It's a really nice resort with everything you might need during your stay. It's large, clean, safe, nice facilities, big swimming pool, nice rest areas, very nice restaurant (and very nice breakfast!). The rooms are clean and very neat. Overall, it's a nice place to stay if you are around Hoi An. The staff is excellent and very helpful! There is a beach within around 5 min walk from the resort that seems to be very deserted and not frequently visited by people, but I liked it (again - no one there^^).

You should keep in mind that this is resort is not in Hoi An per se. You should take a taxi or free shuttle to the Old City. It takes around 10 min to get there and around 80,000 dong (around 3 to 5 USD) to do so via Grab taxi (which I used). It's not that far and not that inconvenient to do so, but you should keep that in mind. There is literally nothing around this resort, everything is in the Old Town. If you plan to hang around the Old Town, you should probably look for another place to stay. If you want a quiet place to relax (with occasional trips to the Old Town), then this is your place to be. Except from that, this is a very nice place to stay.

Fantastic service from the staff. Down to remembering our names, remembering our coffee order every morning, so friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful swimming pool. Great onside facilities - spa, restaurant, bar. Great location away from the busy Hoi An centre with easy access by shuttle or grab.

The two bedroom villa was strangely laid out. There were two separate staircases for each bedroom so I felt a bit far away from my young children at night. I don't know if this was super clear on the photos. Would be fine for older children. Not a massive problem.

Everything during my stay went really well, the facility met my needs perfectly!! Excellent breakfast had some different contents every day, pool had clear water, had nice room with great view. Most of all I want to give my biggest thanks and highest ratings to the most wonderful personnel!! All of them were really nice, professional and made me feel special. Thuy is amazing having big, caring heart focusing on doing everything she can to make the customer feel welcome, appreciated and special. Hien is cheerful caretaker welcoming customers to spa and taking good care of them. Dat is professional and friendly guy who helped me to understand lot about Vietnam, culture, life of an average Vietnamese person. High recommendation to this hotel!

The staff were extremely helpful with organising drivers for us and were fast at replying to my many questions on WhatsApp. They helped to organise our travel via train from Da Nang to Hue, organised the train tickets and driver to pick us up when we arrived in Hue. My friend left her headphones in the hotel room and the staff organised for them to be delivered to us before we left the country. Very much recommend, thanks for a great stay!

Location was about 20 minute drive from the old town, but there is a free shuttle and also grab taxis available.

My stay at this hotel in Hoi An was truly memorable. The staff were exceptional—always going the extra mile with their warm hospitality and excellent service. The location is perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Transportation was easy, thanks to the complimentary shuttle to both the town and the beach. Breakfast was very good, with a varied selection each morning. The facilities were well maintained, everything was impeccably clean, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I would give this place 20/10 if I could. I chose this place because of the pool and it did not disappoint!!! The water was warm which was a pleasant surprise! So nice to swim at night when the weather is cool but the water is warm!! It’s got some ozone technology and mineral salts. Great great staff! The pool guy, the porters, the front desk. Very efficient! Thank you for your great work! ❤️ the turn down service at night was a pleasant surprise! Lovely to return after a day out to a clean room with a good night message on the bed! The beds and pillows omg so comfortable!!! Breakfast was yummy! We stayed 3 nights and there was always something new the next day! There was a shuttle service that we took once, 15 min to town, but because the times were sporadic, we ended up just booking grab everywhere! ($4 sgd to town). Really convenient. There’s a spa in the resort as well as across the road, walk just a little further down there’s some nice restaurants too. Love that the resort has so many activities, we did taichi in the morning, had tea in the early noon, and snacks by the pool in the late noon, free! Bicycles free to use! Looking forward to coming back here in the future!

I travelled to Hoi An with family which included senior citizen parents. We chose to stay at Silk Sense and it more than exceeded my expectations on all counts. More than anything else, the entire staff is 100% service oriented and they go out of their way in making your stay comfortable. The property is placed in scenic location and kept very well. The breakfast spread is impressive, with an off menu vegetarian options. It’s close to old town (10 min by taxi or shuttle). Last but not the least, hotel provides complimentary drinking water, sounds small but a great service , which many 5 star resorts skimp on. I would highly recommend and would again stay here if I get the chance

Silk Sense Hoi An was, without a doubt, the best hotel from our trip around Vietnam! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff here are truly amazing—always friendly, helpful, and greeting us with a smile. The hotel itself is beautiful, and our room had a lovely view overlooking the river and Hoi An, making it a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The dining choices at the hotel were also impressive, with high-quality food and a great selection of dishes. The spa was also great. The massage and other services were of high quality! One of the highlights of our stay was the day trip to My Son, which the hotel organized perfectly. Everything was well-coordinated, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. We highly recommend Silk Sense Hoi An to anyone visiting the area. It truly made our trip special, and we would love to return!

Wish the pool can be warm up at this time of the year

On check in we were offered a paid upgrade from our pool/river view room to the sense villa. For the extra cost per night we instantly said yes. Amazing room with private pool! Hotel is in a good location with some nice places to eat nearby. Liked to free mini bus into Hanoi town, there was an issue with the bus one day and the hotel paid for a taxi to take us into town. Made use of the free cycle hire as well to explore around the area. All the staff were friendly. Variety of choice for breakfast. Would recommend and will definitely go back hopefully next year.

The resort is really beautiful and clean, it is a place to relax. The staff were fantastic. Among other resorts we saw in the surroundings, this was the best. Especially because it is respectful for the environment and not invasive to nature and village (unlike others). There is a free shuttle to the old town. As a recommendation, the old town is full of tourists and has not nicely evolved to an amusement park style. We went there in the evenings just for dinner and a small walk, this was enough to not get upset by the mass tourism. The best: enjoying the more authentic area nearby the hotel taking the free bikes they offer.

The tours and food that the hotel offers is really expensive (even more than what one should expect from a 5 star hotel). My advice is to book tours, transfers and food independently.
