I had a wonderful stay at Milano Scala Hotel! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the opera house and the Poldi Pezzoli Museum. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the breakfast, accompanied by live harp music, which created a truly enchanting atmosphere. Everything about my stay exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!

The location was perfect for La Scala and the Duomo the main attractions for us. Staff were friendly and efficient. Loved the harp at breakfast time !

Signs could be clearer eg for restaurant and opening times. Signs for fire evacuation should be in room. There was an announcement of a possible fire evacuation which made us realise we had to go out to the corridor to see the instructions! Difficult to get in and out of the shower as bath was deep. Tea and coffee in room was not replaced daily. Could be information available about trams and buses from hotel area. Reception sometimes busy.

Staying at this hotel was an unforgettable experience! The service was exceptional, with a kind and professional staff who went above and beyond to take care of every little detail, making our vacation absolutely perfect. The quality is evident in every corner of the hotel, and the cleanliness is impeccable – everything felt fresh, spotless, and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is simply unbeatable – close to everything we needed, yet quiet and peaceful enough to truly relax. It’s the perfect base for exploring the area while enjoying a serene retreat. Even the breakfast was a delightful surprise – it was a high-quality experience. The variety was impressive, the ingredients were fresh, and the atmosphere made it the perfect way to start the day. If you're looking for a combination of outstanding service, impeccable cleanliness, a prime location, uncompromising quality, and hospitality that feels like home – this is the place for you. We’ll definitely be back!

It's a nice small boutique hotel that located next to a neighborhood with many stores. It's also a walking distance from the Duomo, the Rinascente department store and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. There are also many nice restaurants in nearby Brera. The hotel has a nice rooftop that's open until the end of the November. The staff there is great and very attentive. If you don't have big, heavy luggage, the best is to take the train to Cadorna and then walk.

Just be mindful that as in many European cities, the rooms are on the smaller size. They could also use also a bit more lighting. But neither of these things were a big deal for us.

The location made walking to all the main attractions we wanted to see so easy. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, the breakfast was outstanding, again, the staff made us so welcome and the food was delicious. Rather than the hotel being somewhere we just crash at the end of a busy day, this hotel became part of our holiday experience, became part of the shared memories with my child, he was so impressed by the harp player while we had breakfast. An all round lovely stay and would highly recommend!

My only gripe, and it’s only because I’m filling in a questionnaire that asks me to think of something I didn’t like, would be that the hotel room was too warm and cosy, the warm room made it a bit more difficult to sleep as we are more used to a cool bedroom at night. It’s a small thing to complain about and wouldn’t have even considered complaining, it was just a preference choice on our part. Beautiful warm room to relax in, just a touch too cosy for us in the wee hours.

Welcoming atmosphere. Gardens. Wonderful breakfast with a twist - wide selection of food way above and beyond for usual Italian breakfast standards. Harfists every morning performing state of the art music both classical and pop...! Baristas so keen and caring serving morning coffee of all imaginable sorts - cappuccino outperformed the one we had in town and constant nagging for more coffee I.e. best doppio and machiato in Milan.... 7th. Floor bar drinks at night - stunning quality and unsolicited but ever so kind advice from Michele who inspired us to take a trip to Como - which we did...Thank you Michele - it was awesome! We were moved to an upgraded room after an unexpected glitch with malfunctioning bathroom door. No questions asked...

This hotel is in need of refurbishment...some malfunctioning bits and bobs in bathrooms mainly. Overall I could not recommend more - locality, hospitality, attentiveness of staff, quality of food and most of all baristas and their friendliness and care and quality of coffee they make - beyond compare! 5 - 7 minutes walk to Teatro alla Scala and Duomo...unbeatable!

I have stayed at this small hotel before, so I pretty much knew what to expect. The location is perfect - only 5-10 minutes walk to La Scala or to Pinoteca Brera or to the fashion district Montenapoleone. One thing I really like in the hotel is that there is live music at breakfast - this time a young harpist but I have also heard a pianist. And the breakfast is plentyful. The rooftop garden is nice in good weather with a great view to the mountains.

Rooms are rather small. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is unimpressive and ridiculously expensive.

Great location, a short walk to the Duomo, Galleria, La Scala and the pedestrian zones around La Brera quartiere with all the trattorias and fabulous Pinoteca art museum. Hotel has a really nice rooftop bar/lounge. Room wasn't too large but ok, windows shut out street noise. Really good breakfast spread and helpful staff. Would stay here again.

Minor thing - The shower/tub floor is higher than the floor of the bathroom so stepping in or out you need to be careful.

Excellent breakfast, great location for city centre sites, easy access to subway lines to see other neighborhoods, Brera was lovely neighbourhood to stay in with excellent restaurants close by. Staff at front desk were very helpful & friendly and had great recommendations too! Big bathroom and lived the robes too. Good sized room & upgraded to a room with good space, couch area too - stayed 4 nights & would recommend it to my friends!

Roof bar is lovely but prices for drinks are crazy high there - double that of other nice spots near by so didn't use it & wine in mini bar also very highly priced but easy to pick up good wine close by at a fraction of the price!
