Very pleased with our room. Breakfast very good, lots of choice, nothing too much trouble for the staff. We didn't have dinner just B & B On the whole, we were very pleased.

We had a fantastic time at the Dart Marina. Food really good, spotlessly clean. The hotel was refurbished about two years ago and they have done an excellent job. Perfect spot for watching the world go by, or a stroll into Dartmouth. Cocktails at the bar were excellent with a good choice. Car parking free which is another bonus.All staff were really friendly and helpful apart from one waitress, very dour indeed. It would be helpful if staff wore name badges as some went above and beyond but we didn’t get their names!

Great location - lovely to watch the steam train passing by, the activity on the river, and the view generally. Staff were wonderful, friendly and professional. Restaurant was good for breakfast and dinner. Nice walk along the riverfront into town. Plentiful parking. Nice variety of seating areas inside and out.

If using Booking.Com be careful when it says ‘limited view’ as you will probably be very disappointed with your outlook, as we were. Hotel staff clearly used to this scenario and did their best to find us better rooms - upgrades were at our expense but worth it for the better view.

All staff were very welcoming, friendly, polite at breakfast and dinner, accommodating with our choice of table. Food -breakfast, a good choice of cereals, cooked breakfast was nice. Dinner on each evening was excellent and well served. Room - as booking, view of the river and balcony, bed comfortable, heating fine, bathroom clean and well lit, plenty of wardrobe space, we came prepared with some of our own coat hangers, there is rarely enough.

Cooked breakfast - could have been improved with a choice of plain and smoked bacon, tea and coffee were served immediately on arrival, rather than after cereal, by the time the hot food arrived drinks were not hot, might be worth reviewing this policy. I am sure that we could have asked the staff for fresh drinks, but this seemed wasteful!

Bar and Restaurant team were superb. Lounge and restaurant area was stylish and very comfortable - beautiful views of the marina and ferry coming in and out. Ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food was faultless - delicious mussels with fries. Good selection of wines by the glass. My room was extremely spacious and comfortable with a lovely view. Breakfast was also very good. Parking was easy and a real bonus.

There was no information guide in the room - be it about the hotel, the spa, room service, the bar/restaurant menu or the local area - to orientate yourself on arrival. A little local information would have been appreciated regarding the area, ferry's, things to do etc. The bathroom - whilst spotless – felt a little underwhelming given the rest of the hotel decor and room design.

Lovely location

Very limited food menu and expensive. A couple of the reception team weren’t very friendly, spoke down to us and with attitude which isn’t great being front of house. Very annoyed with each drink we ordered at the bar they added on a £2 charge, the drinks weren’t cheap in the first place so this made them even more expensive. The weekend wasn’t cheap and we felt we should have expected better service. Would we stay again probably not unless an apology and credit was offered.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! From the friendly and helpful staff to the relaxing spaces around the hotel, it was all we could have hoped for and more. The En Suite area was luxurious and the balcony meant we could really enjoy the surroundings in our own private setting. The reception, porter, bar and dining staff made us feel at ease whilst ensuring we had everything we needed. We've had a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.... we will be back!

The location is stunning. Good restaurant. Very nice rooms with great views across the river. Very good service We loved the outside bar by the riverside for a glass when we returned to hotel from our days out and about. A brilliant large car park, makes for a low stress arrival not having to think about parking or safety of your car.

Room didn’t have a walk in shower. I think showers over baths are dangerous.

Location is brilliant. Food, especially breakfast was great - wide choice of tasty food. Room was fine, as expected.

Insufficient disabled car parking spaces. Plenty of normal spaces. But people like me, who need to be able to open the car door fully in order to get in or our, need the extra space afforded in a disabled space. I don't think the staff understand this.

The location is fabulous. It's worth the extra to have a balcony to sit and watch the river. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was at night, even with the balcony door open, we were both undisturbed.

We had a meal in the restaurant, the food was fantastic but the choice and value of the wine was not what I expected in a 4 star hotel.
