The owner/operator couple are friendly and helpful. They provide 24/7 onsite support and gave us tips about where to visit. The hotel is very comfortable with functional cozy room, a small kitchen with cooktop and cooking tools, microwave and toaster oven. We have a dining/living room separate from the bedroom. I was so happy! It’s the best hotel we got this year among several trips so far. The location is close to many attractions and some restaurants, very convenient.

The toilet bowl clogged a bit with just a bit of normal bathroom tissue, so be careful.

Matt was a wealth of knowledge about the area and hikes that we could not get from the nearby Visitor Center and Ranger Station. In addition to the place being clean and quiet, customer service was like it is supposed to be. For example, when I asked for an extra towel, one was waiting for my return every day :) This young couple knows how to run a motel!

The shower was a little small, but that was a little minor thing.

The man working at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The pool was fantastic! The location was perfect, close to Flume Gorge and other hikes.

You can't go wrong staying at Profile Motel! We loved our stay and would most definitely stay again when we're in the area. The staff were kind and very accomodating by letting us dry our wet camping gear on their lawn. The rooms were lovely and comfy and they offered free coffee and tea in the reception area. Despite full occupancy, it was very quiet, both at night and in the morning while others were checking out. The location is perfect for exploring the Franconia Notch area, highway 112 and there are great places to eat in Lincoln and Woodstock. I can't say enough good things about Profile!

The owners were delightful people. They felt like family. They directed us to the perfect restaurant for dinner. They also surprised us with scones and muffins, though I don't believe it stated they serve any type of breakfast. The property was quaint and a good location for us. The room was cozy but comfortable. It had all we needed. We stayed in one of the cabins and liked the screened porch area. Check out the creek in back of the cabins. It was affordable and met our expectations. It was very homey.

It was a little vintage but that added to the character. The rooms were clean, but the grounds could have been cleaned up a little more. The pool looked nice but it was a little too chilly to swim the time we were there.

We came to the White Mtns to do the Presidential Traverse and needed a place to rest our weary legs afterwards before driving back to Philly the next day! The owners of Profile Motel (I'm blanking on their names but they are a husband/wife duo) were SO friendly and helpful. We checked in pretty late that evening and they were happy to give us food recs, let us know they had a pool and campfire on site we could use, and were genuinely interested in what brought us to the state. Our room had everything we needed (fridge, microwave, hot shower, comfy bed) and we'd definitely stay here again!

There really wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay. We ended up using the pool the next morning and it was great! The rooms are a little small but they have everything you need and the prices are very affordable so I was more than happy with our stay.

The Profile Motel is in the heart of the Franconia Notch region of the White Mountains. It’s minutes from “civilization” (restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters, etc.), and almost as close to some superb hiking. The motel itself appears to be an old one that has been updated with a lot of thoughtfulness and care — our room had new windows, a mini fridge, comfortable furnishings, and was very clean. The proprietors have coffee and ice available 24/7 in the small reception area, along with local hiking books and maps and helpful advice on local trails.

This is not the Holiday Inn or any other overpriced chain hotel. If that the kind of bland, unimaginative place you want to stay in, go somewhere else. This is a real 1950s style motel that has been lovingly maintained and refurbished. The owners have clearly worked hard to provide a comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation with a home-like feel. Perhaps all the furnishings don’t quite match but what is there is clean, well kept and in good order. When I checked in I was met by a charming man who obviously takes great pride in his establishment. He is a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area, more than happy to provide useful suggestions about where to eat, etc. The bathroom has been nicely updated, the bed was comfy, the fridge and microwave handy. There is no in-room coffee maker but good quality coffee is available in the lobby 24hours a day.

There is nothing to dislike - I would happily book this motel again.

I love coming back to this spot! The facilities are always clean and if you need anything, staff is always around. It’s right next to fantastic variety of hikes in Franconia State Park. There is a fridge and microwave in the room, no lockers, hot water was never a problem, toiletries. They offer complimentary tea/coffee at the front desk. The staff are the nicest people ready to help with anything. The territory of the motel itself is nice to walk around. Parking provided.

For the value, it was great!

It was a lovely place! The staff were always available for any questions and even helped me check in without leaving my car because of the rain, which was so thoughtful. There was also parking right next to the room, which was very convenient.
