Amazing place. We have never been received so well by the owners of a hotel anywhere, they were just like friends ;) Very cozy spot, we felt at home in the hotel as if it were our second house. Hotel located in a very good location, everything within walking distance is very easy to do. We rented a very large apartment for a very good price, supposedly without a sea view but we could still see it from the window and from the terrace, but there is also the option to rent with a direct sea view from the terrace. Very neat, clean, definitely great with kids if you need a bit more space (hallway, bathroom with shower and toilet, living room with a very well-equipped kitchen - you will find everything you need to prepare a meal and a bedroom) We have nothing to complain about, I can even say - too cheap for what you get ❤ But keep it that way, we will definitely come back to this hotel. We stayed at Achilleas for about 8 days and had a wonderful experience. Our room was spotless, with a stunning sea view and a spacious balcony where we enjoyed every sunset. The staff and owners were incredibly kind and always ready to help. They even brought us an iron when we needed one, which was a nice touch. When our ferry got canceled, they quickly arranged another room for us at a very fair price — we really appreciated their support. The hotel is perfectly located, just steps away from the Bodrum ferry port, which made everything super convenient. We truly felt at home here, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

This was our second visit to Achilleas, and we really enjoyed it! We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. The self-catering facilities were good, and there was plenty of room to relax in. The air con wasn't working, but the hotel got maintenance in to fix it immediately, so no complaints from us! We really enjoyed the sea view from the balcony, watching the ferries to Turkey coming and going each day. The hotel has a good lift, which makes it really accessible (just 1 step to get into the building). We were grateful for the ability to leave our luggage at the hotel before the room was ready to check in, and to leave our luggage there for a few hours after we checked out. Achilleas is perfectly placed for Kos town. It is just past the left hand corner of the harbour, so you have easy access to the bars and restaurants there, but the street it is on is full of fish tavernas, and the best Chinese restaurant in Kos town (Twin Dragon) so that's a big bonus too. Further up the street you will find Jacksons bar (cocktails and live music) and the Sunburnt Arms (British food and lovely staff), both of which provide free sunbeds if you want easy access to the beach. For trips to Turkey, the ferry terminal is on the doorstep. Do not be put off by the budget price of this hotel. It has better facilities than many of the more expensive options around the harbour (we have tried them!), and both the location and the staff at the hotel make it a great place to stay. We will be back!

There isn't anything we don't like about the Achilleas hotel! Note that it is about a 20 minute walk from the main ferry terminal (for Greek island hopping etc). Don't drag your luggage around the harbour in the heat of the day - book a taxi!

Large apartment with excellent view of the sea, port and harbour. We were lucky to be on the 3rd floor end apartment. This gave excellent views from the balcony as well as a side view of the harbour itself. Lots of activity to see with boats and ferries coming and going. The apartment it self was large with a seperate kitchen area and sofa. Friendly manager of the apartment who allowed us to access the apartment earlier in the day and we also arranged a late check out.

The apartment could have been a little bit cleaner, particularly in the kitchen area, but nothing bad. The bedroom and bathroom areas were very well kept.

Spacious apartment, separate kitchen from bedroo. large terrace that spreads across the flat length. Location very central. Plenty of shops and bars in the street, and looking onto port. Close to main bus station, walking distance. Close to the beach. Host helpful, provided buses timetables, and storage for bags after check out

It can be noisy at night as our apartment was looking onto the street. Didn't get keys upon checking in, or found anyone at reception, late in the evening 10pm, which was inconvenience considering one key is needed for the lights. System could be improved

Spent a week here with my husband. Excellent location and fantastic views over the sea to Turkey. Lovely to watch the boats arrive and depart during the day and stargaze at night (even saw some shooting stars!). Beach, a bunch of restaurants and stores are within walkable distance. We liked to spend our beach days at Lambi Beach a bit further from the crowds and it took around 10-15 minutes to walk there. The room was pretty big and the bed was quite comfortable, altough it’s two single beds pushed together instead of a queen/king. We stayed in the highest floor, you can take a tiny 2-person elevator there or climb 66 stairs. Good space to store and hang your clothes in the closet, plenty of hangers. A large drying rack in the balcony.

Air conditioning worked well but it was very loud and you couldn’t really adjust the fan speed to be in quiet mode at night, so we needed to use earplugs every night. It was too hot in August to not have it on. There was no kettle and only one fork, which was a bit odd. Two spoons and two knives though, as well as plates and pots and other cookware, even a bread grill. You could boil water on a stovetop which solved our missing kettle problem. We found the place clean enough, altough there were some stains here and there on the walls and dust in the corners etc. but that did not bother us. All in all would definitely stay here again!

Just outside the ferry port, on the sea front. Very welcoming at check in. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Close enough to main town 5 mins walk, but far enough away from the crowds to make it relaxing Everything in the apartment you need for cooking small snacks should you wish to stay in. Bed comfortable, plenty of water for showers at a good pressure, air-conditioning worked superb if you followed advice given on check in. Nothing seems to be any trouble, rooms recently renovated to a good standard, other plus was the elevator.

Firstly, it's a budget hotel. Don't expect wonderful facilities, food, designs etc. It's a perfect choice for travelers. Location is amazing, directly in the center. You can stay here and walk in Kos center or enjoy the rest of the island and beaches if you have a car. Room was bit old and not perfect design wise. But other than that, it was clean and functional. View is amazing, balcony is directly seeing the Egean see. 👌 Staff is super kind and acknowledged. Paris gave us wonderful suggestions, helped about everything we need. Most probably, I will choose here again in my next Kos trip.

It was a perfect 10, a very rare rating coming from us, given we have stayed hundreds of nights in dozens of apartments in so many countries and can always think of ways to improve. Surprised at why it is only 8.5. Paris (owner/manager) has thought of everything in designing the apartments. We stayed in 1st floor A5 (not seaview, although it did have partial sea views from balcony as well as from the kitchen window. There are 3 floors & 6 apts per floor. No false advertising, you get more than promised. Great location, right next to ferry port for Bodrum (and ~10 min walk along the Bay to other greek island ferries), close to restaurants, bike/car rental, beach, etc. Elevator in building, large apartment with separate bedroom, balcony, lot of surfaces to store/place you luggage/belongings. Very clean, decent pots & pans, plates, cups, etc, water bottles, friendly host, renovated bathroom.

Nothing. It really was so great that we extended our stay in Kos for a 3rd night!

Achilleas Hotel is a wonderful facility closest to the Ferry border gate on the island of Kos. Starting and ending the day in its rooms overlooking the sea are the best moments of the holiday. The facility is spotlessly clean and very close to all kinds of touristic spots, beaches, ports and markets. We have stayed at our home in Achilleas on the island of Kos many times with my wife and family.
