The hotel is absolutely perfect for a family trip. There are plenty of water games for children, a variety of pools, and the sea is beautiful, clear, and full of colorful fish. The rooms are spacious and the service goes above and beyond, especially from Elhuseiny Ragab at the reception, who provided excellent, professional, and kind assistance throughout our stay. The food is diverse, delicious, and available at all times. The pool areas are so much fun, and the lifeguards, especially Walied Fathy & Amr Gamal, who gave outstanding, attentive service. We booked 2 rooms - one for myself and one for my brother and his girlfriend. The hotel met my request and roomed us very close together which was great. We arrived at 1.30am on the Sunday, and had the room booked from Saturday afternoon. The reception staff were very accommodating during check-in, even taking us to the restaurant to get a small snack before we were taken to the rooms! The rooms were both very spacious and clean. From what we could see, all rooms seem to have a small patio or balcony area which is perfect for a morning cuppa or an evening game! All staff were very polite and friendly - we felt they really made the effort to remember things about where we were from, how long we were staying, etc. Which is impressive considering how many people stay at once! We particularly enjoyed the aqua gym, Zumba and water polo sessions during the day from the animation team too. It was quite windy during our stay, so it was great to have free access to the mini golf and and the cycling cart. As always in holidays like this, the excursions and spa team were keen for us to book with them. We weren't interested in any excursions but felt that the team were very understanding and polite when we said no. We did book a massage with Sasi for our last day, this cost around £60 each for an aromatherapy 1 hour massage. It also included access to the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi afterwards. The different restaurants provided a variety of food - lunch and dinner options were similar each day but with a few differences which worked perfect for our group - some of us liked the consistency while others preferred to try new things! We enjoyed the sports bar in the evening, this was perfect to have a few drinks and play some card games in. We also booked a table at the White Elephant restaurant where you could order a main off the menu, we all had a lovely steak! Rooms were refreshed daily and we thoroughly enjoyed the towel animals.

From the moment we arrived at Pickalbatros Royal Moderna in Sharm El-Sheikh, we knew we had made the right choice. This hotel is simply amazing! The atmosphere, the service, the food—everything was beyond expectations. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful pools, crystal-clear waters, and perfectly maintained gardens. The rooms, while not the newest, were always clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, making sure everything was spotless every single day, which made our stay even more enjoyable. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible staff, and I have to give a special mention to Bassem Fahmy. He was an absolute gem! From the very first day, he made sure we had everything we needed, always checking in on us with a warm smile. No matter what the request was, he handled it with professionalism and kindness. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated, and we were lucky to have him as our go-to person during our stay. Thank you, Bassem, for making our trip even more special! We will definitely be coming back to Pickalbatros Royal Moderna, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect vacation in Sharm El-Sheikh.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike! If I had to mention something, the rooms aren’t the newest, but they’re spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Everything else—from the service to the atmosphere—was simply perfect.

This was our second stay at this resort and we loved it even more than the first time. The resort is perfect for a family stay, it has many different slides for all ages from 0-99, you cant get bored. Most of the pools are heated in winter which is a must for us. The reef here leaves you speechless because of so many variety of fish. The foam party and fire show are really special. There are 6 restaurants with deliscious food from all over the world. The food is high quality and so much variety that we didnt even have the time or the will to try the a la carte restaurant. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice, we never felt pressured for tips. The booking manager Luca takes time for the guests to check if everything is perfect. I am especially thankful for the best room at the resort and that we could check out late with no problems. Our room keeper Hazem was really sweet, the room was tidy and the swans with flowers he made were beautiful. There were no people selling tours/massages etc which is great. Its not crowded, you can always get a sun chair and space at the beach. We tried 5 different resorts of the same price rage in Sharm and this one is definitely our favourite because it ticks all the boxes of important things for our family. We will return next year.

Similar to all hotels in Nabq Bay: beach is extrely shallow and rocky with jetty walk over 750 Mts to reach a snorkling or swimming spot.

Excellent staff espescially Mr. Ahmad Abd el Monaem in the reception who made sure we were happy and satisfied during our holiday . We also enjoyed very much with special treatment of Lifegaurds Mustafa and Omar ( I think ) in the beach .

Please make sure you clean the public toilets in the hotel more frequently 🙏

Since it’s an all-inclusive hotel, I’ll compare it with similar ones in Turkey. First of all, in terms of price-performance, it costs almost half the price of comparable Turkish resorts. Even though we visited in April, the weather was warm enough to swim in both the sea and the pool, which was a big seasonal advantage. There’s also a heated outdoor pool, which is great. The aquapark meets expectations. The sea is different from the Mediterranean—you shouldn’t expect a sandy beach but rather a reef-filled coast where you can observe fish and corals while snorkeling. Although the hotel is right on the seafront, the water remains knee-deep for about 300 meters before reaching deeper levels, where a wonderful underwater experience awaits. The food was decent overall, and the meat dishes, in particular, were very good.

That said, compared to Turkish standards, the food variety—especially at breakfast—was limited. Not bad, just not as rich. The alcohol was the most disappointing part. It seemed like they only served the cheapest drinks. The whisky, vodka, and rum all gave me a stomachache, and I had to stick with beer instead. The evening shows and the animation team were quite weak. They do about one hour of performance in the evenings, but there’s neither excitement nor energy in them. I think the lack of an amphitheater-style setup causes the energy to scatter. The daytime animations were just as dull. As someone with a serious sweet tooth, I wasn’t really impressed with the desserts—though to be fair, I still ate them all!

The resort boasts extensive facilities, including five restaurants, a beautiful beach, and ample space. 🏖️🌊😊 Room service, maintenance, and cleanliness were exceptional. 👍🌟💯 The resort's beach area is elegant and inviting. ✨🏝️😎 The aqua park features 5 slides, some quite thrilling. 🎢💦😄 There are numerous pools, a padel court, and a fitness center. 🏊‍♀️🎾💪 Conveniently located near reception are a grocery store and a pharmacy. 🏪💊🫙The area where the resort is located (Nabq) is cozy and calm, away from noisy and crowded areas like Naama Bay. 🏖️🏡🌊

No foam parties in the pool. No DJ parties. 🚫🎤 There is a speaker next to the big pool, however, the DJ is bad and not exciting. 🙁👎 The sauna and jacuzzi are not free, which I was shocked about, as I've never been to a 5-star hotel, or even an all-inclusive resort, that charge for these services. 🤯😲 The padel court is a good addition; however, they charge 10 euros after 6 pm, while I think it should be free, as the resort cost is a little high. 🎾💰 No ice cream except after 7 pm.🍦🕒 Snack food is the same every day. 🔁😒 No sweets in the bars next to the pools. 🍬🚫 No non-alcoholic beer. 🍺🤔 To be honest, they should improve the everyday 9 pm main party, as some are boring and some are repetitive. 😴💤 Room Locker was broken.

It was our first time in Egypt. The hotel was very clean, tidy and safe. The employees were generally friendly and helpful. Even though it was full, there was no trace of the chaos of all-inclusive hotels. The location and view of our room were exactly what we wanted. The sheets were clean. There was everything we needed to feel comfortable (bathrobes, slippers etc.) Instead of comparing the food with Turkey, we preferred to taste local foods. It is surprising that short-term stayers find the food in 5 different restaurants to be poor. Even if a person stays for a month, he still can not finish the varieties. We had a drink while sunbathing under the big awnings on the beach. We used the shallowness of the sea to our advantage, sunbathing by sitting in the water in the mornings, and cooled off by diving into the water from the pier in the afternoons. We had snacks on the beach. We drank our coffee at Columbus Cafe. We enjoyed watching the shows in the amphitheater, especially belly dance and fireshow. We played minigolf. We sunbathed in the pool. We prefer to laze around instead of doing Zumba, dance, etc. 😊 We came here to relax. We achieved this too. We would like to especially thank Luca. He was there whenever we needed him. He played a big part in making our holiday so wonderful. If you have a problem, don't forget to find Luca😊We would also like to thank the housekeeper who cleaned room 502, the young man who carried our luggages and Muhammed from the reception. They made us feel at home. We plan to go the hotel again. We recommend this hotel.
