Our room was clean, furnished simply but nicely, and it was a quiet area. What worked out especially well for us was the microwave in our room, which we used (don't laugh) to reheat cold coffee we'd brought from home.

We are dyed-in-the-wool morning-coffee drinkers. I saw a Keurig machine in the office, which ... well, have you ever mucked with one of those machines when you don't know what you're doing? We have, and it wasn't pretty. So we opted instead to buy dollar store mugs and reheat our own coffee (brought from home in a cooler) as mentioned earlier.

Exactly as other reviewers say -- clean, convenient, lovely office staff, great value. Fridge and microwave in room along with a table and chairs, coffee and tea available in office from about 6 am till 9 pm; perfect for one who doesn't want to have every meal in restaurant . I've driven by many times and had stayed elsewhere on another visit, a bit farther out of town. My friend had stayed here (after being at other property with me years before) and recommended Monument Mountain over the other place. I will definitely be back next time I need another Berkshires getaway.

Very cute, very basic little retro motel. Room was equipped with small microwave and refrigerator. Great TV. Bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels and basic toiletries provided. It’s a great value stay for a night or two. Close to everything in Great Barrington. A couple of restaurants are actually walkable.

It did not bother me, but it is located in a commercial area on a main road, so there is quite a bit of traffic passing by. However, it quieted down at night, so I had no problem sleeping.

This was a good value for the cost. It was a no frills Motel but the bathroom was clean the bed was comfortable, there was a microwave and a refrigerator and enough space to hang up clothes. The rugs were worn as was the furniture but we were just paying for a place to sleep.

I felt that the main shade covering the window into the parking lot was a bit too transparent and could have been darker.

great location very comfortable and clean and the manager was super helpful and friendly. exceptional price for what you get as far as quality. beyond my expectations for a roadside motel. Highly recommend if you a traveling alone or with a companion.

only slight downside but not a very big deal and nothing you can do about was the bathroom was small especially were the toilet was, but the shower pressure and temperature were great and they provided toiletries

Our room this time-we have come every year for ten years and will continue to do so -was the smallest we’ve had, but owner was very accommodating.

Staff were so nice! They made us feel at home and even shovelled paths from our door to our car for us. We got a free upgrade to a double queen which we really appreciated. The room was very clean, the heat worked well, the beds were comfy, and it was quiet. Bonus points for the fridge and microwave! Super great value!

Nothing, everything was great!

Location was fabulous, especially to get a room so well located in Great Barrington during the height of the summer season at such a late date. We were well situated near many good food options and mere moments from the center of town. It was perfect for our needs for the one night.

There was a bit of an odd smell to the room. Both my daughter and I can be very sensitive to smells and it seemed like there was a bit of a smell of cigarettes mixed with a strong disinfectant smell. We thought that maybe someone violated the no-smoking rule and they had to use some strong cleaning solution to get rid of the odor.

Monument Mountain Motel is a great basic overnight accommodation close to Tanglewood and the other Berkshire region attractions. Extremely clean, good shower, good bed, easy to get to. Close to many dining options--we opted for Cafe Adam half a mile down the road.

Maybe a little close to the main road, but we didn't notice much road noise. Everything else was as we expected.

Although the room was small, it contained all the space we needed. It was helpful to have a small table with two chairs. I used WiFi extensively, and it worked with no issues. The refrigerator was handy to have for take-out.

The alarm clock had two outlets, but they seemed not to work. I found plenty of outlets elsewhere.
