Gorgeous coastal views from the B&B and patio in the room. Comfortable beds and clean modern rooms. Free parking at the property. Was slightly disappointed that full Scottish breakfast was no longer on the menu however I enjoyed the salmon and poached eggs offered instead. Teddy the chihuahua was adorable, and staff very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner at the local pub down the road - you must try the lobster! Book in advance as it gets very busy and they were turning people away whilst we were there. Nice location along NC500 but not much in Keiss so stock up before you get there!

We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Maree and Christine are lovely - they sincerely care about their B&B, their guests and everything they offer in the B&B. They are such professionals, along with a sincete personal touch! Breakfast is delicious and easily organised; you let them know the day in advance which of the options you'd like and they prepare it fresh every morning. Along with a buffet of tea/coffee/fruit/yoghurts/juices, everything is there. Shower is great, rooms are incredibly clean and everything you can think of is provided. Beds and duvets are very comfy, too. And, obviously, the location and views are perfect!! We have not seen a hotel or B&B with these high standards and this excellent value for money during our entire 2-week trip in Scotland. Thanks Maree and Christine!!

Maree was very friendly and welcoming, room was spotless with great views both front and back. I could see the castle and beach at the front, and fields at the back with a deer and her baby which Maree told me to look out for. Very, very comfy bed. It was nice to have a sofa too. Good hit shower, and breakfast was nice with a nice choice of options, different from the norm which was nice. I had spibach, avocado, and poached egg on toast. Tea, coffee, cereals, yogurt, and juice available also.

Kettle was a little fiddly to pour due to the cable location, but that's just a little thing.

Great location, not hard to find - just follow the signs with the name of the B&B. Our room was perfect, we had an amazing view and the bed was really comfortable. You can order the breakfast at check in and they have plenty of options. The food was amazing ( cooked to order) and they had a great selection of cereal, yogurt, fruit etc. Maree was exceptional!!!! She gave us great recommendations for places to visit and she also told us where to grab dinner. There is a pub close by, The Village Inn, make sure you make a reservation!!!!!! I cannot stress this enough. We didn't know until Maree told us and got there early and ordered food to go. We had an amazing time and we cannot thank Maree enough for her hospitality! Highly recommended!

Room was very nice and comfortable however the room had been steam cleaned and the comforters were very slightly still damp. I didn't notice but my daughter was very aware of it and this made it difficult for her to fall asleep. On the plus side, the room was very, very clean and I would definitely stay there again. My daughter would too but she'd bring her own blanket just to be safe. The location was very convenient to John O'Groats where we had an early excursion planned and this proximity made it very easy to get to our excursion on time.

The slight dampness of the comforter was an issue for my daughter.

We thought the room was nicely presented, clean and with room to move! The best bit of our stay was Maree, she was an absolute darling, and gave us lots of suggestions of things to do in the area. And, she let us cuddle her wee dog, Teddy! Perfect! The breakfast was great, enough to keep us going all day, and cooked to perfection.

As with everywhere, it would be great if there was a guest laundry, but the one in nearby Wick did the trick! If there were hooks available for hanging toilet bags, caps etc, that would be handy, but not a complaint, just a suggestion 😉

The clean contemporary rooms and the endless views out each side of our room. The glorious peace and quiet. And the helpfulness of Kristy and Maree. There were sufficient vegan options including oat milk.

Breakfast at 8:30am is a bit late if you want to get out sightseeing. I’d have liked earlier access to the dining room to make cold breakfast, coffee and toast ourselves as an option- with cooked breakfasts not available until the later times.

We used the B&B as a base to explore the North-east corner of Scotland and the island of Orkney by motorcycle. The rooms were very comfortable, the views spectacular and the breakfasts were scrumptious. Evening meals in the Village Inn in Keiss were very good as well. Maree and Christine were very kind and attentive, ensuring our stay was glitch free and very pleasant indeed.

Breakfast was superb and all freshly cooked and Marie always made sure my food was gluten free. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely with a super clean ensuite and patio doors onto a private patio with chairs. The view was fantastic. Private car park.

Big potholes on the main road but that is down to the council not the owner

Loved loved loved our 1 night stay! The ladies were very helpful. We wanted to come a day earlier so we called last minute and they happily changed our booking to that day instead of the next. Thank you!! The room was lovely and spacious, I had the best nights sleep! The tea and coffee facilities were great, the bathroom had plenty shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We stayed at a B&B the night before and definitely didn't get anything like this. Our cooked breakfast the next morning was delicious!! Thank you so much again ladies.
