The directions were easy to follow and the house was set in a quiet area. We were met by the proprietor who showed us how to use the facilities.The room overlooked a lovely courtyard and you could sit outside on a balcony. The house was a five minute walk from bars and restaurants. Breakfast was typical continental. Fruit, yogurts, breads , cakes. We had our own keys to come and go as we pleased.

Some of the decor was in need of updating but acceptable for a short stay. The WiFi could only be received in one area of the room. Signage on the front door could be clearer.

The host was very helpful and carried our luggage to the room. It was close to the port. She had ample parking. Breakfast was set up outside, which was very nice each morning.

It was difficult to drive down the street. The streets are very narrow and I’m not sure if it was in the best section of town. The Wi-Fi was very hard to get in our room so we would have to sit outside or in the family room to get it. We were upstairs and maybe that was the problem.

Absolutely beautiful property. Location is excellent, 1 street back from the old port and in walking distance to all the major attractions. Breakfast was lovely.

Probably a little bit more signage as to which property was the Abbaye, after you walk through the front gate there are 2-3 properties you could access, nearly went into a neighbours house. Make sure you get an email detailing the code to get in, we sort of did but t was the wrong code, and then where to go. Perhaps a short note detailing was areas of the B&B we could use, e.g. can I use the kitchen to make coffee? There’s a kettle in the room but only 2 teabags for a 4 night stay. The blinds were broken which was a shame as the courtyard is beautiful.

The room is charming and spacious. Excellent location, within easy walking distance to many attractions and restaurants.

You can easily hear what's going on in the rest of the house, and there are no "quiet hours", so a late party by the host or another guest can keep you up.

Room was really lovely, spacious and I had a sofa and armchair. Aircon was good, bathroom was luxurious. Small balcony as well. The lady running everything was very kind, and spoke perfect English.

The wifi wasn't brilliant.

The accommodation is an oasis of quiet tranquillity in the hustle and bustle of Marseille - hidden away, it is a real gem. The room was spacious and comfortable and beautifully 'dressed'.

We found the room a little difficult to find on arrival. We could have done with a teaspoon and perhaps more than 1 tea bag,

We had one of three rooms in what felt like it had been a family home. Our was upstairs and overlooked a small but lovely garden, a great surprise in the heart of the city. Breakfast, which was good, was served at a communal table in the garden. Great location to explore the heart of Marseille, in a safe area with plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

The single bed was ok, but not great for an adult.

The location is close to le vieux port but still very quiet. Excellent breakfast. Our hostess was friendly & helpful, receptive to requests. E.g plug in the basin was missing & she got one that day...the layout of room & little balcony good...the decoration, the pictures... beautiful!

Our bedroom and bed were large and spacious. It was great to be in a large room with space for everything. The breakfast on the outside terrace was delicious and well done.

The house is full of charm, The owner was very nice. She was very welcoming and helpful, There was a delicious breakfast, surtout la confiture, "Fait a la Maison" in the private courtyard.
