This private house is on my list „one of the most happiest places on Earth!“ Tastefully decorated and clean. The Garden is wonderful and a little paradise. And the „Petit dejeuner“ was tasty and fresh. Vanessa, the Host, is such a lovely and wonderful person. She gave us a lot of hints. Thanks for all. Claudia and Manfred from Germany.

Vanessa was the best host, helpful with everything we asked. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, and exactly what you needed. Gardens were special and an oasis, and so relaxing. All in all a very personable experience, as you woud expect in as a guest in someone's house. Would highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For the price the rooms are far nicer than any equivalent hotel. Vanessa was extremely welcoming.

I liked everything but I would like to remind people that you are in a family's home. So if you are not used to that it might be strange for you.

We had a wonderful stay at Vanessa’s B&B. Great location, beautiful house/room. The place was sparkling clean and you can see the great efforts and thoughts Vanessa has put in to make this B&B amazing. The sauna and spa were fantastic! Vanessa was a wonderful host. We had an amazing time in La Rochelle. Will definitely come back again!

Without a doubt, the hostess Vanessa, was friendly, kind, and helpful. The house was very nice, the room was spacious, clean, and well decorated. The spa was quite cozy and intimate The breakfast was very good and healthy.

Although the room was large, it is quite enclosed because it faces the street, and opening the windows is not pleasant.

A beautiful house, very tastefully renovated. Vanessa the owner and our host was charming and super helpful. Her enthusiasm and pride in her home is infectious. We had a delightful, comfortable stay here. Location is superb. If you have time, a day trip to Il de Re is well worth it too!! A lovely start to our holiday. Thank you!!

Everything was incredible ☺️ In particular the location was perfect and the parking included with our room was a huge bonus as was the sauna ☺️ Vanessa was a fabulous host and the property had been decorated and furnished to the highest spec would definitely stay again

There isn’t anything I didn’t like

Amazing property renovated with great taste for design, the charm was kept and at the same time modern convenience was created. The atmosphere is very home-like and the hostess deserves a special hurray for friendliness, helpfulness, and being a super nice and interesting person. The room was spacious with a lot of daylight and all the conveniences. The Nordic bath is an amazing experience, especially in those days that aren't super hot, which can happen on the west coast. Great breakfast with a few interesting healthy specials like energy juices and spiced overnight oats! Location is great, very close to the old market, one of the city's clusters of great restaurants, walking distance to the harbor and the park.

Everything - attention to detail, Vanessa, location, the garden, the cat that chooses to hang out in the garden, the breakfast, the room.

Really, teeny tiny comment: we were in the downstairs room facing the main road. Ordinarily this wouldn’t have been a problem but with 30c heat, if you opened the window to get some air in, the traffic noise would prevent sleeping. We mentioned this to Vanessa who immediately provided a fan.

Super host, beatiful house and garden, sauna and nordic bath, very good breakfast, super clean, central location.
