Fantastic location. 5 minutes away from the station, so very easy to get to Cinque Terre. Also 20 minutes walk from harbour to pick up ferry

Firstly, I E-mailed a week before arrival to ask if we could leave our luggage on day of arrival as check-in wasn’t until 3pm….. Response several days later was ‘yes dear’ and no more than that. We arrived around 1.30pm and found the apartment but had to lose ourselves as we couldn’t check in or leave bags. At 7 minutes past 3pm we received a message to ask if we had arrived and, if so, we had to go to a different address. It was only 5 mins away but more notice would have been good and we could have gone straight there. Secondly, although there was a coffee machine with two pods, we had to purchase more for 1 euro each. This wasn’t a problem, the problem was that the coffee pod machine was broken and although reported, wasn’t fixed so for 2 mornings, we didn’t have coffee.

The location of the property is near the central part of La Spezia and close to the train station to the towns of Cinque Terre. Elettra was simply amazing in her meet-up, explaining to us about the property, how to get to Cinque Terre, dining suggestions. Everything was well thought out and it extended also to all amenities in this property. Parking was convenient, near the property and could fit our 9-seater van. We loved our time here. Would have loved if the air conditioning could be turned on for cooling. It was set on a heater function and could not be altered. We understand that this is because the time of our visit was during winter.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le 5 Terre La Spezia, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for a comfortable and affordable stay. The hotel is situated in a central location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring both La Spezia and the stunning Cinque Terre region. The train station is a block away and makes traveling to the region and daily travel between the villages very easy. Unfortunately our train was cancelled due to a strike but we were able to rent a car and drive from Florence. The hotel has a handful of spots at the parking garage next door which accommodated our sudden change of plans. The value for money here is impressive. For a very reasonable rate, you get a cozy and well-maintained room with all the essential amenities. We did not see or interact with the staff as we arrived each day after normal hours but they were always ready to provide useful local tips and recommendations via whatsapp. The central location was a major plus—close to public transport, local eateries, and shopping. This allowed us to easily access the nearby Cinque Terre villages without any hassle. Overall, Le 5 Terre La Spezia offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value. If you're looking for a base in La Spezia to explore the beautiful Cinque Terre area, I highly recommend considering this hotel.

There are two different buildings which was confusing as Google Maps only has the other building in their system.

A charming little hotel! The staff is just wonderful, they were sweet, very informative and always pleasant. They gave us amazing recommendations, helped to arrange everything and were really pleasant and charming. The location is wonderful - right next to the train station that leads to cinque terre conveniently, near the center of the city of La Spezia with food and things to do around and walking distance from the port. The room is cozy, big and clean!

The shower is small and the current is not good. Parking there is very expensive - 35 euros per day - the most expensive we paid in Italy per day

The gorgeous staff gave us a very friendly welcome. The room was amazing looking g from out side we were really surprised to find this very beautiful and thoughtful layout and decor, great value for money. Location so close to the train station so we got an early start next day to Cinque Terre. Walked to port where we did sunset tour , restaurants and bars near by. The hotel supplied great info on restaurants, train and busy schedules even recommended places to eat at the five villages of Cinque.

The women at reception were very friendly and helpful. As part of the checking in process, we received a welcome package that included information and timetables for train and boat rides to Cinque Terre. The receptionists were happy to answer any questions that we had. Le 5 Terre La Spezia is only a short walk from the railway station- so it is a great location if you want to take the train to Cinque Terre. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated- with a great shower! Please note that this review is now for the correct hotel :)

The hotel is really comfortable. Quite quaint. Staff ever so friendly and helpful. It smells lovely which makes you relax as soon as you enter the reception. The staff is always Ready to help with any queries you may have during your stay. Also very safe. The only thing it could improve on is the cleanliness of the room. It’s not bad but my used cup of coffee remained on the side for all of the four days I was there. Also it would be good if there was more milk in the room as two little pods of milk are not sufficient for two people. All in all I would use them again the next time I visit cinque terre

Just the lack of attention to details when cleaning the room.

Everything was great! We had a lovely room called Monterosso with a really comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. We used a parking space for 2 days (30€ per day) which was just around the corner and the location itself is a 10. Cross a street and walk for a minute - voila you're at the trainstation. We got a lot of information about getting to cinque terre, got a timetable for the trains, recommendations for restaurants and the coffeemachine in the room was a nice luxury. Great stay, would definitely book again!

Literally nothing to complain

Excellent location just a stones throw from the main train station. Clean, quiet, lovely ladies on desk who gave us lots of good info for our short stay. Good value voucher for Italian breakfast taken at one of 3 cafes €5 coffee juice and pastry.

Our room didn’t have a window or in the bathroom but it didn’t bother us too much as we were out all day and only slept there.

1. Location is near train station and city center 2. We stayed in Monterosso Room was clean, newly refurbished quite spacious 3. Shower has good water pressure - no problems with smells 4. We were here in october so area is not noisy

No windows only a balcony door which was like a building entrance - when open you go into the street ( Monterosso) we could not leave it open for fresh air as anyone from street could have entered ( door Knob was also outside).
