Our room was very comfortable and modern.The bed was comfortable as was the couch. It was wonderful to be able to sit on the balcony and relax whilst taking in the view of the pool and the sea. The room had everything we needed apart from a tea towel. The staff at the restaurant were brilliant, they couldn't be more helpful and ran around trying to find things that needed to be restocked. The restaurant meals were also tasty. Loved the cocktails.

I don't know about management as I could never find anyone to help me. When I rang the phone number to get the WiFi password the guy was absolutely rude. The pool was beautiful but it could have been cleaned by a pool vacuum as there was grass and cups on the bottom of the pool. There were a few chairs and tables around the pool but it would have been nice to have a few pool lounges.

The location is perfect, our Ocean view room overlooked the beautiful green grass and the ocean. The Resort is quiet and peaceful, the pool was amazing ! There were 3 of them. One huge pool, a smaller shallow kids pool and a warmer pool. The cocktails were delicious and happy hour went for 2 hrs with half price drinks. We had a room up top on the 2nd floor. It was spacious and clean. There were 3 birthday parties while we were there. It would be a great place for a Wedding too

The bar closed on Sunday after happy hour and wasn’t open at all on Monday.

The rooms are huge with new comfy beds and furniture - a good sized fridge, not quite full sized but much bigger than a bar fridge so perfect for a four night stay. The view is incredible - the ocean is mere steps away from our balcony and even with heavy rain for a couple of days it was stunning. The location was perfect to launch out to Eimeo Pacific Hotel, Eungella and Cape Hillsborough.

I was a bit disappointed that there was no wifi in the rooms. They offer it at the pool but we weren't going to go down just to use wifi. We just hot spotted from our phones but wifi is a pretty standard at most hotel accommodation so not sure why it's not offered in-room. Hot water was sporadic too. Took a while to heat up and patchy at best.

Our room was right beside the pool, but thanks to some excellent garden planting our room was fairly quiet. The room was very comfortable albeit a bit cramped but it served our purpose very well. The pool was lovely, plenty of room for several families to enjoy. We enjoyed a very nice meal in the restaurant one evening.

If the bar counter remained open all day during a busy school holiday period, it would have been easy to get cool drinks for the children.

The view of the beach from the balcony was great. The pool was huge and very clean. This property text me to let me know the room was ready and it was well before the normal check in time. I was given information I requested about which rooms were upgraded and the property booked me one according to my preference. The lady at reception the following day was very friendly and helpful.

The guy at reception barely looked away from his computer like it was inconvenient for him to greet a guest with any polite acknowledgment. Not a good first impression really. He wasn’t particularly interested when we left either barely looked away from his phone . A simple smile and wave or something wouldn’t have been that hard surely.

Loved the pool, it was great to be able to swim late as the days were long and hot. close to the beach even though its rocky look good. and very quiet. the canteen, restaurant was good too. Breakfast beside the pool than a swim was excellent.

besides the pool and little table inside the restaurant area, there was no play area for the kids. for a family place that was definitely missing. the swing on the beach had no swing. A kids play area would certainly be good in the area near the beach. The rooms were ok but the place could do with some TLC.

We had to attend to other matters for a couple of hours which left our daughter-in-law back at the resort with two children. They had a great time in the pool. I loved my avocado & prawn salad for lunch on our second day.

The wait time for our food at the restaurant was too long. We are usually very accepting of delays in restaurants but when you have children it is very hard to explain away the hunger. I guess there was a problem getting staff to help but the meals were lovely though.

Awesome location so quiet and tranquil, beautiful view right on the beach, great clean pool, exceptional friendly staff, and a lovely walk on the beach 10mins up to the pub.

Restaurant has no main meal vegetarian options except a very average Pizza Margarita which was void of any flavour, its not hard to do a Vegie burger or pasta to offer to your customers. Also to call yourself a resort and there are no pool lounges or tables to sit around the pool and you are left to lay on the concrete bricks!! The body Corporate who run this place need to have a hard look at themself and work better with the restaurant and staff to better support them and future customers.

Beautiful beachside setting. Very nice pool and bar area. Oceanside apartments far and above the apartments facing the pool area.

Property is getting ‘old’ and in need of revamp. Intruding noise from neighbours. Impossible to organise a taxi/Uber/DiDi for a return trip to airport. Not fault of resort. Would have been left stranded with no response from any of the contacted services. A complete shambles. $97 maxi taxi ride from airport to Dolphin Heads resort. Return trip no contact nor reply to our requests.

We stayed here for 1 night and absolutely loved it - the only thing we regret is not having booked more nights here. The young gentleman who checked us in was more than accommodating and super friendly. The rooms are beautiful - recently renovated with beautiful furnishings. It was very clean and location on the beach was perfect. Highly recommend!
