Location was absolutely unbeatable! Room/bathroom was clean and very decent size. Staff was very nice. It was low season, so not much people there. Definitely enjoyed the buffet at breakfast; repetitive, but warm and tasty (eggs, bacon, fruits, pastries, juices, cereals etc.) The pool area is dated and small, but convenient. Outdoor seeting area is nice. Parking is free and very big. Some toileteries, souvenirs and food (snacks, beverages, frozen) available at the reception. Restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks (only had breakfast). Soap/bodywash/shampoo available in the shower. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine in the room. Small closet with hangers. TV with many channels. AC/heat system was great. Very confortable mattress and pillows. Very safe neighbourhood.

No safe in rooms (well in ours there was none). Pool area needs to be updated (only few chairs available, one table, odors, only 4 feet deep at max.), but the towels were very clean. There was a kids party when we arrived so it was crowded and impossible to enjoy. You can hear the church bells in the morning. Gym is small, but convenient if you really need it.

The location of the Hotel is excellent for couples/families that like to walk to destinations. The hotel is located right near the entrance to the park and on a main thoroughfare. Therefore you have the ability to choose between walking on the sidewalk of the main street, or walking through the park to get to many many restaurants, shops and bars. We also walked to the race track, although there is a free shuttle to the track as well.

Even though the room was clean, the fan for the A/C was pretty loud. We had a slight issue with the bathtub, but they resolved in in less than an hour.

With respect to GPS, confusing entrance. Front entrance on Broadway back entrance/exit off Circular Street. This is confusing to someone not from the area. But it worked!! Restaurant/Bar times could be a little more flexible. We were there to see a show at the SPAC; check-in time is 3:00pm ( they do allow early check-in) Show parking began at 5pm.Restaurant/Bar opens at 4:00pm but doesn't serve food until 5:00pm. This allows a very short window to get a meal before the show. We were able to find a restaurant nearby but this scenario is inconvenient when again you don't know the area.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, and the staff was so friendly and professional. The hotel bar was a great place to sit back and relax with a drink or some food to start our night off or to end it. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the hotel. We met so many nice people while in Saratoga and at the hotel. The hotel is close to the track and within walking distance to all the restaurants/bars and shops on Broadway. We absolutely loved it! We cannot wait to go back!

Service at restaurant and front desk were friendly, courteous, professional and efficient. The shuttle drivers were friendly and made it easy to get around. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and I liked the refrig and microwave. I also requested a room near the elevator, and the front desk was kind enough to accommodate this request.

The remote on the TV was a little slow.

Room seemed a little humid/damp as towels and sheets felt slightly damp. Am not sure the humidity in the room was due to the unusual heat heat wave with high humidity hitting the northeast and it was the exception rather than the rule. Otherwise , the room was quick to cool by the air conditioner.

Value for money was excellent. Room was clean and neat, breakfast was fantastic, and the swimming pool was lovely. For the price we paid, we were extremely impressed with the facilities. Of course, some things are a little old, but they are clean and in working order. This was our return trip from a week away in New York City. We returned from NYC to Albany via Amtrak, then grabbed our car and drove to Saratoga Springs (only about 30 mins away).

I wish I had know about this accommodation at the beginning of our vacation. I would have chosen it over the terrible Hilton in Albany that we stayed at. I would rather drive 30 mins and stay at a family friendly place like this one, instead of the horrid, run down Hilton that was dirty.

Location was good, staff was super friendly and helpful, room was clean. Overall a good stay.

The only thing that wasn’t great was our shower. The fixture (shower head and handle) would both move when turning the handle. It was like it wasn’t sealed and secured in the wall. And the pull to make the shower head turn on worked but it would still run from the faucet at the same time. So that was a little weird but other that it was fine. Shower still worked just had to be very gentle with it so it didn’t break more.

The shower was not good. Water sprayed everywhere but where it was supposed to. Other than that it was great. Didn't want to complain k owing it may have been to late to be fixed when it was noticed.

The hotel is within walking distance to Downtown Saratoga, the racetrack and it borders Congress Park. There is also a free shuttle that will take you to the track and around town. The pools were nice also indoor and outdoor.

It’s an older hotel, but well kept. Saturday night rates in town are expensive during racing season. Probably a lot for the room, but there were a lot of positives.
