Comfy bed, Warm, cozy room, Good sized bathroom with heated towel rail - a warm towel is like a welcoming hug 🤗, Large shower stall with good water pressure 🚿, Nicely appointed, Very clean, Fun deer decor 😂, Bin emptied, bed made, & tea things cleaned/replenished each morning!, Extra hangers quickly produced on request 😃, Quiet 'neighbours', Nice size telly, Real feather, firm cushions on the bed so good support when sitting up, Roller blind very good at light blocking, Personable, friendly, helpful staff 🤩 Decent, free parking very close by, Excellent King Kebabji next door 😋, & other takeaways within a short walk, Iron & board in hallway, Fridge in hallway.

- Room TOO warm first night (thought I'd melt😆) but that was MY fault for turning both rads up to full 😂, - Kettle took forever to heat, & had to be moved to the nightstand due to the socket location - needs a longer lead so you can leave it on the sill, - Shower head loose in holder so unadjustable 🫤 (be an easy fix with a white cable tie), - Couldn't get the window open (but that could be me, not the window)', - Would be more sensible if the table under the TV was a chest of drawers so casual clothes etc could be put away instead of hung, - Room not large but perfectly suitable for my purposes, - Chair should be green to match the stool, - Could use a picture hung over a very large chip in bathroom paint.

Fairly close to train station - checkin was swift and thereafter by an entrance that was separate from the pub. Comfy bed, good shower.

I was given a room at the very top of the building four steep flights but not too long. I’m a cyclist and had to carry my bike (luckily foldable) to my room each day as the offered place to store it would not be accessible until 4pm daily. Someone with a big suitcase may struggle a bit - especially if elderly. Note - if you arrive later you only food option is a Kebab shop opposite - the hotel offers no food at all.

Lovely, clean room, nicely decorated and very cozy. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom was very clean and perfectly functional. The location was great for the wedding we were attending, and the staff was very friendly.

It was slightly odd that the staff came and made the bed and took the rubbish a few mornings while we were there, but didn't replace the dirty coffee cups and glasses we had left on the side. Not a major issue, just would've been nice to have fresh cups each day.

Location was fine for us as we were visiting daughter who lives in Kintore. The rooms are all upstairs which was fine for us, they do not do a cooked breakfast but you can order a continental breakfast which is delivered to a fridge on your landing at a cost of £8.50. We did not have this so I cannot say if this is value for money. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and food was good likewise service. The room was lovely and has a good shower. We will stay there again.

A cooked breakfast would be a good option. But that was the only down side. But didn't really matter to us as we could go to our daughter.

The room was clean and welcoming. All the necessary stuff was there (hairdryer, shampoo, soap, tea, coffee, kettle). The staff was kind. There is a pub just under the room and you can seat to take a beer and watch some football match

Unfortunately, we stayed for just one night during the week and the pub did not serve any food. The town is quite small so there are not so many choices for dinner. In any case the staff allowed us to eat some delivery food on the pub tables just ordering a beer

Travelled for a wedding - found his this lovely little hotel, very comfortable and convenient, and the staff were really lovely and friendly. In fact, they made the stay - and the gentleman running the place was helping me with my suit! Special place for sure

Think a few little things like the heating seemed to be automatic and not adjustable, and the shower's hot water doesn't permanently stay on.. but other than that, it was perfect

Friendly welcome and guidance from reception staff. Good location for our holiday. Noise from the beer garden ended at a reasonable time. Good size of double room Grab and go breakfast was easy to order and we got what we needed We would certainly book the Square again for future trips.

Shower room extractor fan didn't work, and looked more like a candyfloss machine, needs a vacuum nozzle taken to it. Had we been staying longer than one night, we would have asked for this to be attended to

Used as a sleepover venue only as was visiting friends who live nearby. easy to find with free public carpark just round corner. Buses would pass front door for easy drop off and train station not too far away. Very warm welcome on arrival, everything well explained when shown to room. Room was spacious and comfortable, tea/coffee/biscuits provided in room Although not used, Restaurant, Bar/Lounge looked very nice. Very informative email prior to arrival advising about parking, check in/out times etc. Nice Beer Garden area to rear of property.

Couldn't see any toiletries such as shower gel but didn't look too hard as we took our own. Didn't affect our stay but might be worth asking in advance if you usually use hotels rather than carry your own. No breakfast available, again didn't detract from our stay as we knew in advance and had made other plans. There is a small Cafe across the road but this is not open on a Sunday.

Good location for access to Inverurie and Aberdeen The no breakfast option was good as meant you could awake/rise when ready and you can order a delicious hot filled roll for collection at the butchers shop next door.

The floorboards from room above were extremely squeaky and we had a lot of disturbed sleep through the night because of it.

Fabulous little gem of a place. The staff couldnt do enough for us. There is a great little restaurant attached and we had a lovely 3 course meal and drinks for just over £60. Would definitely stay again and recomend.

If you struggle with mobility then the stairs to rooms may be a problem, but other than that i couldnt fault this place at all.
