The bed was very comfortable. The room was spotless and the toiletries were of good quality. I had the best poached eggs I have ever tasted. There was good information readily available about the area and the b&b is well situated. It is right at the centre of the town. My room overlooked the garden and was quiet , well protected from the noise from the road. I liked the fact that you can use the dining room if you want to bring in a takeaway. I didn't do that but it is a nice gesture. I felt very safe and will definitely use it again. I found a long stay car park in Princes Rd where you can stay for £4.40 a day. It is free on Sundays and between 4pm and 8 am.

Friendly greeting and good communication via booking.com which made it easy to change check in time due to traffic. Good intro to room by Graham and facilities and location were excellent. The breakfast both morning's was delicious and the options were varied. The Room was clean tidy and very comfy with clean functional bathroom. Parking in car park close by and good information from our hosts about this and local area. Thankyou to Graham and Kay for a stress free stay.

Might be helpful to have some blackout material on the back of the curtains but nothing much else as everything was great and we'd like to come back!

Lovely friendly welcoming owners. Very clean bedroom and excellent breakfast. Great location for visiting Paultons Park. We will be visiting again when we cruise from Southampton for overnight stays.

There was nothing that we didnt like about the room - it was lovely. There is no car park at the accommodation, however there is a council owned car park (Broadwater Road - NOT Aldi!) only a couple of minutes walk away which is free overnight from 4pm to 8am.

Probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in a great many on business and for pleasure. Owners are pleasant and friendly. Breakfast is excellent, good choice, good quantities and cooked to perfection. Rooms are well appointed beautifully maintained and cleaned, bathroom is small (at least in the room I stayed in) but perfectly functional, clean and well appointed.

Nothing really apart from perhaps the paper bathmat which sticks to your feet. But I guess it serves its purpose!

We originally booked a twin room but upon arrival found out it was too many flights of stairs up. Graham changed it to a downstairs room which was not a twin room but it was fine for us. Everything looked like it had just been done up, lovely and fresh. Breakfast options were good, cooked items nicely prepared and presented. We understand that ordering the items the evening before makes things easier for the kitchen but sometimes you don’t know what you will feel like eating the next morning.

No parking in the street outside Palmerston Rooms. The public parking we used was about 500 yds away. To unload and reload the car, we could put it in front of Graham‘s garage.

Excellent B&B. We stayed here as a family, and booked two rooms. We loved the fact that the two rooms were on their own on the top floor, so our toddler could go between the two rooms. They were beautifully decorated with big bathrooms. The breakfast was delicious with choices of hot food and even gluten free toast and sausages which was great. The owners were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying here before a visit to Peppa Pig World as it made the evening stay more of a special event, rather than just staying in a chain hotel near the park itself. There is also a Prezzo next door which was ideal for an evening meal. Highly recommended.

Very convenient location for Romsey centre, for public transport and walks to the Memorial Park, Sadler's Mill and the Test Way. Very good cooked breakfast. Very clean, comfortable and quirky old house. Powerful shower with good temperature control. Nice toiletries. Room overlooking the garden was quiet. A bonus to be able to sleep with the window open!

Would be good to have the option of a chamomile or green tea in the room.

The accommodation is located in a wonderful environment, the room is very nice and clean, it was exactly as shown in the pictures and has everything you need. The breakfasts are very delicious and plentiful. Kay and Graham do everything they can to ensure that anyone who stays here really doesn't lack for anything. Special thanks for accommodating my request for breakfast on the last day!

This is a lovely traditional property dating back to 1790, according to the owners, who are doing a great job lovingly maintaining it. My room was quiet and peaceful, overlooking a pretty little courtyard garden. The owners were kind and extremely helpful, going out of their way to organise transport for me when there were no taxis available for the following day. The property is right in the centre of Romsey, with plenty of options for eating out in the evening. The cooked breakfast was enormous!

We had a wonderful stay at The Palmerston Rooms! The room was big, spotlessly clean with good quality extras. The beds were super comfy and a fan was provided as it was a very warm weekend. Kay and Graham gave us a warm welcome and breakfast was delicious. Thank you

There was nothing at all not to like! Just a small suggestion...maybe black out curtains would be a good addition as it did get quite bright by 4.30am
