The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. There was a welcome pack in the room which provided details of nearby restaurants as the onsite restaurant is currently closed. This wasn't a problem though and we opted to go to The Old Barn Inn which was across the road from the hotel. We decided to have breakfast on site and the staff were very attentive and accommodating...plus the food was delicious. If we are ever visiting the area again we would choose to stay here.

Large comfortable bed, clean , traditional styled bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom. Nice welcome tray with Tea,Coffee, hot chocolate, water and cookies. The staff were lovely and helpful. Will definitely be back

On a noisy road but the room had secondary glazing which helped. Had to ensure the radiator was turned off as the heat came on overnight. Basically a B&B not a hotel which you assume from the name. So no bar or restaurant. Breakfast was ok but rather expensive for what you get. A car is essential as there's not a lot to do locally.

We booked a different hotel prior to staying here for our anniversary and that hotel ended up being awful.we managed to book in super last minute at three cocks hotel and we cannot be more thankful it ended up being the most beautiful boutique little hotel that felt extremely warm & clean with the breakfast being amazing ! the lady who owned the hotel helped us with places to go to in hay on wye and our anniversary was great! We will definitely be back ❤️👏

From looking through the entrance to leaving the following day, all my expectations were exceeded. It was welcoming, beautifully laid-out, equipped with top quality items and everything one might need. The staff were polite, welcoming and highly efficient. one of the best "Resting Places" I have been to in my 80 years; I will willingly post similar Comments wherever it will support 3 Cocks Hotel, just tell me where.

The staff was fabulous! Besides their friendliness and helpfulness with choosing a local hike, they also left flowers and a card in our room (which was BEAUTIFUL) when we mentioned we were on our anniversary trip! The inn is pretty isolated, but the restaurant directly across the street was delicious so we didn't feel the lack at all. The charm around the whole place was enough to make us want to come back, despite us always trying to vacation somewhere new.

Not a dislike, just a reminder to tall folk that this inn was built a LONG time ago, so watch your head! Personally, I think its charm more than makes up for the headache risk.

Breakfast was full cooked welsh with petit pain au chocolat. Nice light and airy room. Room very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Ensuite lovely with nice products. Exceedingly nice public areas to relax in with games. Maybe light the fire in the evenings too please. Tea and coffee and biscuits appreciated.

The fire lit in the public areas on the chilly autumn evening would be very welcoming. That’s all.

Everything was amazing. The room was plenty large enough for myself and Mum, with the most adorable single beds facing each other so we could have a chat whilst going to bed. Water pressure in the shower was 10000/10 with the added bonus of some lovely shampoos, conditioners etc. available for guests to use. The lady we spoke to was very lovely and it was nice to hear about the family run business, constant changes they made each year. You could really tell they took pride in making it a welcoming, fresh and comfortable place to stay for all guests. Added perk of an old, quirky building with great original features

Beautiful period property. Full of character but not at all dated. With a cosy, warm vibe. Decor stunning and our room has a Samsung smart tv and lovely quality tea, coffee and biscuits. Great bathtub and even better shower the following morning. Extremely relaxing and spotlessly clean. To top off the atmosphere followed a delicious breakfast.

Would be great to have a mini fridge in the room but this is hardly something to grumble about as the place was beautiful.

Wonderful bnb, love that they have keep all the charm of the original building with luxury feel, super clean and breakfast was flawless and didn't rush us.

My only personal request would be have some kind of dressing table to get ready in the mornings. And have an extra side lamp next to the arm chairs.

Both Julia and Jess were amazing. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond with their services and hospitality.

My husband is tall, the room was a little awkward to manoeuvre around. A stand up shower would have been better suited, as opposed to having to kneel down in the bath to wash. All previously discussed and acknowledged by Julia. I appreciate there may have been another better suited room. This being said, it was ideal for what we needed. Not a complaint in the slightest. Food was delicious.
