Located opposite the Liverpool Philharmonic hall which was convenient as we were attending a show there. New Year’s Eve meal was very good, staff so helpful as usual ! Breakfast busy but we’ll cooked and good quality as ever. Rooms well appointed, toiletries excellent quality, forgot my toothpaste but reception have complimentary paste. I have not been to the Spa but had a look and will consider booking a treat in the future

I like a hand held shower to rinse off, also I’m only short and had difficulty closing Bath plug as it’s behind a glass screen so had to get into the bath first to shut it , apart from that everything else was really lovely .

Booked this hotel for my partner and a friend as it was close to a gig as a gift. After a potent bottomless brunch they attended elsewhere of what could only be described as harry potter flavour cocktails with the strength of Fear and loathing last Vegas style concoction, it is needless to say the gig was two patrons short that night and the hotel ended up becoming the sole destination for the Inbetweeners pair. When not hugging and viewing the inside of the toilet bowl, which was extremely clean and closely inspected during these visits, well it was beforehand that is, or the inside of her eye lids in the exceptionally comfortable bed and duvet, the hotel couldn't be faulted. I would ask how the table is holding up as she had a drunken altercation with it as it apparently snuck up on her out of nowhere and stole her lunch money whilst taking out her shin. The breakfast however had every option a recovering alcoholic could need to make it through the recovery of the night before bad life choices. All in all, I would highly recommend this Hotel.

Spacious and new; lovely lobby/main dining room & bar. Liked the modern bathroom and walk in shower, robes, linens. Near "The Phil" and walkable to/from train station. We also walked to Docks for tours (about 1.2 miles - downhill going, uphill returning). Breakfast was good and staff very good. After 3 days in Liverpool we were really glad we stayed here - as we discovered the city we found that other hotels more in the midst of traffic/congestion. We liked nearby restaurants and pubs and thought hotel location was nice.

The sink in the bathroom was quite low. Fried eggs not very tasty!

Breakfast Good portion . Very tasty . Good selection .

Scrambled eggs were made to order which meant they were lively and hot but by the time you had ordered and they were brought you had finished the rest of your food Watch your bill - there were multiple errors in the bill . The reception staff were lovely and dealt with it very efficiently but I don’t usually check my bill . There was over £100 of add ons that were not applicable. The spa facilities were beautiful but I had paid for two of us to access them - not realising it was £55 per person for 2 hours . Not worth it I’m afraid .

Great staff. Clean. Amazing large bath and separate shower. Great sized room (we had a studio for 2 of us).

Minor things - Would have liked a fridge to keep drinks cold. Mid stay - cleaning staff did not clean when we were going out about 10:30 (we took the ‘peace’ sign off the door and said we were heading out and asked for some refill toiletries). They came at about 12 whilst we were getting ready for a wedding at the hotel (they knocked when ‘peace’ sign on the door). Thry we’re not going to be around at 2 after we’d gone. They did their best to be quick but wasn’t ideal.

Great hotel staff, high quality food at breakfast. Nice bar with very good drink selection. Room had VERY comfortable beds and the bathroom shower was excellent. A separate bath was also within the bathroom

Bar closed 11ish even for guests. Spa more like a party venue on a Fri between 4pm and 6pm with large group quaffing drinks in the hot tub. At £55 for 2 hours not good value for me. There was also a black tie dentist function on the Friday night until 2pm. I am a light sleeper and was kept awake until it finished at 2pm by the faint bass beat. In fairness my partner said never heard a thing...

Staff were really welcoming, common areas were clean fresh and stylish with great interiors and attention to detail. The whole place was infused with gorgeous aromas wafting up from the spa. Thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, water, waffle robes and temple spa toiletries in the room. We were travelling with a dog and they provided a water bowl and treats for him to use. Wish we had time for a longer stay: Menu for Carriage Works restaurant looked amazing. Wish I had taken photos but my hands were full a lot of the time! Great position. Lots to see and do on the doorstep

Urm.... Hmm.... Nothing I can think of. Oh, a little bit of unsettled flooring near the lift creaked a bit, Parking needed some thought, but it wasn't a problem. Metered and max 2 hrs outside the hotel, but several secure parking facilities a short stroll away

Lovely location . Just by the Baltic markets Spa was the nicest spa I have been to & the gym . The staff were all lovely . Hotel spotless ,and is so nicely decorated throughout . Not one area was run down .

There was nothing I didn't like . Just two pointers No mini fridge in the room . Woke up in the night for a drink . Would have liked a fridge filled with drinks and goodies. Which I would have purchased and paid for . Drinks in the bar £13 a cocktail which is a fair price for a hotel , when they came they where so small . Not good value for money I would definitely stay again . Staff hotel and spa was stunning throughout Thank you

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely hotel bar, where we had pre-dinner drinks. Bedroom had a huge bathroom and was a decent size, with good views of the Liverpool skyline.

The only fault is, like most hotels, there is no vanity mirror to use when applying make up / drying hair. There was obviously a mirror in the bathroom, but that is not practical for the above purpose. The full-length mirror in the room had a luggage rack in front of it, and when the hair dryer was plugged in, the cable did not stretch far enough for the mirror to be of any use.

The spa is stunning, without doubt one of the best I've been to - location is perfect for walking to the many eateries nearby or even down to the water for a lovely walk along Kings Parade to the Port & Liver Buildings and the famous Beatles Statue

Staff on check in were not great (one in particular) we were laden down with luggage and clothes from the spa no offer of help or to even let us into the room so that we could do 2 trips - rooms were on different floors despite us asking if they could be together - different person on check out though, who was lovely
