Location was fantastic for what we were there for. I like the closeness to Scott Park, a nice little place with hiking trails and park benches, which I could walk to in the mornings before the main attractions, Presque Isle State Park! A/C kept the room nice even during a few days of 90 degrees! The bathroom and kitchen areas were setup away from the bedroom (the rest of room) so noises weren't readily heard in the sleep area. The small breakfast area was nice for a coffee and pastry or cereal. (Supposed to be 8am, but sometimes a bit late to start) Pool and picnic table area was nice for cooling off or just sitting out, between our area excursions.

Our particular unit did NOT have any indoor chair to sit at, so we were relegated to using the bed. Also, we were located next to the office and their laundry room, so there was a lot of foot traffic, but not an obnoxious amount of noise that you might expect.

The location was great for the price. There were alot of bad reviews on this place, so we were nervous. But I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. My parents came down and stayed also and were treated very well. I would stay again. It's like .3 miles from presque isle. And just in case you were wondering. We got our security deposit back promptly. And the rooms looked like they were remodeled recently.

We really enjoyed our time here! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The property is in a great location and the pool was nice.

So, the rooms could use a little updating and finishing touches to make it better. There were no towels in the room. Little holes in the wall that could be patched. There was a desk, but no chair. Our refrigerator door was rusted out at the bottom and fell off.

The motel was placed at the right place for what I wanted , comfortable bed , friendly staff

Someone a previous occupier had turned the fridge up to maximum and it was a solid block of ice so the fridge was running day and night I spoke to staff the next morning and the manager turned it off the next morning I had my own lake as it had completely defrosted so I used the towels and bath mat to soke the water up

The location was excellent - walking distance to grocery, restaurants, and amusement parks. the breakfast was nice, and the room was very clean.

The property is undergoing renovations, which is good, and unfortunately the pool was not yet ready for swimming.

Location was wonderful for us an the pool was great also. Breakfast was little but good

The bed could have been better an the bedding could have had a blanket on it

Location is fantastic - close to the Peninsula. The room was super clean which was VERY important to me. I felt safe in the place. The rooms were all filled. Clearly some updating had occurred - the bathroom was great like brand new - nice shower and mirror and white everything so a speck of dirt would show if there.

NO coffee! Not in the office or the room! I never heard of no coffee at a hotel. You have to walk down the street to McDonalds if you want coffee. Also I was expecting breakfast but they discontinued that at the start of the pandemic which wasn't updated online. The cover to the AC unit was dangling but the AC worked well. The price was high for no coffee even.

I appreciated how clean the room was. I love the location, easy to get everywhere! All the stores were also right there. Really nice place to stay! The staff was great.

That there wasn't a coffee machine. Also would be nice to be able to hang clothes on something, I don't like not being able to hang up clothes so they don't wrinkle.

I have stayed here before. We went by motorcycle so I like ground floor places with outside seating for that type of travel. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and well kept. I know this is not a 5 star place but it is less expensive and meets my needs. I have stayed at other similar motels in the area and this on is the best of the lot. There is yard space and picnic tables which were nice to hang out on late at night. If you want/need fancy and new hotels they are around but you will pay 3 to 4 times the amount. I like the Lake Erie Motel.

For the price not much needs improved. They have maintained it well and the location is excellent. The people are friendly and it has been maintained well. Any major improvements would with out a doubt would raise the price. It is what it is and I am glad not to have to pay $300+ just to stay overnight.

Close to stores. Clean hotel and quiet.

Not really a big problem but a/c would be really cold some days but then barely cold the next day. But it worked out. So not really a problem per say.
