First thing into the lobby Omi was a bright spot to a long day. He was professional and very friendly. He greeted me with a smile and check-in was a breeze. He asked me my preference for which floor. Also, while assisting me he was able to help a guest having trouble with their wi-fi. Great multi tasking. Upon check out I got the SAME Omi smiling and professional. He is a definite asset to Red Roof Plus. We’ll be back Red Roof Galveston.

The rooms were much more updated and larger than we expected and quite clean. I prefer to use my own pillows and towels but that is my own personal choice not a reflection of the property.

Property was fine great price for the stay friendly office staff liked the location and the room was fine I’ve stayed at this property before it was red roof and it was bad ( a rat jumped out of the dresser drawer) This wasn’t bad for the most part.

Well upon getting out of the shower I was about Tao climb into bed and told not to as both beds had hair under comforters and looked like stains and on the pillows in the pillow cases the pillows looked moldy? We covered pillows with shirts and slept on top the covers w/o blankets . Plus from my hubby who likes it super cold our a/c worked great for him I on the other hand froze didn’t ask for another room as we were very late checking in (past midnight) and no point we were leaving early on.

It says it's "beachfront", but it's not on the beach and not on the main road of the beach either. I actually thought I was renting a room at the other end of the island. It's close to the beach, but I really wanted to walk out the back to sand. No mini breakfast only purchase options (I think) and morning only coffee, but no lids, so I couldn't take it and go and I was in a hurry. The night clerk was super nice, hence why I'm being nice about it. I'd probably stay there again. The patrons were genuinely good people.

That it wasn't beachfront and no mini breakfast, no lids for coffee. But seriously, if the night clerk hadn't been so nice, I'd probably be unhappy about the coffee situation.

The location was very convenient to July 4th events, the beach, and some restaurants.

I thought from the description it was right on the beach. It’s called Red Roof Plus beachfront. It’s across the street and behind another hotel. The view of the ocean was okay from the window, but it was over a parking lot, a street, in between buildings. The front desk was a little curt. When asked about where to go see the parade and fireworks, he gave me the wrong information. Said it was in a totally different area, when it turned out to be right out front of the hotel by the beach.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't expect a 5 star resort; especially as affordable as it is. I was looking for a comfortable place to sleep that was safe and relatively cheap. It was clean and it served it's purpose. The size of the room was surprisingly large.

My only "complaint" is that it said it was on the beach. Its not on the beach. It's 2 streets away from the beach. I was a little disappointed but all in all it was a decent place to stay and the front desk addressed any issue I had.

Everything was pretty much fine good and pool was nice beds were nice shower bathroom or also nice

I didn't like how I couldn't see what I was watching on TV to determine what channels I wanted to watch also there are pictures on y'all's website shows that y'all serve like orange juice and things like that but you don't actually have it as well as all those chairs in the picture for eating breakfast and morning but they don't serve breakfast or anything like those drinks but I will say for the price it is is still worth it

Seawall is a few minutes' walk away, and great local eateries were within a half mile drive. The staff was super nice and knowledgeable about the island. Area is really quiet. The shower was hot and the A/C was cold. You can feel the gulf breeze and even feel it's spray at times. Being able to bring our dog, the room opening to the parking lot made it easier on her as opposed to walking through a hotel and using elevators. They have an elevator, but we stayed on the 1st floor. Did I mention, the beach was right around the corner!

Room very clean and front desk staff (owner/manager?) very kind & pleasant. Wonderful to have a dog friendly hotel option so close to the beach. Rooms spacious & bed comfortable.

Tiny towels and no one checked any of the 4 days we were there to see if we needed anything refreshed in our room. I only got clean towels by tracking down the housekeepers & taking dirty towels to front desk. Rooms are spacious BUT so much negative space, could definitely benefit from a table or couch.

The room was very clean, it was a nice room.

Got the premium kimg room with sea view had a Great view of ocean your only one road off the seawall walking distance to the beach and a few local restaurants bed was pretty comfortable we traveled with our pug and he stayed free no extra charge for first pet staff was friendly was pretty quiet great vacation spot that won't break the bank like a lot of the hotels and motels around same area with no view
