Everything. All the staff and people in the hostel was amazing. Couldnt fault anything, you meet people from all walks of life and I grew a lot personally from 4 nights here. The energy is very magnetic there. I will 100% return when the times right.

We had a wonderful family stay at this youth hostel in Liverpool! With our three children aged 9 to 13, we were looking for a friendly, practical, and well-located accommodation—and we were thrilled. The atmosphere is warm, the staff are welcoming, and always available to help or suggest family-friendly activities. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with enough space for everyone to feel good. The shared spaces are really well designed: the kitchen is very use full , we enjoyed relaxing in the quiet lounge at the end of the day and exchanging with Kevin the owner and the others mates, they all were very nice. Breakfast was plentiful and varied (bread jam typical cookie and a really good coffee made by Kevin : a real bonus to start our day !) . The hostel is ideally located to visit Liverpool’s main attractions, and we could easily get around on foot (or by public bus). A huge thank you to the whole team for this memorable stay—we’ll definitely be back!
Nothing, it was perfect in the category of youth hostel

A very warm welcome from the most unique and unforgettable hostel. Full of chacter and charm and a few surprises. Situated in the beautiful Georgian quarter, it's somewhere to take in and really appreciate. Shops for essentials are just around the corner.
Try to remain vigilant, as hostelling in England can be risky, in the dormitories . I stayed in the all female dormitory, and the majority of the time, it was very good. A couple of issues presented, due to witchcraft being practised... just take something to cover up, in case it happens and enjoy the hostel.

Friendly staff , warm and accommodating , was given a coffee as soon as I arrived (perfect for the weary traveller) Sat and chatted about everything from art to music to history (And football banter with Kev) I arrived early so sat off in the kitchen working The coffee was free flowing as was the conversation. If you would like to meet interesting characters from all walks of life This is most certainly the place. I first stayed here 20 years ago The atmosphere and general feel has never changed . It is a grade listed building which took a battering over the winter . New boilers have been fitted and a bit of a refurb going on downstairs but nothing to interfere with your stay . Value for money cannot be beaten in the whole of the Merseyside area considering it's central location. This is a travellers hostel not the Ritz Carlton.

Well where do I start... absolutely incredible value for money under 25 pound you get a bed a hot shower and breakfast buffett each morning.the maids are here every morning and the place is so clean I would eat my breakfast off the floor if it fell on it. Victoria, baldy and Kevin senior are all absolutely incredible accommodating and made me feel at home for my whole stay. Its not like a normal hostel it is more like a home away from home i loved it, also there is No rush for you to get out when your checking out or anything I will be returning for sure.
I'm reading some negative reviews and I am convinced they are fake reviews or something because this place is absolutely fantastic
