Incredibly friendly staff. We were with relatives who speak Italian, but (from my passport I guess) they found out it was my birthday and brought us free prosecco and chianti during dinner. Not sure if being with Italian speakers had anything to do with this but it was wonderful. They also accommodated our 5:00 a.m. checkout and called us a taxi. We'd heard that getting taxis at that time (or any time) was a bit iffy as they often don't show up, but this was quick and flawless.

The location close to the airport is why I chose this hotel. But the area itself offers nothing much and looks a bit scruffy.

We liked the staff, service, proximity to the airport and restaurants and of course the price. Expectations were met for this price point, but keep your expectations real - it’s not a 5 Star property people! Speaking of people, the staff were excellent.

The bathroom could have been a bit nicer. It was very clean, but specifically the “adjustable” shower head couldn’t be adjusted and was held in place with duct tape! However, it did stay in place you could still use it as a hand held, but it not what you would expect or want from any hotel. The windows had a metal exterior shade that we never were able to open but again we were there for 12 hours - eat, sleep and catch a very early flight.

The room that we stayed at was a really nice size and the decor was very nice. The bathroom in the room was very clean , the shower was on the large size . There is a restaurant onsite that served a great breakfast . In the evening the restaurant had a wide variety of delicious dinner selections to choose from . The manager of the restaurant was very pleasant every day. On most evenings we had a server named Danielle , who was very kind and always had a big smile . There was a little of a language barrier , as we all tried to communicate the best that we could . It made the dinner experience entertaining , fun and lots of laughter . The food at the restaurant was a 5 * + ! . The restaurant should try and advertise so more local people can enjoy the delish food . I also want to mention that the hotel in the lobby was tastefully decorated and there is a quant relaxing patio sitting area right outside from the main entrance . The two front desk staff ; one was a beautiful blonde and the other was a very pretty brunette ( so sorry , I don't recall your names ) The both , were always very helpful in any inquires that we had . We did seem to have a very hard time getting any taxi service and sometimes we would contact over six taxi services . The front desk blonde always was persistent in getting a taxi service to come . Much appreciated !! Over all the Hotel Mirage was EXCELLENT !!!! Looking forward in staying here again . I wish the hotel and it's outstanding staff all the best life has to offer . I have No Complaints .

Breakfast was excellent. Cleaning service was spot on too. Comfortable bed and enough space for my personal belongings (i.e. clothes, laptop, papers, luggage, etc...). Loved the temperature unit that kept the room cool which made for cozy nights.

During my entire stay there were mosquitoes and as a result I was not able to sleep well. The wifi was also spotty which made for some frustrating moments. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

The staff was very helpful getting us to the airport on time. It was easy getting to the rooms. Even though it was Easter Sunday their restaurant was still open so we could eat. All the surrounding restaurants were closed, and since this hotel is not where the historic sites are there we’re not a lot of restaurant options.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. We are very satisfied with the accommodation, it was comfortable, clean and tidy. Special praise goes to the cleaners, who cleaned the room very well every day, every day all the towels were changed, the room was vacuumed, and the bed linen was changed. The reception staff is very friendly and ready to help. The breakfast is very good, coffee, tea, croissants, certain salami, cheeses and an omelette are offered. The parking in front of the hotel is large, spacious, and safe. The hotel is located in a great location, near the tram station and the airport. All in all, the Mirage hotel left a great impression on us. If we ever decide to come to Florence again, we will definitely stay at the Mirage Hotel. Great recommendation.

Much nicer on the inside then it looks from the outside. Staff was friendly and very helpful in getting us settled in.

Mattress was terrible… Hard as a rock Also do not understand why they had a shuttle but was not able to take us to the airport so we had to call a cab

Good location, big parking, nice room and inside of hotel.

Breakfast was very poor, for this price of hotel disaster. First day everything was empty of food, we waited for 10 minutes to same little refil, and choises of food is very little...first day they told us that breakfast is until 11, but they didn't told us that next day is regulary again until 10 am, so we couldn't eat. And they close the door to enter a restoraunt to breakfast 10 minutes before time, and there are not so kind stuff in that restoraunt.

Convenient for airport - 15 min walk. With hand luggage case. 10/15 min walk to Guidoni tram stop - direct to outside Maria Novella station - every 6minutes.

Very close to the airport and a very nice balcony

Nothing really for a quick stop over. If you don’t like a train sound in the middle of the night I suggest not staying here, but it wasn’t bad.(I kind of like the train sound.) we only stayed one night
