The reception staff were great...Reme and Masha and the guy that gave us restaurant recommendations on our last night ( we didn't get his name sorry) were excellent...very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The bed was super comfortable and the room was in general well kept by housekeeping. However some days there was a feeling that more attention needed to be paid to the sink area and how guests toiletries are rearranged post cleaning. Shower is fab.

The spa did not feel welcoming. Advising reception to turn the spa on before you want to use it doesn't work. The spa area needs to be reimagined. Because of this there is no confidence in the possible quality of the massage you may get so we didn't book any. All fruit should be covered at breakfast..there are lots of flies.

Great location and very responsive staff. They helped us with train tickets and advice on the area. We stayed three nights. The bar was quiet and the sommelier knowledgeable. Our room had a separate elevator and a terrace with a hot tub. The room was spacious and the decor fun.

The seating in the room was not comfortable. It could really use a chair or two with a back and not so low to the ground. The outdoor chairs, while stylish, were not comfortable.

Bar closing at 10pm in a 5 star hotel is fairly poor, returning to the hotel at 1015, hoping to get a drink to enjoy on the terrace and being told there’s nothing can be done is not what you expect from a 5 star hotel charging the prices they do €10 for a 75cl bottle of “filtered” water also very poor

Lovely hotel. We had the 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor of the main building which was perfect for family trip with older children. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only small negatives were that the water pressure for the shower wasn’t particularly good and whilst the breakfast was fresh the selection (particularly of hot items) was not the best. Also the small pool in the spa area was not heated which was disappointing as we could not use it.

This hotel is immaculate & in a fantastic central location, with truly amazing staff who ensure the highest levels of customer service. My husband had a special birthday during our stay & the hotel went above & beyond to ensure we had the best time - starting with a room upgrade. An invitation to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine together with room decorations & a small gift on his actual birthday made the stay truly memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

The hotel was fantastic, the concierge was waiting to take our car to park, we were early for check in but this wasn’t a problem. Our suitcases were taken and sorted whilst we went for lunch, the staff on reception gave us multiple recommendations for restaurants. On our return our room was ready and the staff ensured the sauna and steam room were running so we could use the facilities. Nothing was too much for the staff, thank you for our wonderful stay!

Wonderful room in a really chic hotel. We also had a hot tub on our terrace which was a great novelty. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and right in the heart of downtown, making exploring very easy. I would definitely return to this hotel if coming back to Bordeaux.

The selection of food available at breakfast could be better. I travelled with my 8 year old daughter and there were limited things she could eat.

The staff were every professional, from the ment we arrived they were always at our disposal. A tour of the hotel, history, and facilities. Our room was excellent, it was our anniversary and they had decorated it for us. A welcome voucher for a free drink of wine upon arrival also. The mini bar was stocked, and we were not charged for using items inside as this was included on the price. It honestly felt like a new home. The breakfast was lovely plenty of variety and lots of space. The property called dust a couple of days before arrival to check on us and if we had plans. They helped organise a reservation at a very prestigious resteraunt locally. Honestly, you couldn't find a fault with such amazing and honest service. We will definitely be back. Thanks, everyone.

Great location, lovely decor, clean and comfortable room, excellent service and very friendly helpful staff. Nice little touches such as coffee maker, fridge with some soft drinks and snacks included. The little pool and thermal facilities were also nice to relax after a day of sightseeing. I would stay here again 🤗

Only one small comment - If you didn't go down early for breakfast there was less choice which didn't seem to be topped up. Was a little disappointed some mornings not to get what I wanted to eat.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Loved our room (with jacuzzi terrace) and loved all the extra touches - complimentary soft drinks minibar, snacks, fruit, wine and canelles! Breakfast buffet was fantastic, plenty of variety, and served until 1030, which was very welcome! Superb central location, easy to walk everywhere. We didn't use the spa & hammam as we had our own jacuzzi :)
