It’s a very beautiful house, set on a private corner plot. We met the host Mike and he was a lovely person. Very welcoming, it felt like we’d known him all our life. We stayed there for one night due to a driving test booked locally. I’d love to stay there again. It’s very peaceful. The bed was super comfy, pillows were lovely and soft. Towels were just like home. I travel a lot and I hardly feel comfortable in hotels. At Beightons I felt like I was at home. For the money I paid, I thought it was a bargain. It’s not a modern property, but it’s clean, and I loved the old style things I saw there.

There’s a main rd nearby. We had the windows open slightly as it was a bit warm and you can hear the cars zoom by. I think an ac or a fan would help, and then you can jerk the windows closed.

Large, comfortable room, nice large ensuite with shower over the bath. The room had a good sized meal table, kettle, microwave, toaster and mini fridge. The house is in quite a quiet wooded area and is set in spacious grounds with plenty of parking. The owner, Mike, texted with details for us to find the house. Good value for money and a lucky find.

We were expecting a traditional B & B breakfast but instead there is a basic continental breakfast provided to eat in the room. I'm sure this suits a lot of people but you might need to plan your other meals around this. Perhaps a call to the owner would be useful to check details.

It was a painless transaction and the host was helpful and friendly, I loved the location and the added touches such as the Microwave, Kettle and toaster, milk and breakfast. It was well positioned for my trips into Bury Sy Edmonds and quiet. The heating was controllable as I like it cool and you can open the windows this is a must in such a lovely location so you can hear the wildlife Bathroom in the room was great and the shower was hot not miserable. Overall just great and I travel a lot and know what I like .

For me everything was perfect , only the tv caused me stress as I couldn't work it , should have read the manual in the drawer really, as a result though I did watch a documentary that I hadn't seen so not all bad , just couldn't muster the main TV menu.

It was secluded, ample parking, with a beautiful garden. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city (I work in London). Ample sized room, with a bath and shower to compliment, piping hot water with powerful pressure to match. The owner of this property, interacted prior to arrival, nothing was too much trouble, in fact, he was amiable, and made my stay despite a bad week with events beyond my control at home and work enjoyable. If you should wish to extract yourself from the hustle and bustle of city life, with comfort, WiFi and tv with breakfast to boot, don’t look to much further than Beightons. In terms of competition and cost, there are many more central, at “double the cost”, however, if you want a quiet location without the hassle Of parking and enjoy the countryside, this is the place to stay. I am humbled by the way I was welcomed by the owner, who despite having a busy lifestyle, made me feel at ease and comfortable. I unreservedly recommend Beightons Bed and Breakfast. This was my first stay, and I shall be booking again.

As critical as I could be, there are no faults in respect to this property.

My wife booked it for me, so I didn't have preconceptions. Communication was great, directions were good. It was near the location I needed to be at. It was a large room that could take 3. It has a large table / desk which was useful for me. Bathroom was great, with plenty of hot water. Bathroom wasn't on suite, but that didn't matter to me. Continental style breakfast was fine for me on this occasion, and kettle, toaster and microwave are all in the room, which meant that I didn't have to waste a lot of time going out for supper as I had some studying to do. (Large Tesco 10 mins away) Suited my needs. Thank you.

In an ideal world, a cooked breakfast is a pleasure when you are away, but I didn't need it on this occasion.

The owner was really friendly and accommodating, calling me beforehand to let me know they wouldn’t be there on my arrival to greet me and explained how to access the property. When I returned that evening, he made a point of coming to say hello as I came through the door, was really friendly and offered me bread and pastries for the morning. The room was lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotless. Lovely range of breakfast items and overall a lovely stay. I’ll definitely be staying again next time I’m visiting family there!! :)

All was great, and great value. Mike was particularly friendly and helpful. Didn't have much time to wander around the garden... next time!... but it looked lovely. Everything was as promised... Particularly like that Mike encouraged me to take with me whatever I wanted from the breakfast food, cos i was going to a music festival and it was very useful. I hope that the cereals, yogurts, tea etc which I left behind could get used for a follow-on guest. Will be back!

The price was great, and it would be a big hassle and not economically viable at that price... but I had unrealistic visions of black pudding / beans breakfast (the sort of stuff i love but never eat cos it's not the very healthiest ahem)

We had the family room, it was spacious, had everything you needed. Breakfast was served in our room, with a continental breakfast parcel delivered to your room door. The B&B is a charming house with lots of land, so feels quite remote but you are only approx 8 mins for everything and was very easy to get a taxi to places, I would recommend Getaway Cars, they were very reliable. Mike is a fabulous host, made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again.

Our daughter was in a room which wasn’t en-suite but that was not a problem as the bathroom was next to her room. Breakfast was served in the bedroom which is equipped with everything you needed. The fridge is very handy and had a bottle of fresh milk and orange juice and yogurt for breakfast. There was also a nice little tea making station with kettle and also a toaster and microwave. A box of breakfast items were delivered outside the door ready for when you wake up.

Some of our group would have liked a bit of cheese and ham with the breakfast. But personally I was happy with the breakfast selection.

We had our breakfast in the room which is unusual but I actually prefer it as you can just jump out of bed and eat breakfast at the little table provided. The room is fully equipped with fridge, microwave and most importantly a kettle with nice fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. The breakfast things are placed in a little box outside the door ready for when you wake up. The owner’s communication was excellent they made sure we knew exactly how to get to the property with clear directions and was there to greet us to explain all the things we needed to know.

I’ve got nothing bad to say about it.
