We stayed at Josephine’s for 3 nights, as we needed some down time after a couple of weeks in Perth visiting family. We definitely choose the perfect place to relax and unwind. We stayed in the ultra comfortable Napoleon Suite and it was absolutely perfect in every way, especially for couples. There is a lovely little kitchenette, with everything we needed, the best bed in Australia & a great shower. We loved that we could make our own breakfast with the delicious provisions Cheryl supplied. She even left some cheese and port for guests to enjoy in the library in evening. Too many special touches, all very thoughtful and made for a perfect stay. The accommodation is very well situated, just 1 block back from the Main Street in Margaret River, so it was lovely and quiet, just a nice stroll into town. I really cannot say enough good things about Josephine’s. Cheryl is a wonderful, friendly host who is an expert in hospitality. Josephine’s must surely be the best place to stay in the town of Margaret River. Oh and then there was the bread, delivered daily! Sorry Cheryl 😉.

What a charming little spot! It had everything we needed, including all the little extras. Cheryl was a wonderful hostess, and we truly felt taken care of. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the shops and town. The main lounge had some lovely touches, like cheese and biscuits and port in the evenings, which made it extra special.

I did find the pillows a bit tricky—one was too high and the other too low, but that's a minor issue and I'm quite particular about my pillows. I probably should've just brought my own. I did miss having some outdoor space or larger windows for fresh air, though I completely understand the limitations

Josephine Luxury Accommodation is a charming, B&B-style property with beautifully decorated rooms, each featuring a unique theme. The check-in process was seamless, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like coffee, bread, and cheese provided during our two-night stay. The onsite parking is conveniently located right outside the building. The location is another highlight—situated next to a large supermarket, excellent restaurants, and plenty of shops within walking distance. It’s incredibly convenient for exploring the area without needing to drive far.

While the rooms are beautifully maintained, the one we stayed in felt a bit small for travelers with larger luggage, requiring us to transfer items to the wardrobe. The bathroom, though nice, lacked a vanity table, which made managing toiletries challenging for us as heavy travelers. Additionally, room sizes vary, so it’s worth checking dimensions before booking if space is important to you. The communal area outside the rooms is a nice touch, but it comes with usage time limits that may not suit all guests.

Josephine’s Luxury Accommodation was beautiful, comfortable and clean. I stayed in the Victorian Room which was great. The decor is thoughtfully chosen for each themed room. There’s everything you need in the room and on site parking. It’s central to Margaret River main street, restaurants & Woolies. You can walk everywhere. Host Cheryl was wonderful, very helpful & friendly. A lovely touch was giving guests freshly cooked hot sourdough daily. I highly recommend this lovely place. Nothing. It was wonderful.

Just wow! The room was beautiful and well kept. The mini kitchen and bathroom was clean and literally felt brand new. The owners really take pride in maintaining the property. We didn't opt for the breakfast but our room still came with a loaf of bread, jams, butter, nespresso pods and a Breville Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother. The fridge had water, juice and milk! It is just a short walk away from the main street and just next door to the supermarket.

The rooms aren't very sound proof and you can hear people talking in the corridor or the next room. But everyone (when we were there) was considerate and quiet after hours.

We had an incredible stay at Josephine's and loved the Victorian themed room we stayed in. It was impeccably clean and maintained and is a credit to the owners/operators. Often properties look tired after time but this was definitely not the case. It was also nice and quiet. The complementary continental breakfast items (local wood fired bread - yummm) were great for a bite to eat in the morning as well as coffee from the Nespresso machine, before heading out for the day. The fruit bowl and chocolates in the communal lounge were also welcomed at the end of the day when returning home a little peckish. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the port on offer each night. We will definitely return to try out the other themed rooms.

We loved everything

I loved our stay at Josephine’s 🥰 we stayed in the Napoleon room which was exquisite. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Cheryl our host made us feel very welcomed and supplied freshly baked bread daily which was delicious. There was a common sitting area that was an unexpected plus. Plenty of on-site parking and walking into town was easy and convenient. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return 💯

Sometimes elaborately furnished rooms look better in photographs and in reality hide a multitude of sins. This was most definitely not the case here, and beyond the entertaining decor, there was a very comfortable and well appointed room. The room also included a small kitchen area which was well stocked (and restocked) for all ones breakfast needs, and Cheryl was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations.

The weather could have been better, but otherwise there really was nothing to dislike.

We loved everything about our stay in the “Victorian” guest suite. Wonderful king size bed with luxurious linens, excellent breakfast with fresh bread and so many thoughtful touches. Cheryl is an amazing host, offering great ideas for dining and visiting the wineries. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here if you are visiting Margaret River

Cheryl is a perfect host. She helped me with things that I need (e.g., I said I would like a banana and she got me a banana <3) and even coordinated taxi bookings for me (bear in mind this is Margaret River and taxi is not that easy to come by). A shoutout to Michael, who somehow became my private driver (i.e., all 3 times I took a taxi, it was him). The location is very convenient for shopping for food and going to restaurants.

My room is a bit dark.
