What a stunning resort and fabulous service . We arrived early for check in ,as we wanted to see if we could leave our bags at reception . George informed us our accommodation was ready to check in . He was so helpful and knowledgeable of area . The property is beautiful kept , clean and in a beautiful location . Our room overlooked the water so the views were so beautiful. The pool and spa so clean . We stayed in the penthouse and the on roof spa was fabulous, we were able to spend time up there and enjoy the sun . The furnishings in room were newish , beds super comfortable and apartment spotless .

Nothing .. it was perfect ..

Our visit started off with meeting the lovely George at reception who was very friendly and welcomed us to waves. We went up to our room and WOW!!! From the second we opened the door, we were blown away! A spectacular view out over the water and a modern interior, very spacious and comfortable and a huge balcony to enjoy the view. The rooms were very clean and we loved the touches like the handwritten note and little chocolates that were waiting for us on the beds. The staff and residents were incredibly friendly and the building was within walking distance of so many shops, restaurants and bars.

The carpet in the lounge had some wear and tear and could use a refresh. The curtains in the main bedroom were slightly dirty but couldn’t be seen unless pulled completely out.

Property was lovely. Close to Ocean Street for the night vibes plenty of restaurants and bars to having Woolworths right across the street and the Sunshine Plaza so close. Staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Angela and Sophie were so lovely on check in made us feel very welcomed. We had a big group 12 people. The two three bedroom rooms we had were a great size very roomy. Everything you needed in the kitchen. It is in the small details that made our stay so wonderful, down to the chocolates on the towels and the lovely handwritten welcome message. Highly recommend !

Perfect location for singles, couples and families. Short walking distance to supermarket, coffee shops, nightclubs, restaurants, clothing stores, chemist, arcade and the Maroochy River. Nice, easy walk along the waterfront to Cotton Tree where there were more coffee shops. The accommodation is modern, clean and quiet. Beds were comfy. The view from our apartment was magical. The Managers were kind and helpful. We loved the little chocolate surprises on our beds :)

Nothing at all.

The view was amazing. Plenty of space for the kids and plenty of activities close by. Sea Life only a 15min drive. Big Top across the road with a woolies and Cirqu Electriq (arcade, holey moley and strike bowling) with Sunshine Plaza on the other side of it. The pool was open 7am-9pm so plenty of swims and spa sessions were had. Ducted air con in the apartment meant nice cool conditions to retreat to on the hot days. Overall very satisfying stay. Will definitely be booking for next year's family holiday.

The location and view are incredible. Spending time in the room and enjoying the view from the comfortable lounge and beds was just as much fun as getting out and exploring the beaches. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The heart of Maroochydore is at your doorstep with so many restaurants to choose from and a large shopping centre a few minutes walk away.

The free Wi-Fi was very slow and inconsistent and overall not really usable. This wasn't a big problem though as we just used mobile data. Unfortunately it meant we could not take advantage of the room's smart TVs to use streaming services or YouTube, so we jut enjoyed the view instead.

Excellent location! Close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants but quiet. The view was gorgeous and being able to launch kayaks and fish from the private jetty was a big highlight for me. The surrounding water is sheltered and makes for great swimming and paddle craft exploring.

Very hard to fault this place. The only thing I'd note was the lack of water pressure in the toilets and taps. Sometimes the toilet wouldn't flush and you'd have to try again after 30 seconds or so.

Everything at Waves Maroochydore is perfect. From the stunningly beautiful ocean views, the beautifully appointed apartments, to the friendly and professional hosts Angela and George. We stay in a lot of places along the SE Qld coastline and would easily rate Waves as a 10/10

Having to leave!

The location was spectacular. The view on one side was absolutely breath taking of the beach and mountains to left . The apartment was clean, very spacious homely and luxurious all in one. Each bedroom had a balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of Sunshine Coast. The kitchen was beautiful. My favourite was the spa bath with window view to bedroom setting extra characteristics to the superior three bedroom apartment on level 8. The apartment is located across the road from Woolworths and a lot of other convenient stores as well as Archie brothers which was fun for the family. Also a lot of beautiful restaurants and bars are in walking distance.

Leaving 😅
