Lovely, clean room, nicely decorated and very cozy. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom was very clean and perfectly functional. The location was great for the wedding we were attending, and the staff was very friendly.

It was slightly odd that the staff came and made the bed and took the rubbish a few mornings while we were there, but didn't replace the dirty coffee cups and glasses we had left on the side. Not a major issue, just would've been nice to have fresh cups each day.

Location was fine for us as we were visiting daughter who lives in Kintore. The rooms are all upstairs which was fine for us, they do not do a cooked breakfast but you can order a continental breakfast which is delivered to a fridge on your landing at a cost of £8.50. We did not have this so I cannot say if this is value for money. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and food was good likewise service. The room was lovely and has a good shower. We will stay there again.

A cooked breakfast would be a good option. But that was the only down side. But didn't really matter to us as we could go to our daughter.

The room was clean and welcoming. All the necessary stuff was there (hairdryer, shampoo, soap, tea, coffee, kettle). The staff was kind. There is a pub just under the room and you can seat to take a beer and watch some football match

Unfortunately, we stayed for just one night during the week and the pub did not serve any food. The town is quite small so there are not so many choices for dinner. In any case the staff allowed us to eat some delivery food on the pub tables just ordering a beer

Friendly welcome and guidance from reception staff. Good location for our holiday. Noise from the beer garden ended at a reasonable time. Good size of double room Grab and go breakfast was easy to order and we got what we needed We would certainly book the Square again for future trips.

Shower room extractor fan didn't work, and looked more like a candyfloss machine, needs a vacuum nozzle taken to it. Had we been staying longer than one night, we would have asked for this to be attended to

Used as a sleepover venue only as was visiting friends who live nearby. easy to find with free public carpark just round corner. Buses would pass front door for easy drop off and train station not too far away. Very warm welcome on arrival, everything well explained when shown to room. Room was spacious and comfortable, tea/coffee/biscuits provided in room Although not used, Restaurant, Bar/Lounge looked very nice. Very informative email prior to arrival advising about parking, check in/out times etc. Nice Beer Garden area to rear of property.

Couldn't see any toiletries such as shower gel but didn't look too hard as we took our own. Didn't affect our stay but might be worth asking in advance if you usually use hotels rather than carry your own. No breakfast available, again didn't detract from our stay as we knew in advance and had made other plans. There is a small Cafe across the road but this is not open on a Sunday.

Fabulous little gem of a place. The staff couldnt do enough for us. There is a great little restaurant attached and we had a lovely 3 course meal and drinks for just over £60. Would definitely stay again and recomend.

If you struggle with mobility then the stairs to rooms may be a problem, but other than that i couldnt fault this place at all.

The bedroom was personally the best I have ever been in. Nice warm quality shower good quality towels. Biscuits that came with coffee and tea. Definitely come back here again if I am in the area

The rooms weren't quite sound proof to people next door but that is expected so I can't take off points it's only an annoyance if you are up early in the morning

Property was fantastic for the price and area. It was extremely comfortable. Mostly a very small premise attached to a local small pub. Keys were given and access was through a separate door. Was very private and quiet.

Unfortunately no breakfast on offer or information to get something nearby for breakfast or lunch. No shower product but there was a basket that was handy for help Yourself to use from items that had been left by others..hair products etc. great idea.

Convenient location for us, very friendly and helpful staff. Late check in not a problem and access to the room was easy with door code. Great to have iron and ironing board easily available. Good sized and comfortable room. Good value. Nice to have the convenience of a pub on site.

Noisy tap in bathroom. Bath towels could be bigger and fluffier. Confirmation email out of date (still has details about Christmas opening times on it). Maybe some more healthy breakfast options and something more 'Scottish' on offer?! The tables in the bar area were very wobbly - we kept spilling our drinks whilst eating breakfast!

Service was spot on & room couldn’t be faulted. Everything was clear but details weren’t over the top within the room

My own fault! The food looks phenomenal however, within the pub, they don’t serve at that beginning half of the week. They do send comments in the message but it won’t show on the email. Just be mindful of this. Not their fault it’s a booking.com automated issue
