Had a very nice stay while we explored Cinque Terra. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The location next to the train station was ideal for us and we never heard any noise from it so that was really good. Breakfast was small and across the street but we enjoy European Danishes which where excellent. They also helped with a parking spot which I was happy to pay for.

We had a rental car and drove there. Google maps lead us to the wrong location. I was able to contact the hotel and they were very helpful with getting us there. Even met us on the street so we didn't miss them.

The hotel was as described, nice clean room, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices, including a warm section of scrambled eggs and bacon. Many different meats, cheeses, bakery goods and coffee options were available. Nice clean breakfast/dinner area. We had our first day dinner at the hotel, wonderful dishes and an amazing chef choice option, which is different each day. Great location and easy to walk to downtown and the train station. They do provide a free shuttle service for when you arrive and leave to help pack out your stuff. The room was clean, with a nice size bathroom and the beds were comfortable. From the deck, if walk to the right and look to left you can see the Matterhorn...Bonus!

it's proximity to the train station because we were planning on going on day trips to Cinque Terre. The air conditioning was great (not many places actually have air conditioning that goes below 75 degrees F. This was perfect for the high summer temperatures. There was someone at the host desk all the time during the day so we were helped promptly when there was a problem. Martina and Ilaria were amazing but they all were nice, helpful, and efficient. The rooms were just the right size for what we intended.. only to sleep at night. We didn't need a large sitting room so it was perfect. Also, just as other reviews state "you can NOT hear the trains" even if you are actually in the train station. We had a fan going along with the air so maybe that white noise blocked out the low hum which you had to strain to hear. I couldn't believe that part. They gave you a coupon to get your breakfast of "a coffee and croissant (brioche feuilletee)" which was actually amazing. It is about a 2 min walk across the square and down the steps at the Cafe Mercedes. (owner's name is Mercedes she is great and the helper was Alfredo but called billy!" beds were super comfortable compared to others we slept in. best location

This is not a "dislike" but when you GPS it, it sends you down the street. The directions say "As soon as you leave the train station go to your left and it will be by the little bar/burger place. " However there are TWO ways to leave the train station and we came out on the one to the left so we went the wrong way. (It was to the right) If you come out of the MAIN terminal entrance it is to the left, but if you come out the other one, to the right. I took some pictures because I never found a single one in all the reviews, AND that would have been most helpful!!! It is honestly less than a 1-minute walk to the train station because it is IN THE train station.

The hotel is located in the same building as the train station. Google maps sent us down the wrong road. After some time with the help of the staff found the right location. The staff is wonderful and speaks very good English. They were helpful and responsive to all our messages. The hotel is nearly renovated and clean. Located centrally right at the La Spezia train station. For breakfast you will get a coupon for a nearby cafe that will get you a coffee and a croissant. They have free lockers to store luggage before/after your stay. Parking is 15 euros from 10am-10am at a nearby garage.

I could have given "Excellent" for this property but check-in was so difficult because it's hard to sed the numbers in the lock box. Also the instructions were not in accordance to the pictures sent. It took us more than 20 minutes to figure out where our room was On the positive side, location is just a few steps to the La Spezia train station making it so accessible. There was one time that I had a special request and the staff acted fast. The breakfast from C'est si Bon was nice. The room was quite small for 4 people but everyday our room is being cleaned. Overall we would recommend this property. It is near the plaza where restaurants and shops abound. 🥰

Affittacamere Casa Dane' is in a excellent location, right at the train station, above the platforms. This is very convenient for visiting the Cinque Terre, it is easy to catch an early train and return late in the evening because you do not have to walk far to get to your room. It is also convenient for buying train tickets or passes. The room was well appointed and although we looked out over the station platforms it was not noisy. The person who checked us in was very nice and helped us with our luggage as there is no elevator. It is an easy walk to the cafe where breakfast is provided, and also to get the shopping and restaurant precinct of La Spezia. There is a good sized supermarket nearby, great for snacks and drinks etc.

Location is really great if your intention was visiting Cinque terre, right at the train station. It was a heat wave during our stay and air conditioning was working great. Clean and big bathroom, more than enough towels, for 1-2 nights stay the room is great. Fridge to cool your drinks or keep some snacks. Great and friendly staff speaking english. Got a coupon for breakfast nearby and a reservation in a garage not so nearby. Garage place is quite small so keep attention while parking SUVs.

Little hard to find since both maps and waze didn't recognize the street and was directing us one street below the train station. Would suggest to add a map with roundabout and direction where the aparments are to the booking pictures.

This is not like a traditional hotel which we liked. Rooms seem to be renovated recently, we had four different styles booked. Note this is at the actual train station, in the same building just a different door. You do not hear the trains in your room. Very convenient for those traveling by train.

Advertised free public parking but the parking garages are full as your at the train station. They have parking you can pay for but it is a distance and only three spots for the building. The description states the paid parking is just outside the hotel and that is not true. Also, the listing states "light breakfast served a few steps away" and it is not a few steps, you have a walk to a cafe for a coffee and roll. There is no one at the front desk in the evenings or early morning. The air conditioning was not very cold at all. We even spoke to housekeeping and it was as low as it could go. The directions for the hotel location need to be better, GPS takes you down below.

The hotel located literally at the door step of the Cinque Terre Nature Park as the hotel reception and rooms occupies the second floor of the Train Station building - the train station from which you board the local train line to hop on and off and visit all the small and beautiful villages of the the reserve. Although the the rooms are close to the station, which is very busy during the day, it is very quite at nigh so no worries about any noise. Nice small breakfast is served in a bar 2 min walk from the Hotel. We also appreciated the possibility to reserve and use the privet garage parking within the public underground garage for an extra fee - I think its worth for the peace of mind. Short walk to the city central pedestrians streets with large selection of restaurants and meal options.

No elevator.

It was very close to station, as we were going to chinque terre, location is very convenient. Very good communication with stuff before areival, as we were checking in late due to traffic. I was a bit affraid about noise, but our room was facing street, so not noisy. We slept very well.

Room is a bit tight. If you need parking- reserve in advence, we needed to put car in station underground which was a bit expensive. Just good to know- in breakfeat you get coupon and need to go across the street to cafe to have coffe and crousant.
