - Goldfish and Blaxland Inn. Both great food. Kangaroos in the grounds & hot air balloons close by early morning. We used the pool to cool off - was ok - nobody else seems to use at all!

Carpet in bedroom was a little wrinkled/bumpy.
