Manhattan Inn & Suites has been one of my favorite places to stay when I'm in the Southbay. The hotel is conveniently located near grocery, shopping, and restaurants. There is public transportation nearby. The area is quiet and feels safe. Other guests are quiet. The rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave, making it convenient when shopping at the nearby grocery store. The hotel provided coffee early in the morning. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Recently there have been some upgrades and remodeling.

The one criticism I have is that the WIFI signal is not consistent and can vary depending on the room location.

My stay at Manhattan Inn and Suites was great, as always. I was able to check in a little bit early, which was convenient. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Having restaurants and shops nearby is convenient, because often times I need to run across the street for something I need. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Manhattan Beach. There is street traffic but it's hardly noticeable. The rooms are always clean as is the bedding and towels. Toiletries like soap and shampoo are made available for guests.

The one thing I would like to see addressed are the outlets which are worn. If you have large heavy plug for laptops and mobile devices they don't fit snuggly in the outlets and sometimes fall out. I would advise guests to bring a short houehold extension cord or powestrip because the smaller lightweight plug will keep it from falling out.

1) All rooms are along the main street (Sepulveda), but the noise was fairly minimal. 2)The fridge was quite large for a hotel fridge with no kitchenette. 3) There was plenty of free parking in their lot (the driveway is easy to miss!). 4) The accessible room I booked at the last minute had a large bathroom with plenty of space. 5) The staff is honest--I left something quite valuable in the room when I checked out, and someone from the hotel called me to let me know about my left item within an hour of my departure.

I've booked rooms at Manhattan Inn and Suites for a number of years. The check in process at Manhattan Inn and Suites in quick and easy. The staff in polite, hospitable and accommodating. When I've had to extend my stay I've been able to keep the same room. The rooms are clean and well maintained; lamps, refrigerators, and microwaves are kept in working order. Rooms have toiletries, clean towels, and linens. Manhattan Inn and Suites is in a quiet area of Manhattan Beach. Neighbors and guests are quiet. The hotel is conveniently located near 3 bus lines, making it easy to travel to the beach and shopping. There are restaurants and a grocery store within a block of the hotel. Prices for stays are very reasonable.

If I had to critique something it would be that the Wifi signal can be weak sometimes. It's not an issue for someone casually browsing the internet, but if you're streaming video you might encounter buffering issues. Some of the rooms have wall outlets that are worn, so if you have a heavy wall plug for a laptop or other device there is potential for it to fall out.

I loved the location, the staff and the room. The lady gave me a room on the first floor at my request that had two queen beds. It was clean, had a fridge, microwave & TV. I was able to park right outside of my room for easy loading/unloading. It’s right across the street from the Manhattan Village and a straight shot to the beach. I will stay here again!

The only thing that would make this place better are nicer/bigger soaps and upgraded towels. (Towels were small and thin). Other than that, excellent. I will stay here again!

Typical California motel, clean spacious room, comfy bed, free parking. Did everything you would want of a simple accommodation, also really close to the airport so good after a long flight not having a tough drive in LA traffic as your first thing but not noisy at all. also right near a really nice beach and several great bakeries so we would certainly use it for a first night stop over again

Nothing really to say that we didn't like, again like a lot of motels accessibility might be a challenge for some, but I am sure that if you made a request for a ground floor room that they would be able to accommodate it, but this is not unique to this particular accommodation

Well I've known the Owners for a long time. They are like family at this point. I sublet a two bedrooms in a house with 3 other ppl. And every holiday they have parties. It use to be me, my mom and bro would have to leave because we don't smoke and they do so, we get to leave during the partying! It sucks but we don't pay as much rent. We love going to Manhattan because it's convenient to work, grocery stores, bars and restaurants in a nice area. We never have to worry because they are always honest about the price, our room and its always comfortable!

Well, the entry and exit is always difficult but, after a while you master it in the traffic!

Although on a very busy road, the room was quite sound-proof and we slept well. The room was spacious for our needs - the extra bed being useful for our clothes etc. Walking distance to some amazing (pricey) shops and restaurants, with great supermarkets too. I'd recommend the Thai massage place just up the road - such a treat. Arty, the lady on reception, was super helpful and kind. Just down the road was the start of the Veterans' Parkway, a beautiful bike-free walking trail that leads all the way to the beach, just a couple of kilometres away.

The towels were a little thin and worn and the bathroom vanity area was small. A built-in cupboard would have made all the difference under the vanity.

Location, clean, comfortable

This time, it was VERY noisy. Guy next door kept yelling, well into the night. Notified the staff and they were very kind and responsive to said loud guy. Also, there were some repairs going on. The repair guy was running machinery at his truck and it was VERY noisy.

Super clean! I’ve stayed in many newer big chain hotels that were not as clean and well kept as this place! Don’t let the age keep you from here! It’s older but it’s been updated inside and it’s well taken care of! Bed was super comfortable- had a foam topper! Room and bath were spacious!
