This hotel is really lovely. A little gem in Phnom Penh. The building is absolutely stunning. The rooms are lovely - nice pool area. Great location. Good breakfast.

What really tainted our experience, was the fact that the hotel allows outside guests at the pool area. The hotel was already busy as it is and the pool crowded enough. However on both days, when we tried to relax at the pool in the afternoon, there was a group of german and french expats. They really crowded the pool area and it was a bad vibe: Drinking heavily, talking loudly, smoking in the pool! Some people really have no manners. I think the pool should be exclusively for guests, that is what we pay for.

We liked Spa, dining beside the swimming pool, swimming, incredibly friendly staff, two separate restaurants - beside the swimming pool and La Pergola restaurant. We felt like being in the Jungle as the resort has many palms and this makes our stay very relaxing, refreshing and enjoyable. Every employee was very friendly and greeted us with smiles on their faces every time we met them. I can say they really like what they do and it's clearly visible. Lobby is absolutely breathtaking with Mandalas on the walls and a pond with fish. We enjoyed Spa and La Pergola restaurant offers a unique dining experience.

There was nothing what we did not like. Everything was perfect. We felt very welcoming from the beginning. I sent a picture when enjoying my breakfast beside the pool to my work manager saying "I'm already in Heaven" :) :) :)

Really liked t his hotel. It is wondefully located. Easy to walk to the riverside, or other parts of Phnom Penh as well as catch tuk tuks as needed. The food was great. Breakfast was delicious and different and plentiful. The meals I had for dinner were great, the highlight being the French fusion restaurant on the second floor. Staff were always friendly and full of information. The grounds themselves were tranquil feeling and restful, with plenty of spaces to claim and call your own.

Two things I would change. The happy hour is not great, with only beer being available. Most other places at least had cocktails on happy hour. The second is that my room had this constant hum that could be hear, whether the ac was on or not. After a while I got used ot it and was able to sleep, but it was tough.

The property is beautifully maintained and a tranquil space in the center of the bustling Phnom Penh. The staff are attentive and offer impeccable service. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of Asian and Western food options, and of course plenty of fresh fruit. Laundry service was quick though it did slip past the 6 p.m. estimated timeline.

I did have mosquitos in my room that bit me, especially when I slept. Just one bite each night, and I do see the property has a mosquito pesticide treatment once a week. Did not ruin my appreciation for my stay but one quibble.

It was a beautiful hotel in a great location. Spacious and clean bedrooms and public areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast time and in the hotel restaurants at lunchtime and in the evenings was superb. We stayed for a few nights at the start of our holiday and again at the end after a visit to Siem Reap, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on both occasions. We would highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Phnom Penh. It is a haven of peace and tranquility in a busy city, situated close to all the main attractions and great value for money too.

The only minor thing is that the swimming pool is quite small if you are someone who likes to relax by the pool rather than going out and sightseeing like we did. It was nice to have a cooling dip at the end of a hot day though.

Very nice hotel with attentive staff, good breakfast buffet, the pool area is nice and they also have a cafe area with AC from which people can telework. The room was very spacious and had all basic necessities. Overall the hotel has a very nice vibe, and is also very well located.

The only 2 bad points for me were that the room had a constant quite strong smell of humidity/sewage coming from the bathroom area, as noted by other travellers. It’s unpleasant but since everything else is good, not a huge deal. The other point is that the room I got was quite dark during the day despite the big windows, because it had no direct exposure to sunlight, but also not a big deal in itself and it probably helped keep the room not too hot as the temperatures outside are very high this time of the year

It didn’t look like a hotel from the outside and we were delighted with what greeted us when we walked through the big wooden doors. There is a pool full of fish in the main courtyard area before you get to reception where we received a warm welcome and some cool towels and drinks - much needed after our long flight and the heat. Our hotel room was spacious, comfortable and clean, as were the other facilities. It has several dining areas - breakfast by the swimming pool, another bar/food area in the central courtyard and an upstairs restaurant where we ate twice during our stay. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed at the hotel once at the start of our holiday and then again at the end after a visit to Siem Reap - a total of a week. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phnom Penh as it is very well situated and reasonably priced.

Plantation Urban Resort was an unexpected, pleasant surprise! We were amazed at the gorgeous entrance way, with the beautiful koi pond and fantastic art (some of which was for sale). On arriving, our bags were whisked away by their door staff, and we were ushered in and served cool drinks and cold compresses (for the 38 degree heat) while the front desk completed our check in. Really great experience and first impression, kudos to the entire welcome team! The hotel is quite large, with several multi-story blocks available. Our room in the third block was quite spacious, with a very nicely appointed bathroom, toilet and shower. We slept very comfortably in the large queen-size bed. The WiFi was also great, so we could catch up on shows. Breakfast was buffet-style beside the pool, and was of a sumptuous variety, with both Western and Asian menu options. For our one-night visit, we felt quite pampered and pleased with this choice, and it definitely will be on our list when we return to Phnom Penh.

The only challenge is that because the hotel is deceptively large, getting to the third and fourth blocks is a bit of a walk from the reception. However, there are elevators on all the blocks, making the upper floors less of a challenge.

Beautiful hotel with stunning lobby and swimming pool. We ate in the poolside restaurant which was v good. The breakfast was exceptional - one of the best I've had across the world. The rooms were spacious and clean (a bit lacking in personality). We loved the lobby with the fish which my kids enjoyed feeding using the food provided. Good location next to Royal Palace and short walk to riverside area. We didn't really like Phnom Penh very much but that wasn't the hotels fault!

Not enough hot water, we could manage 1 shower before the water went tepid. Not ideal.

The choice of which cabana you want: there are those which are close to the pool and you could just step into the pool from your private cabana which has 2 lounges and a fan plus an outlet to recharge your Ipad/phone: but the best is always the staff who attend to your needs: from Senior agent Mr. Sopha Phan , Oun Soknea and Oun Srey Nimol at the front desk who always are there to make sure your requests are listened to and accomplished to the pool staff: the towel/maintenance Oun Sophal, pool restaurant staff: Oun Sreyleak, Sreylin, Sreyni, Prorpey, Oun Sai: all of these deserve to be mentioned because they gave EXCELLENT SERVICE! Ahh: I do wish there was a separate pool for the kids: while I do appreciate that the pool there is the perfect depth for the kids, if you are going for a staycation time, away from the noise and bustle of the city, it can be too noisy and the families take over the pool so the time to go into the pool was limited: however seeing this from the first day, I chose to go into the pool quite early to avoid the enthusiastic play time!
