All the staff were exceptional; at reception, serving meals and cleaning. All were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. A special shout out to Ellen on reception who was a star. Large room nicely furnished, with bathroom adaptations for people with limited mobility. Food including breakfast and evening meals was good; generous helpings for breakfast. Free parking and plenty of room in the car park. Lovely grounds for eating out if the weather permitted. Very handy for access to surrounding areas and the motorway network.
Lack of any food availability at lunchtime. Snacks or sandwiches would have been good.

Comfortable and clean room with good quality fittings lovely location opted for the optional breakfast which couldn't be faulted.
Coffee milk etc. was supplied on arrival but not refreshed for the next day, main gripe however was that a wedding had been booked during our stay meaning that we had to park elsewhere as there were no allotted parking spaces for guest's (or couldn't find any anyway) and the festivities went on quite late making sleep impossible had we been informed of this we would have gone elsewhere as we wanted a peaceful retreat! No staff member was on reception on our Sunday departure to inform them of our greavance.

Absolutely loved my stay at Brook Hall. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were gorgeous, and the gardens were just beautiful. It’s only 15 minutes from Cheshire Oaks, and I loved it so much I booked an extra night!"
Nothing major to dislike, but if I had to mention something: it would be nice to have a mini fridge. They do provide mini milk, but I like cream with my coffee, and it’s also handy for keeping snacks. Also, while they supply shampoo and body wash, it’s wall-mounted and a bit tricky to use, so I’d recommend bringing your own body wash

The hotel is surrounded by a lovely garden and it feels as though you are away in a forest. The staff is great - special mention goes to the friendly receptionist who greeted us late on the evening of 25 May (unfortunately didn’t ask for her name). Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfast offers plenty of variety and includes a warm buffet of poached eggs, baked beans, mushrooms, fried tomatoes and bacon. There is an espresso machine, various teas, fruit, yoghurt, juice and continental style options for breakfast too. The WiFi in the room was very good. The hotel is a 3 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk from Hooton train station where you can take a train to Liverpool Central that takes about half an hour.

Room was great, breakfast was good, bathroom was clean.
We had the chicken carbonara which was well priced, and generally very tasty, but a lot of ground pepper seasoned the meal and for me it was too much. I would have liked to have had the choice. However, this could be a personal preference since my wife had no problems with the ground pepper. Our room was very close to the reception, even though it was upstairs and along a corridor. There was a speaker at the top of the stairs and the ambient background music could easily be heard in our guest room. It was, however, a mixture of jazz, which compensated. Others might not be so keen! The good thing is that the music stopped at about 10 pm.

The hotel is lovely when you walk in with the lit up foundation and friendly staff on reception. On the way in the lady give my little on a little toy squirrel and home made cookie chatting to her. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast has lots of choice and quick friendly service. Through the night I had to take my little girl to hospital and the last on reception (i think she was the manger) could not have been kinder! She waited up until we got back and said we could have the time to lie in tomorrow and told the staff the next morning so they knew and the chef made her a hot chocolate. I couldn’t recommend this place more and will definitely be recommending and staying again

Brook Hall is a quiet oasis on the outskirts of Eastham and Chester with easy access to all main roads. It's obviously popular locally with many arriving to use the private dining room(s). The hotel is charming with a 'faded elegance' to it. Mostly antique furniture set around a log fire. The ambience is totally enhanced by the gentle (and lovely) music that is playing in the evening. The food in the hotel dining room was very good. The staff were incredibly attentive and breakfast was both buffet and al la carte and of good quality. There is ample and discreet parking set to the side and in front of the hotel entrance and lovely well tended gardens around the property looking out over fields. Spot the pheasants that have made the garden their own.
The exterior of the hotel is in need of some TLC which I'm sure the hotel is aware of. The bedroom I had was spacious with antique fittings and furniture........my only feeling was that the mattress could have been better quality.

Extremely helpful staff in all areas, reception, restaurant, bar. Excellent homemade food and helpful chef. Good event rooms and again helpful staff. Lovely garden with masses of daffodils and small stream. Plenty of car parking. All facilities in good working order. Easy to use TV and key pad. Nice to have a tea pot as well as a coffee mug. Lovely to walk in the garden after a long trip particularly in sunny dry weather.
Instruction about TV channels. I didn't need the spa of the bath but I pressed what I thought was needed for the operation which didn't activate the bubbles. I didn't ask how to use, however.

Loved the homely feel of the place the lovely grounds & the nice touch of giving us a bone for our dog who was also made welcome. We didn't get the chance to sample the food but the menu looked good. The bed was very comfy too. We would happily go back for a longer stay & will recommend Brook Hall to other family & friends visiting the area
The tv aerial was faulty so picture & sound was distorted & shampoo & conditioner was placed for shower users & difficult to reach when having a bath. Also not keen on the wooden stirrer sticks rather than teaspoons for the tea & coffee in the room.

Very well decorated and styled. We received a complimentary cookie each on checkin, which was a nice touch and went well with the tea and coffee facilities in the room. We had a lovely and spacious double en suit room. The head board, dressing table, bed side tables ect were all varnished beautiful antique wood, with gorgeous detailing. It really suited the room. The room and bathroom was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bath in the bathroom was a jacuzzi bath and I really enjoyed my soak in it with the jets on. The staff were very friendly and kind, showing us to our room, which is a lovely touch as since Covid, I haven’t had any member of staff in any other hotel physically show us to the door of our room. Breakfast was very well cooked the following day with perfect poached eggs. The waiter / chef we spoke to was very friendly and chatty. A really lovely stay, quiet and tranquil, tucked away from the main roads.
We arrived in the Autumn rain and the car park ground was slippery with the leaves and eleven, it was a little difficult to navigate a wheeled suitcase across. The bedroom walls are quite thin between the rooms. We stayed in room 211 and our head board was most definitely against the headboard of room 210. We heard a lot of moaning and bedroom antics from our neighbours.
