Room with a view: We had requested front-facing rooms, and the hotel delivered exactly that. Loved waking up to the view! Free parking: Convenient and free parking just behind the hotel—big plus! Awesome location: The hotel is in a great part of Albury—quiet, clean, and surrounded by shops and restaurants within walking distance. Family-friendly lobby: The lobby had fun activities like snooker and games, which kept the kids entertained and gave it a warm, relaxed vibe. Friendly staff: Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. Great food: The restaurant on the ground floor served delicious food—we highly recommend trying it during your stay.

Honestly, nothing major stood out as a negative. Just note that parking is around the back, which might not be immediately obvious when you arrive—but it’s free and easy to access. Overall: A comfortable and enjoyable stay at Atura Albury. Great for families, short stopovers, or anyone wanting a chill stay in a nice neighbourhood. Would happily return!

I had a great stay at Atura Albury. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are very comfortable — perfect for a relaxing night’s sleep. I especially appreciated being able to open the windows for some fresh air, which is a nice touch you don’t always get in hotels. The self-serve check-in and check-out process was seamless and super convenient, saving time and making the whole experience smooth. Car parking was easy to access, and the location is excellent — just a short walk to the Botanic Gardens and the beautiful Murray River walking track. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the food — the quality was a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the experience. That said, overall it’s a comfortable and well-located place to stay, and I’d definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, but what really stood out was their compassionate service when my husband came down with food poisoning on checkout day. The staff graciously allowed him to stay in the room until 5pm instead of the usual 12pm checkout so he could rest and recover. The room was comfortable and clean, and the overall service throughout our stay was excellent. It’s rare to find a hotel that goes above and beyond like this when guests are in distress. We truly appreciated their kindness and flexibility during a challenging moment. Highly recommend!

Check in and out process was easy, staff were extremely friendly and helpful and rooms were spacious. The room looked very welcoming, clean and well equipped; the bathroom was light, bright with a lovely walk-in shower (the shower head was lovely, water pressure great and temperature perfect). Towels were soft! Bed was comfortable - a bit too soft but that’s a personal preference - but easy to watch the TV from, there was also a sofa, table and chairs, desk, and fridge. There was a pool but we didn’t have time to use it and the lobby/bar area featured a pool table. Breakfast could be booked (giving you a significant discount) and was simply delicious! There were so many hot and cold options to choose from.

Could use a handrail in the shower to avoid the risk of falls, particularly for those with mobility issues. Didn’t really need a fully stocked fridge as there were items available at reception and there was a bar downstairs as well. Besides which, they were extremely expensive. Could have used a hot chocolate sachet instead of just the tea and coffee options (again, just a personal preference as we don’t drink tea or coffee.) Not really enough good lighting available in the room for reading as the bed lights were quite dim. An extra power point or two for charging devices would have been nice too.

We LOVED the handy location and eating our delicious gluten free meals out on the deck each night. The staff were soooo careful to check to ensure food safety as well n the foods were delicious 😋 Your wine list is very yummy and Bombay sapphire a hit. Would u reconsider stocking just a few bottles of Hahn Gluten Free larger???

The out side deck dining tables were always grubby n had bird poo. Might help if you put up the new umbrellas to shield the chairs n tables from poop. The rooms are huge! But they have stain spots on the carpeting and the chairs n cushions. Towels are very clean but some have huge holes and the little refrigerator was NEVER cold.

The room is a good, generous size. The beds are comfortable. Everything was clean. The bathroom was a good size but for some reason they didn't bother to put a door on the shower. I assume that almost everyone coming to Albury would be driving, so the location is largely irrelevant.

Don't eat at the restaurant in the hotel. We ate there for dinner because we were too tired to find somewhere else. The menu looked okay, but what arrived was a big disappointment. The staff also gave almost no service at all. We had breakfast included in our stay, so we were back there again the next morning. Slightly better but not good food or good value for money.

I’ve stayed at Aturu a few times, it’s the only hotel I stay at when I’m in town. I first stayed there many years ago when it was the Country Comfort Hotel!! I love that upgrades it’s had over the years. It’s always been very welcoming, neat, clean, well presented and close to everywhere I need to be. And it was lovely to be rewarded daily with a $10 voucher for not requiring my room to be attended to by the lovely housekeeping. I will be back next time I’m in town. Thank you Aturu :)

Loved how spacious it was. The double was big and very comfy. Good size TV we attached our chromecast for our kids. The swimming pool was nice for the kids to cool down. Good private parking space. Our family room was actually a duplex room so it was really nice we could leave the median doors wide open and still have the feeling of privacy, with older children we all could have our space. also because it was two room made into one we had two bathrooms and with a large family it was PERFECT!

The noise outside. During the day it was quiet, but to our surprise the nightlife was pretty noisy and it felt like our windows were open with the amount of noise coming from outside. Also For a family room there wasn’t a kitchen available, which was inconvenient for a family. No microwave to heat up baby food.

Staff were friendly- in particular Emily. Emily is a valued member of your team - she always had a smile on her face, was chatty and friendly. Emily would be the reason I’d book there again.

It was extremely disappointing to be kicked out of the pool due to a private function. When we book accommodation we always look at the facilities available and book accordingly. We were in town for a basketball competition and after a long day in the court my kids were looking forward to a swim only to be told to leave after 10mins. I spoke to Emily at the time who was very apologetic and gave us a complimentary breakfast. Emily was fantastic about it. I feel something like this should be communicated with guests when they book especially when you have guests staying in the middle of summer. Also we were in the first floor and the music from the function was very loud at times during the night.

Good facilities and handy location on the main street. Great to have a pool and lots of parking available. There were many restaurants nearby when the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday. Breakfast that was included in the price was one of the best buffet breakfasts we’ve had in hotels in Australia. Staff were friendly and we felt looked after.

The building is not the newest and it shows in some places, even though it is well refurbished not so long ago. Carpark was behind the hotel and a direct access to the lobby would have bern a god thing to have.
