Stayed here numerous times for business trips as it’s conveniently close to the shopping centre and rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Parking is covered for standard cars, larger 4wd’s are easily parked on the grass area. The property managers are friendly and really helpful.

The staff and the facilities were very good. Although it was an older complex it was very functional and clean. The only mark against it, was that it was near a busy road and traffic sound was noisy. Also booking.com said it was close to town centre when it was over 1.25km from it.

It was so clean and was actually really nice and the bed was great especially for having a fractured tailbone. The staff she was amazing even though we checked in late, she served with a smile. Would definitely stay again

The only thing that was not good was the wifi, but that was still OK cause we had data on our phones

The location was perfect for our requirements as we were walking to the Cherry Street Sports Club on most days. Avlon Motel is also within walking distance of shopping centres and the Richmond River.

We were a little disappointed that Avlon Gardens did not provide breakfast as advertised on its website.

Property in good location for my visit to see family across the road from motel. Older style Motel was clean and bed very comfortable. Very spacious and liked that a toaster was available in the room. We were made to feel very welcome

Even the linen was quality. I met Olivia first and then James as well the next morning. They were friendly and really made me feel welcome. I will definitely stay there again - going so far as to structure my journeys up and down the coast deliberately to stay with them.

There was nothing to not like. They spoke of getting new linen and adding some of their own touches but I hope they don't change too much because it was easily the best motel room I stayed in in 5 trips up and back Melbourne to Brisbane.

Great spot to stop. Really comfy bed, spacious room and the location is right near the shopping centre. Bathroom is lovely and clean. Mini fridge and microwave in the room as well as plates and cutlery. Undercover parking. The room was quiet overnight and block out blinds made it super dark which was fantastic.

I booked this motel for a friend visiting from Melbourne. Great pick-up from the Airport and our friend was able to stay an extra hour without charge, for us to pick her up! Thank you to the very kind and helpful owners!!

Central to everything, close to facilities and beaches. Room was great spacious and unassuming. It was well stocked with facilities for tea and coffee milk and cutlery cups and glasses and fridge and microwave and Jug.

Liked everything about room and pool

Friendly greeting and easy check in. Room was clean and well looked after, bathroom was retro and original tiling which I found astounding. Location was handy, we didn’t walk anywhere but it would have been possible. On a busy road but didn’t notice when we closed the windows.

Minor cleaning concern was a section of visible mould in a hard to reach area of the shower door. Conscious it’s the high season but $240 a night seemed excessive for a motel, in saying that conscious that was the going rate in the area when booked under 2 weeks out.
