It's a really nice resort with everything you might need during your stay. It's large, clean, safe, nice facilities, big swimming pool, nice rest areas, very nice restaurant (and very nice breakfast!). The rooms are clean and very neat. Overall, it's a nice place to stay if you are around Hoi An. The staff is excellent and very helpful! There is a beach within around 5 min walk from the resort that seems to be very deserted and not frequently visited by people, but I liked it (again - no one there^^).

You should keep in mind that this is resort is not in Hoi An per se. You should take a taxi or free shuttle to the Old City. It takes around 10 min to get there and around 80,000 dong (around 3 to 5 USD) to do so via Grab taxi (which I used). It's not that far and not that inconvenient to do so, but you should keep that in mind. There is literally nothing around this resort, everything is in the Old Town. If you plan to hang around the Old Town, you should probably look for another place to stay. If you want a quiet place to relax (with occasional trips to the Old Town), then this is your place to be. Except from that, this is a very nice place to stay.

Every aspect of our stay was met with cleanliness, exceptional service, excellent food, delightful ambience & friendliness. From cleaning staff, baggage handlers, transport staff, pool staff, kitchen staff and management/reception, nothing was too much trouble. All staff go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met & your stay is enjoyable, their attention to detail is impeccable. The location is quiet, however you can easily get transport to Ba Na Hills, Danang or into Hoi An town. Silk Sense are experts at ensuring every guest is taken care of. The food is amazing & the facilities are fantastic, they offer fresh local foods and a generous breakfast buffet. Also, the workshops are enjoyable. We have stayed all over Vietnam for our honeymoon and this resort has by far been the absolute best. I am so happy we stayed here & while we were not originally anticipating on coming back, we most certainly will be. It did rain a couple of days throughout our stay - however the resort is so relaxing & enjoyable, it really did not matter.

That we had to leave! Our trip was pre-booked - otherwise I would have happily extended our stay even longer.

Words cannot describe how remarkable this property is ! We have just returned from a 5 night stay and it was pure perfection. We were greeted with a complimentary room upgrade from the most warm and welcoming front office staff. The rooms are impeccably clean, the gardens immaculate, the pool area just stunning, the breakfast has everything you can ask for. And the complimentary shuttle bus to town or the beach and the daily activities the hotel offers are an added bonus, we loved doing the coffee making class. We can't thank all the staff enough for making our stay truly memorable and we can't wait to return.

We’ve stayed in a lot of accommodation throughout Australia and other parts of the world. We were delighted to find Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort provided the best customer service we have ever experienced. Not only that the onsite spa service also provided some of the best personal services, massage, facial, foot treatments, that we’ve had at a resort spa. The entire team have been trained so well and all staff demonstrated a consistent culture of excellence. It is no wonder the resort has received so many awards and recognitions in the past 3-4 years.

Lovely place to stay - wellkept garden and nice pool area to have a cocktail! We did a couple of the free activities but there's lots available we didn't get round to. The staff are so helpful, especially Thao and Vu who were just so friendly and thoughtful (and somehow remembered all our names!) Top points for the sustainability aspects - eg no plastic water bottles, filtered water topped up regularly on the room and available at reception. There's so much plastic waste in Vietnam! There's a free shuttle but we just booked Grab for convenience as the bus wasn't at times we wanted to go.

We were travelling with our toddler so it was a struggle in the summer heat to find things to do in aircon (pool could only entertain for so long). There's a kids play room but the toys are random or more for taking to the beach for sandplay. The small room is air-conditioned though. We booked the garden view rooms and were on the top/3rd floor. Didn't realise this when booking as it was a little difficult for my elderly dad - we managed and they did offer to change rooms for 2 of the 3 nights we were staying. Just be mindful if stairs are an issue for you. Rooms in the main block have a lift.

Fantastic service from the staff. Down to remembering our names, remembering our coffee order every morning, so friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful swimming pool. Great onside facilities - spa, restaurant, bar. Great location away from the busy Hoi An centre with easy access by shuttle or grab.

The two bedroom villa was strangely laid out. There were two separate staircases for each bedroom so I felt a bit far away from my young children at night. I don't know if this was super clear on the photos. Would be fine for older children. Not a massive problem.

Everything during my stay went really well, the facility met my needs perfectly!! Excellent breakfast had some different contents every day, pool had clear water, had nice room with great view. Most of all I want to give my biggest thanks and highest ratings to the most wonderful personnel!! All of them were really nice, professional and made me feel special. Thuy is amazing having big, caring heart focusing on doing everything she can to make the customer feel welcome, appreciated and special. Hien is cheerful caretaker welcoming customers to spa and taking good care of them. Dat is professional and friendly guy who helped me to understand lot about Vietnam, culture, life of an average Vietnamese person. High recommendation to this hotel!

Great location, in a quiet but well-served area about 10/15 minutes from Hoi An town. Easy access to both the old town and local beaches via the regular free hotel shuttle service. Helpful and friendly staff, nothing was an issue. Very family - friendly with some great daytime activities, everyone enjoyed the lantern making!

Not a problem for us, but the hotel doesn’t offer evening entertainment so can be a bit quieter at night. Just something to bear in mind if you do prefer entertainment.

The location is perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Transportation was easy, thanks to the complimentary shuttle to both the town and the beach. Breakfast was very good, with a varied selection each morning. The facilities were well maintained, everything was impeccably clean, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
