Lovely location, lovely room. Big bathroom. Kettle,coffee maker,fridge and microwave in room. Large tv, comfy chairs and a small dining table, really ideal! Peter is lovely too. Nice view of a windmill from window. Close to shops and nice bars and restaurants. Only 25mins from Rotterdam station.

One of the sheets was a bit wobbly and not nice to lie on, but as staying alone, I simply switched beds. The room i stayed in was up 2 steep flights of stairs, not easy with a suitcase. Be aware although called a b&b this is room only!

Lovely location! Large apartment with lots of space, close to shops but quite. The washing machine was an added bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner for our stay. We were very grateful to Peter telling us about parking just a couple of minutes away. Be careful if you do not have a local debit card and choose to park in the shopping car park close by as we were stuck in there unable to pay until a helpful local helped out by paying with his card!

Nothing really except it was closed when we arrived and not having international roaming on our phone we had to rely on another shop owner to contact Peter to let us in. Having said that it wasn’t an issue and he was there within a couple of minutes.

Beautiful historical house with a spacious rooms. There is even a small kitchen (without oven, but with the microwave). View is to the old cute historical houses. Room has a temperature control and was become warm really quick. Internet is good, there are at least 2 power outlets, so it was enough for work. The neighbourhood is charming, and really chill and calm since is's a pedestrian street and there are no cars. Train and tram connection to the Rotterdam city are great. There are 2 supermarkets around.

Public transport doesn't work from the midnight till 6:00 most of the days and 7:30 on Sunday. On the bright side, trains always work and it's just 15 minutes walking distance from the train station. Also on Sunday almost everything is closed there. On the bright side, supermarkets are still working

My room was actually a whole one bedroom apartment spread over two floors with a lounge and kitchen as well, so loads of space. Only downside was the noisy heating which gurgled a lot at night. The place is also on a high street so expect people walking nearby. No traffic noise though. There is a church nearby which chimes the hours until quite late and early. Bring ear plugs. Good value, would stay again.

Excellent self contained accommodation with washing machine and dryer in a perfect location. Apartment is up stairs on 1st Floor with bedroom and bathroom upstairs in the apartment. We were able to securely store our touring bicycles very nearby for .50€ per day. Easy walking to local restaurants and supermarket. Peter was a fantastic host, simple checkin and great communication. On bikes it was a great base for us to explore. Highly recommended.

The location in an old town with everything you could need on the doorstep was perfect. Interesting shops, supermarkets, ATM, beautiful canal and windmills, not forgetting the chocolate factory and vending machine. Plus easy access without having to change trams or metro to Rotterdam. Absolutely perfect. The rooms were capacious and beautiful too. We will definitely be back.

To be really picky, a plug on both sides of the bed would be handy.

The location was lovely, just a few metres away from several good restaurants and the scenic canals of Schiedam centre. I was travelling by bicycle and my host, who was very welcoming and helpful, provided a safe place to store it overnight. The room was large and comfortable with lots of character, I particularly liked the exposed beams and the sash windows.

The refrigerator was quite noisy but as I wasn't using it I switched it off. The only other issue was nothing to do with the apartment but, unfortunately, the external alarm on the museum building just down the street was going off for several hours into the night.

I had overall a very nice stay here, the rooms were interestingly and modernly designed, everything was clean and functioned properly. I found the breakfast though, somewhat unsatisfying given the relatively high price of this bed and breakfast. The breakfast was very minimal, cheap and untasty bread, bad coffee and just not the kind of breakfast I’d expect here and for this money. Also one should note that some of the rooms are on the 2 floor (high floors, so feels more like 4th floor) and there is no elevator. With heavy luggage that’s no fun. But on the whole, lovely place in a wonderful location!

It was quiet, clean and comfortable. We lived in the attic with a wonderful view of the roofs and the museum. The apartment has everything you need. It was very cozy and I barely forced myself to go out and see the sights😆😆

If it matters to anyone. There is coffee, but it is instant, we brought our own ground and brewed it in a cup. There is shower gel, but bring your own shampoo.

The very large two bedroom apartment is great for a longer stay. A fully stocked kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, cooktop, oven and microwave make this apartment a great place to prepare your own meals. Close to public transport, a ten minute walk from the train station with many restaurants, museums, grocery store and local cafes in the area. Nice and quiet at night and very comfortable beds too.
