Our second room ! We moved after one night - double booked ! 2nd room was much better - this bedroom was spacious as described in booking.com Bath towels were fab & shower room was large & very modern Host explained everything re area , restaurants etc which was helpful and in fairness he left us two small bottles of Prosecco & waived our city tax due to room mix up! Train station nearby but they stopped around midnight - if they ran any later, they didn’t disturb us . Good security! Car parking available if requested Breakfast at two local cafes about 5 minutes away - drink, croissant & orange juice both options ok tho C’est Bon wins by a slight margin Fabulous steak restaurant five minutes away on corner, called Nana -Meat & Wine. T Bone steak to share was awesome

First room was 11mt sq-overbooked & we took the hit! Mattresses in both room squeaked like hell every time we turned over! External entrance to apartment block & internal hallways leading to apartment really need some work - appreciate this is not our host’s responsibility as such but it’s not a great start to a stay here. There are a lot of stairs to climb so not suited for anyone with mobility problems

This is one apartment in a flat of six independent units, up a hill and then two flights of stairs. The breakfast involves taking tokens to one of two nearby cafes (C’est Bon was the better of the two). It was modern and nicely decorated, very clean, extremely close to the station (little noise), and very good communication with Alessandro through WhatsApp (though we never actually met him.

The approach is through the tunnel under the railway lines, quite dingy (though probably safe as families with children were walking through too). Make sure you get clear directions before you arrive. The bed was not kingsize, as we are used to, so a little snug. The bedside tables were so tiny, could put hardly anything on them.

I highly recommend the place! It's easy to find, the staff are friendly, and the room was very comfortable and clean.

My only concern was regarding breakfast, as I am accustomed to having a larger breakfast that sustains me until late lunchtime. I understand that this is the Italian culture, hence their breakfast typically consists of just coffee, a croissant, and orange juice. However, in other places where I have stayed, they offered more diverse and satisfying options :) Other than this, I was very pleased with the accommodation.

Nice host super helpful. Room is very clean and everything seems new. Bathroom and the shower was nice ! Great location easy to reach.

Right next to the train station so it can be a bit noisy with the window open, but if you close it you barely hear anything

The room is very clean and spacious. Alessandro was very kind sending all the necessary information upfront. The guest house is very well located, a few meters from the main street and the train station.

Central location - near the center, restaurants, railway station, harbor. Staff was really helpful - although we haven't met, the Whats app communication was immediate. Parking is quite challenge in this area, but if you book the parking slot with the owner, no problem. We agreed with the owner to stay 2 hours extra with no additional fee. Great help for us! Nice breakfast in the contracted coffee shop - on the way to the train we used to travel to Cinque Terre.

You can hear the noise from the trains, but as the traffic is not so high, you can manage it. The house looks really old fashioned from outside, but you will be really pleasantly surprised with the size, cleanliness and furnishing of the apartment.

This place is really handy if you're travelling by train (turn left out of the station, left through the tunnel, left and left) and a short walk from the centre of La Spezia. You can't hear the trains if you keep the windows closed. The owner is friendly and helpful and the bathroom is great. The aircon worked a treat. Nice touch that they leave you a plug-in thing to keep the mosquitoes at bay and there's a kettle in the room. For breakfast, you can use your voucher at a choice of places and it's OK, especially if you go to C'est Bon rather than Elite.

The rooms are a bit tight for space on one side and I'm covered in bruises after my stay here after banging into the sharp corners of the bed mutiple times. The hairdryer was a bit frustrating to use too and it didn't work well. Finally, if the guests in nearby rooms are noisy as they were for us, you hear everything.

Great Idea to have all the access sorted remotely. Codes for the doors worked well. Breakfast place was really good (but choose c'est bon) for me. The most anti social person ever. Not to have to deal with humans is great 😁 loved the room . Heating worked as was need and the bathroom was brilliant

Not the easiest to find. Don't try and downsize the walk from the station etc.

Very nice room, very clean, close to the train station, close to restaurants.

The room is situated on the second floor and there is no elevator, not suitable for a certain age and physical condition. We didn't meet the host but he gave us all the details we needed on the phone.

Location is closed to train station and easy to walk. Accommodagion is cleaned and privately. Room manager is always in contact and give very clear information.

No elevator, but not a big deal.
